Horrible experience. Won’t be visiting again . Highly unprofessional . Despite our telling them to fresh fry the chicken, they refried the already displayed pieces. Burgers were horrible . They had used pre-made fillets and just a basic mayo.

Great food and quality compared to what else is locally available, only downside is slow service and delivery but if the food was as good as what I ordered then no problem waiting a bit longer!

Ordered a pizza from here via uber. Order was cancelled almoast immediately but money was still taken from bank account. Restaurant not very helpful, uber even less still waiting on a response.

Used to love their doner kebabs, however the last there was ABSOLUTELY terrible. It was like 75% onion slices topped with a little meat. Seemed like it was from a totally different management.

Juicy and tender kebab with bestfried chicken

Staying at a nearby hotel and with a select number of fast food outlets offering halal options, we thought we would check out Shalimar. We had to wait a short while before being seen to which is understandable late on a Saturday night. Some of the food didn't look overly appetising (particularly the fried chicken).. But I ordered up a £4.99 variety meal.. It wasn't too long before the food was served, and I was on my way. Much to my disappointment, and as per the picture, one can see that the box is almost half empty, which is such a shame. That being said however, the food was very good! The accompanying chilli sauce was nice too. So to the team at Shalimar, keep up the good work and try fill the boxes up a little more please! Best wishes.

Best kebab and fried chicken in Southampton

Fantastic food. Came in with few other friends and we just Loved the food from their pizza to their kebabs to their fried chicken. Will be ordering more food again for sure.

I’ve ordered mixed kebab last 21st of April thru Uber Eats and I had food poisoning from eating the meal. I was sick for almost 5 days because of the runs that caused me serious issues. I hope there’s no one harmed other than me. This was the first time I’ve ever had food poisoning and it’s scary.

Amazing people and food. Best pizza I had in a while and the wings were just nice and spicy.

Placed an order online, said it was accepted. Waited 20mins only for them cancel it. There was still an hour until closing as well so wasn't because it was a late order. It wouldnt have been a problem if they'd cancelled it straight away but 20 mins is an absolute joke, won't be trying them again

Food quality and quality is good Especially if you order from uncle you will get proper food as well as service But …. Just beware of one guy who wear glasses is very rude with customers I had bad experience since 8 months He adding purposely some more extra charges which he never says before order, what is written on menu it’s totally different he applies when make final payment,never polite with customers as uncle do. Just because of uncle and his behavior I love to go. For him I’ll give 7stars #BEWARE Of specs wala boy
