Love the food here, my favourite is the lamb doner with naan. One of the best doner I have had after a longtime and the staff is very friendly. This is my go to place if I fancy a takeout.

I usually order the donner kebab at this restaurant and it has a completely different blend of taste aswell and the other dishes served, the food is very nice and I would recommend this restuarant to others!.

Probably the best donner ive had in my life

I’ve had food here a couple times and the only thing I can say is wow. First of all the interior and exterior is modern and sharp giving me that ultimate dining experience. The customer service was friendly and straightforward. The meat was succulent and the rice was fresh. I will definitely come back!!!!

I am writing to express my concern and disappointment regarding the behaviour of the owner Mohamed , during my visit to your restaurant about complaint of hair in the kebab. Unfortunately, the interaction I had was extremely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable.which I found very disturbing and unhygienic. I understand that mistakes happen, but this is a basic issue of cleanliness and food safety that should not occur in any reputable establishment. the owner was rude, dismissive, refused to acknowledge my concerns, or engaged in aggressive behaviour This behaviour is completely unacceptable, especially in a customer-facing role, and it negatively impacted my food experience. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy. This type of behaviour not only affects my impression of your restaurant but also undermines the reputation of your business.

The food quality was appalling, and the staff were extremely rude, even swearing at women. I will never go back there again. I have footage of their behavior and will be submitting it to the authorities. I sincerely hope no woman ever has to endure such treatment in the future.

I order from here regularly and I recommend their chicken doner as it has a perfect balance of spices. It comes with a fresh tandoori naan which tops it off for me.

Horrible experience. Won’t be visiting again . Highly unprofessional . Despite our telling them to fresh fry the chicken, they refried the already displayed pieces. Burgers were horrible . They had used pre-made fillets and just a basic mayo.

Ordered a pizza from here via uber. Order was cancelled almoast immediately but money was still taken from bank account. Restaurant not very helpful, uber even less still waiting on a response.

Used to love their doner kebabs, however the last there was ABSOLUTELY terrible. It was like 75% onion slices topped with a little meat. Seemed like it was from a totally different management.

Juicy and tender kebab with bestfried chicken

Staying at a nearby hotel and with a select number of fast food outlets offering halal options, we thought we would check out Shalimar. We had to wait a short while before being seen to which is understandable late on a Saturday night. Some of the food didn't look overly appetising (particularly the fried chicken).. But I ordered up a £4.99 variety meal.. It wasn't too long before the food was served, and I was on my way. Much to my disappointment, and as per the picture, one can see that the box is almost half empty, which is such a shame. That being said however, the food was very good! The accompanying chilli sauce was nice too. So to the team at Shalimar, keep up the good work and try fill the boxes up a little more please! Best wishes.

I’ve ordered mixed kebab last 21st of April thru Uber Eats and I had food poisoning from eating the meal. I was sick for almost 5 days because of the runs that caused me serious issues. I hope there’s no one harmed other than me. This was the first time I’ve ever had food poisoning and it’s scary.

Placed an order online, said it was accepted. Waited 20mins only for them cancel it. There was still an hour until closing as well so wasn't because it was a late order. It wouldnt have been a problem if they'd cancelled it straight away but 20 mins is an absolute joke, won't be trying them again

Food quality and quality is good Especially if you order from uncle you will get proper food as well as service But …. Just beware of one guy who wear glasses is very rude with customers I had bad experience since 8 months He adding purposely some more extra charges which he never says before order, what is written on menu it’s totally different he applies when make final payment,never polite with customers as uncle do. Just because of uncle and his behavior I love to go. For him I’ll give 7stars #BEWARE Of specs wala boy
