The best vegan place to eat in Southampton. Great menu with plenty of choice. Fast service and friendly staff. The cakes always look good but we're always too full to sample any! Will definitely return on our next visit to Southampton. 5 stars 🌟

Excellent cafe in the heart of Southampton - lovely staff, great tasting indulgent food but healthy options available too. The cake counter was incredible too! Can't wait to visit again too - even my non vegan family agree.

Cafe Thrive is located in the heart of Southampton just opposite the park. Seats outside and on a sunny day lovely place to stop and take in the bustle of the city. Inside there are seats downstairs and upstairs and the staff will greet you warmly, it is often busy here (which is great for them) so you may have to wait for a table to come free which is expected when a place is popular like this one. Food is spot on, not stingy on portions, always hot, tasteful and well presented. The loaded fries 🍟 are not to be missed at all! I really great, independent eatery and one I’ll continue to go back to again & again. Well done indeed! 🙌🏻

Very rude and confrontational member of staff serving us. Not a welcoming atmosphere. Peanut satay sauce tasted like artificial sweetner and cake frosting. Wouldn’t reccommend.

As far as I know, one of only two vegan businesses in central Southampton. Great to see them supporting the local community with their offerings and great to see a business which actually cares about the animals and the planet, not *just* profit. In regards to the service - always a friendly bunch in there. sometimes I've rocked up with my huge family and they've done what they can to accommodate us. Food - they have their staples and they have weekly changes on their specials board. You can see they try hard to bring us new flavours and I've enjoyed everything each time I've visited. Thanks for feeding Southampton's vegans, Thrive 🙂🌱

A safe harbour for healthy food

Can't believe that Thrive isn't in your list of top vegan food places in Glossop. Quite honestly anything you choose will be delicious and I'm not vegan. Each choice is made pretty much from scratch taking in your likes and dislikes and any food intolerances. Staff are so friendly. I love this place and go at least twice a week.

Absolutely phenomenal tasty food. Came here for a late brunch with the family and loved it.

Ordered a BBQ stack burger and it was huge and so so good! Also the brownies are insane 🔥🔥🔥

I've been to Thrive a few times now, and been served by Sarah (the owner) two of those times - she was awesome! Super friendly and happy, which just added to the experience of incredible food and lovely vibe.

Staff were very helpful, we had turned up after the breakfast service had finsihed, not realising there was specifc timings, but the staff memeber behind the till said it wasn't a problem and as a one off he would make the dish we requested of the breakfast menu. This was above and beyond.

Lovely place with some great food. Locations a bit cramped but that's beyond their control. Food is superb. If your looking for vegan food that you don't know is vegan, this is your place!

Excellent breakfast! Portions were decent, price was better than other places we’ve tried, food was really good, staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend and will definitely return! We also bought 2 cream filled chocolate covered doughnuts to takeaway, which were great, and so much better than the usual dull vegan sweet options from most other places, like boring flapjacks or dry brownies. These were proper, indulgent treats! 100% recommend!

Been here a few times and this place is amazing. Massive menu selection, all vegan and absolutely delicious. Staff are friendly, polite and quick service. The atmosphere is relaxed and as someone with sensory difficulties, the music is not too loud and the lights are low which is really helpful. Also, the cakes are to die for!!!

I was in the city for work and excited to try the all vegan cafe (we don't have one in my smaller town!). I ordered the SLT baguette and the creme brulee cappachino. Both were delicious, served quickly, and brilliant value. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Thank you!

Good healthy option, especially for lunch. I had the Asian salad with falafel. The sesame dressing was excellent as were the falafels. Overall the salad was good and fresh though a little challenging to toss well. A nice place for lunch.

Hair on the food overall didn't enjoy it as I just wanted a plan hot dog. Service was fairly okay Atmosphere was above normal and was nice

Chuffed to find a place open at 7.30pm where I could get a coffee. Extra chuffed to find out it’s a pleasant little place that makes an excellent coconut flat white. Will have to return soon and try the food, as it looked and smelled delicious.

