Kwackers in Southampton

Can only review the food as it was a deliveroo order, which I appreciate isn't usually as good as when you dine in. Both the double smash burger and double smash duck burger were underwhelming for the price. Both were dry, lacked seasoning and overall were mostly tasteless. The only flavours coming from the toppings. Bun didn't look to be the one in the photos either which was seeded brioche, this was kind of like a generic store bun. What really let the order down though was the packaging. The burgers were just wrapped loosely in tinfoil, so as advertised they were smashed and squashed on arrival and freezing cold. Loaded fries were ok, like the burgers though, just not what you expect for the price.

Mediocre for its price, the wait time doesn’t justify the mediocre food, but the portion size on the wraps at least is huge.

Stunning place great service and location

Rolling up to Kwackers with cousin Tom, Stomach on E, need to get my munch on. Fam says "Kwackers smacks," so we vibe, LFG, it's snack o'clock, and we're live. Step in the line, peep the crowd, Menu's lit—choices loud. Tom's like, "Bruh, what we finna choose?" I'm eyeing the wings, can't snooze on the booze. He’s like, “Bet, the loaded fries, no cap,” We both lock eyes—perfect trap. Drip check: Tom in his cargos and slides, We’re Kwackers-bound, down for the ride. Grab a booth, we post and wait, Phone in hand, just scrolling fate. Food drops down, it’s a whole mood, Kwackers didn't come to play with the food. First bite? Bussin’, straight to the dome, Flavors hit hard, like we’re back at home. Tom’s like, "Bro, this smacks so fire," I'm like, "Facts, fam, Kwackers retired the fryer." Plates all clear, vibes through the roof, Kwackers mission? 10/10 truth. Pay up, dab out, our hunger fulfilled, Tom and I? Kwackers kings, chillin' and thrilled.

Kwackers hosted us and it was really nice. Holli was really friendly and prompt with her service. A great night out with the team

Quick service, I had the chicken bacon baonsise wrap bloody delicious, spring rolls are the best I've ever had. Nice and hot.Needs more seating.

Me and my daughter went to kwackers in west key what a load of crap food was rubbish warm duck was dry over priced it was all chips for 9 pound no value i would not go there again and don't recommend it crap

The most terrible fast food ever. The poke bowls taste like they are made of Haribo duck. The Katsu chicken chips made me feel like sleeping the rest of the day. I would imagine they are loaded with msg and salt to ridiculous levels. Pure filth.

Sadly it was cold and greasy food - cold wrap and chips and greasy spring onions. Serving staff was friendly but would not try it again as gave me indigestion.

Hollie was our waitress here, she was so friendly and welcoming. We came here twice while we was staying in Southampton and we had her both times. She is certainly a credit to you you. Always smiled and you can tell she certainly likes her job. Gave us great service and the food was amazing both times. Thank you Hollie 😊 xx

Good food. Well prepared and excellent service

My husband and I visited here after his football game to have a late lunch/early dinner. The food was lovely but unfortunately we both have had food poisoning from what we had eaten.

The chicken was so tasty but its another sold out company that doesn't take cash. Another boycotted business that will not support because of this.

Hi, me and my partner came to your restaurant last night to have the Katsu curry 2 for £30 deal. When we were eating the curry, I had to stop eating it as I was starting to feel unwell. The spring rolls on both our plates were stone cold! Like they had come out of the fridge! My partner ate more of her meal than me and later in the evening had a bad stomach and felt very ill. I complained to the waiter in your restaurant, but he only gave us a miserly 5% off which equated to £1.50! I needed to get out of the restaurant at this point as I was feeling unwell, so didn’t argue it. I can safely say we will never be returning for food again!

Food isn’t bad but served on tiny side plates which is annoying. My main gripe is that they don’t accept cash and don’t make this clear otherwise I would have left. I will not support any business which refuses to accept our countries basic currency for their own gain.

Popped in for lunch today and the service I received from a lovely young man named Steven was simply outstanding. He provided really good customer service and was very patient with me and helpful regarding my order. The duck burger was a fantastic recommendation by him. I thoroughly enjoyed it and the atmosphere and will be back again! Steven should be highly commended at providing top quality service to your customers!

Popped in for lunch yesterday. What a great place! All the staff are friendly and efficient and have time for a chat. The food is really tasty - I highly recommend the mighty duck burger! It's a nice atmosphere and all the tellys are really high quality so wherever you are you can see what's going on. This is going to be great for the tournaments coming up in 2024 - the place to go for the Olympics, cricket world cup, Euros! Thanks to Karen for looking after us. We'll be back!

I had a duck burger, lettuce and hoisin sauce. It was the best burger I’ve ever had!! Raf served me and Elliot cooked my burger. Very polite, pleasant lads. Would definitely recommend.

Visited for a quick lunch today situated at in the food hall at the top of west quay shopping centre it adds an interesting fusion of west meets east food. I ordered the original duck burger with a helping of Asian slaw, spring onions, pickled ginger and hoisin sauce, my partner had the sweet chili chicken burger, all served with fries and also ordered an extra side of spring rolls. The duck burger was tasty, not too gamey flavour, nice bouncy texture to the meet, complemented by the fresh and crunchy slaw and the sweet hoisin. The chicken burger was crisp and the sweet chili was just right. Fries are fresh and crunchy, nothing spectacular but nicely done. Spring rolls were slightly anaemic, could of done with 30 seconds to add a little colour and the filling was very underwhelming. All in all a very nice burger would be interested in trying a few of their dishes.

Wonderfully tasty food, and completely customisable to your preferences. Would highly highly recommend if you’re in West Quay, for an incredibly easy meal. Can be eaten on the go if in a hurry, and the wraps can be made and paid for within 5 minutes. Price for a meal is roughly £10, with can and chips. Without, it is usually around £5 - £7.

Really nice food, with lots of options. Chips are a little greasy. Queue can be quite long, but normally no more than 10 minutes. Eating in WestQuay is horrible as always.

Jen or jem I’m not sure completely 😂 but she was a legend! Really friendly and helpful!! All the other staff were also very friendly but I just found that Jen or Jem stood out. I’ll definitely return! Good suited my dietary requirements as I’m trying to eat healthy and enjoyed having the healthier poke bowl with chicken was all round 5 stars! Thanks guys and girls!!!

Absolutely amazing food, with some great hospitality and lovely ambience. Jen and theo are amazing servers both working at incredible speeds and great conversation regardless of the day. A highly recommended go to for lunch by me, definitely worth a try. My go to favourite is the Chicken Baconaise burger but I'm also very privy to their duck wraps to mix it up every now and then.

A first experience while being a unique store to Southampton only. Good staff service, interesting to see duck patty in a form of burger. Was debating on another dish but rather attempt with something local first. A contrast to fast food shops I work in was a relaxing environment and an easygoing process when ordering

These guys now do their delicious food at St Mary’s (Southampton Football Club) on Saints home games and they are the best addition! Have tried the Salt & Pepper Chicken, Duck Wraps & Burgers - all excellent quality.

Qwackers has quickly become our go tobin Southampton. Foods served quick, fresh and healthy, more reasonably priced than any fast food outlet. Staff praise to Sean, always makes us feel welcome and happy to help!
