Visited as part of a weekend stag. Went out of their way to accommodate us, really really friendly staff, very knowledgeable, very nice beers. Can't recommend it highly enough. Excellent. Really really excellent.

Booked a two person brewery tour & food for my partner for Christmas & this did not disappoint ! We did get the deal through groupon & the price was excellent. I would come back in a heart beat! We were offered *lots* of drinks & even better our lovely hosts were informative, friendly & knowledgable. You could tell they really had a passion for beer, which is amazing. We are hoping to come back this weekend & I can’t wait to see what new beers they have on tap 😍 the lunch they also put on was lovely & lots to go around.

As a non drinker, I wasn't sure a brewery tour was for me. How wrong was I!!!! It was a really fun, relaxed atmosphere and the brewers really knew their stuff. I'm not much of a beer connoisseur, however the ones I tasted were really nice. Rouge was my favourite! If you havent booked a tour, I really recommend you do!

Came here with some colleagues Friday. £20 secured 90 minute ‘free’ bar and various nibbles. We had a great time and would recommend a visit. The brewer (not the right term) was very friendly and knowledgable too. One small downside, sadly it’s a little off the beaten track now the bars in Shamrock Quay have closed, but worth a trip anyway.

Went there recently to meet up and catch up with a old colleague not seen for a while. It was early evening and the ruddy was on the tv. We were the only people in the place apart from the barman. There is a good range of locally brewed beers ranging from lights to darks. I’m not a huge fan of “ home brew” type beers but the darker almost stout style beer was drinkable. Staff was friendly and informative about the place and brewing process. I would visit again/

Given the voucher as a birthday gift and arranged for post Christmas - to allow space after too much drink and food !! A very casual atmosphere and basic facility in an industrial estate BUT the welcome, product information, beers on offer and the lunch added up to a great visit. Plenty of opportunity to quiz the brewers who responded in a knowledgeable (and humorous) manner. Very generous allocation of "samples".

Just a stone's throw away from St Mary's football ground, what a gem of a place. A superb range of beers which I did my best to try as many as I could mange. Highly recommended.

The ploughman’s was very generous for a brewery tour and very tasty! You have unlimited access to trying beers which is great. Very rustic as expected and staff were knowledgable and friendly. I hope many more venues stock your brews because they are delicious!

It is clear that the idea is still a back garage one, ie very amateurish even if they have moved into an industrial unit, it is clear their marketing needs sorting, there is no business plan if there had been one they will not have thrown 100.000 litres of beer last summer!!! Brewing beer need cleaned floors etc, and this far from it. Beer is classified as a food under The Food Safety (General Food Hygiene) Regulations 1995. The same standards of hygiene should therefore be applied to cellars as to kitchens. Overall an experience that could have been better, if better thought and organised. The excuse “we have been trading for 18 months” is unfortunately not one, and some serious thoughts need to be addressed if possible not over a beer. Have visited several micro breweries before this one so have may be another view on the whole. Good beers nipper and tinker. Shame they did not sell any bottles to take home after the experience. The ploughman lunch was ok but keep the slate plates for the pub and thought food and beer cellar was a no no but at Tap It it seems to be no issues.

We toured a few craft ale venues in the Southampton area starting at and organised by tapit. They have a really excellent selection available, very impressed.

I was given a brewery tour for Father's Day. It was brilliant! This micro-brewery has only been operating since Feb 2017 but already has a great range of IPAs, APAs, double IPAs, stout, and porter. Rob, the head brewer has a real passion for all his brews and spends time to develop the various tastes and styles. On the basis of what I experienced this is one small business that really deserves to succeed. We also got the chance to try a brilliant Bourbon Stout called Gunslinger that is 9.9% ABV. This was incredible, rich chocolate, slightly bitter coffee and treacle aromas and flavours. This was a complex treat for the senses and despite the ABV was not overwhelmingly powerful. As part of the tour we were able to bottle our own personalised Tinker IPA which was a really nice touch too. I'd love to go back again. Well done!

This was a fantastic evening. A chance to see the whole process and opprtunity to taste all the beers made on site along with a personal tour by Rob. Great evening and a must for craft beer lovers. Bonus of a souvenir half pint tankard too. Thanks for the 3 minute wash Jamie! Great evening enjoyed by our group last night.

I visited Tap It Brewery on William St for a quick tour and a cheeky pint. Wow, what an amazing place. The head Brewer, or Fermentalist, as they call it, Rob, definitely knows his stuff. And the beer tasted fantastic. The whole theme seems to be leaning toward the American vibe, which is pretty cool and different. I'm told they are due to open a bar on Oxford Street in the coming months, so I can't wait for that! Keep up the good work guys!

Not even open!!!!! Booked a bottomless brunch, paid a deposit only to find it locked up and closed when we arrived for our booking, called the number on the website, no idea why it's not open and not even an apology. Absolutely disgusting treatment!!!!

Was very disappointed with the service here and wished I had taken the reviews I’d read into account before attempting to come here for a special occasion. We were excited to come here for my moms birthday for an afternoon tea. The space is lovely and decorated beautifully and the food from what we saw on the tables looked incredible. My sister phoned to book for my moms birthday, she was told to come at 2pm and that there would be a table for us so that’s what we did. When we arrived one of the waiters said, very rushed, they have no space and the kitchen is closing soon, so we explained what was said on the phone and he said well he wasn’t the one who answered and I asked why we were told that and he said ‘I don’t know’ and then turned around and ignored us, I then walked to the front of the tea room as I wanted to talk to another member of staff or the lady my sister had talked to, and the waitress just looked at me and turned away so I decided to leave as this made me feel very uncomfortable. We left and I rang up and asked about what happened and the lady who answered seemed to get a bit shirty and adamant she told my sister on the phone that she explained that they were fully booked and was unlikely we’d get a table and people have to book 3-4 weeks in advance. However we were not told this on the phone and if we had known this would we have paid to get a taxi to have a special meal on my moms birthday knowing it was fully booked and we wouldn’t likely get a table? No. She did tell me they had space for the next day, Sunday however at this point I had no hope our experience here would be special based on how we were talked to, and if she had truthfully said this on the phone to my sister we would of course have booked for Sunday. Thankfully the day was saved as we went around the corner to muse which was lovely and then to The Pig in the wall for drinks where they went above and beyond for us and even gave my mom a gift so my faith in good service was restored. I wouldn’t recommend booking here for a special occasion.

This place is fantastic. The latte is the most delicious drink I think I’ve ever had and food was great too. Don’t miss the Hoxton buns either! 100% recommend ❤️