I'm not a vegetarian or vegan. Looked quickly at the menu outside, saw burgers etc and, being in a hurry, decided to go in and eat there. It was not until I read the full menu that I realised I'd stumbled into a vegan restaurant - something I'd normally avoid like the plague! However, I didn't have time to find somewhere else so ordered a meal. I have to say I was extremely surprised...their fresh food was very tasty and I enjoyed my meal, as did my two other companions did theirs. Service wasgreat and staff friendly - could not be faulted. 10/10 to Cafe Thive and I'd eat there again anyday. Well done. It's easy to see why they were full to the brim and more patrons arriving every minute but having to wait or takeaway.

we went for something fresh and got exactly what we wanted! we found a smoothie bowl but didn’t notice they had stopped serving breakfast, however they were determined to still serve it for us! best food i’ve had in a long time, will definitely come again.

A fantastic all vegan cafe with an ever changing menu that’s creative and delicious! I only wish they offered more of their sweet treats throughout the week as well as just the large selection they offer on a weekend. Highly recommend to vegans and non vegans!

I discovered this place by chance today, needless to say the food was amazing served with a delicious drink as well! The staff were really friendly and patient as we did not know what to go for as there is plenty of options available It is rare to find a Vegan cafe with this much choice, I will most definitely be returning in the near future

I love Cafe Thrive. Amazing vegan food, super dog friendly and lovely staff! So happy they stock pastries from BEK Sourdough Bakery, it's our most favourite vegan bakery and now we can get their goodies from Thrive anytime we want!

A wonderful vegan coffee shop in city centre. Really busy and a great atmosphere with many young people coming and going. We only had hot drinks but there was a Great selection of food and drinks

Our favourite brunch spot in Southampton. Every week the specials change. It's also top quality vegan comfort food. Try the reuben! The only potential downside is that you'll get addicted to vegan cake and your waistline will expand as you wallet shrinks, but that's a risk I'm willing to take!

THE Vegan cafe to go to if you live in Southampton or if you are just visiting. They have a special menu based on a theme, this is usually something seasonal, a holiday special, popular culture which updates usually each week.

Great tunes and can’t fault the service. The food is OK; chips were worse than air fryer chips, and the seitan was flavourless. Probably wouldn’t go back.

Tried several drinks, starting with a soya latte, then their apple strudel milkshake (which was amazing and most definitely my favourite), and finished off with a pumpkin spice latte with coconut milk. As someone who very rarely has dairy free drinks, I will most definitely be coming back, and maybe even try some of the food.

I'm not frequently in Southampton but when I am I make a point to get food at Cafe Thrive. Some of the best food I've eaten has been from there. Portion sizes are ample and food is reasonably priced. It is also delicious. I have had an outstanding burger there and I've had possibly one of the best full English breakfasts I've ever had here. Really really well recommended.

Always a lovely experience. Perfect place for a vegan mum to hide whilst my teenagers go to primark !! Lush cake and hot chocolate.

This is a lovely little vegan cafe with a very friendly atmosphere and family run feel. Chose for my son who is vegetarian (although I am not) and we both enjoyed the very fresh food that was served up. Definitely will visit again when next down in Southampton from London.

This is my go to place to eat when I go into Southampton centre. The food is amazing, with generous portions, well thought out and very very tasty. Specials change every week and give me lots of new flavours to try. My personal favourites have been PBJ loaded fries and Greek Flatbread. Their desserts are also fabulous - with lots and lots of choice

Cafe thrive food is amazing! Literally the best cakes I have had in the world, the cronuts are incredible! They are absolute heaven! My favourite so far was the mini egg cookies and creme eggs at Easter as Easter chocolate is my favourite! Being vegan I miss certain non vegan chocolate and cake things but when I have cafe thrives food I’m no longer missing out! The owner Sarah is absolutely lovely and super friendly too and always goes out her way to provide a brilliant service. I Cannot recommend enough! I look forward to more cake! 🥰😍

Not safe for coeliacs. Cross contamination is not a thought. Nondedicated gf fryer, baked goods not kept separated and I doubt they used separate utensils or spreads in the kitchens for the sandwiches. Not recommended for coeliacs but fine for vegan.
