Amazing food, above and beyond what you would expect from a 'chip shop' seriously good food that isn't the slightest greasy, donner meat with flavour and NOT sludge, the freshest fish I have had from a chippy and even gave both of my dogs treats to take home for FREE, it's not local but local enough that it's still hot when I get home and pass my local chippy that shuts when it wants and runs out of chips....... 10/10 highly recommended and staff are friendly and just pukka.

So after losing all faith in chip shops since The Little Fryer in Bitterne closed, we tried Andy's, lovely food and great service. We will definitely go back.

Not the cheapest but really good. Freshly cooked crispy chips, nice piece of haddock. Loads of other options, burgers, gyros etc. Currently only taking cash so be ready, cash machine nearby.

Come here for the kebabs think they're tasty and not like the one over the road that tastes of plastic, could be a little bit bigger but they are tasty. As with everywhere they have gone up in price overtime but that's to be expected. Great friendly service and a clean atmosphere. What more could you want?

Poor customer service, dry chips, Always a problem when I get food from here. The old owners need to show these jolers how to look after people that have gone there 20 years plus.

Driver sat outside text to say outside come and get food! Didn’t knock my door once!! Called 5times all at the same time no mins between to make it look like loads of missed calls! Couldn’t contact him back on number he used!! Contacted Andy’s and the driver didn’t take it back! The driver stole our food!! Disgusting service!!!

Absolutely disgusting! Order Never cameo. Time slot so we cancelled the order and have an email to prove it but just eat are refusing the refund saying we never cancelled the order and even though we ordered at 4.50 to be delivered by 5.20 at 8.40 we had an email to say it was coming even though cancelled the order at 545

they forgot an item from our order but Just Eat refunded the missing item without any fuss.

It was delivery guys strike day so.....

This place was run for years by a popular Cypriot family (retired). These people are their worthy successors and run a great business. Super hot and good sizes.

It’s the best chippy in the area! For over 30+ years it’s been serving great food. No complaints here. I have always had big portions of chunky chips and fantastic fish with crispy batter. A long standing business with a huge customer following. You’ve tried the rest, now try the best!

Always bought from Bitterne but closed down. Tried others in the area but not as good. So tried Andy’s Delicious & hot. We’ve found a replacement at last! Very nice. We will be back. Thank you

Amazing, first time trying the Doner meat, it was fabulous, perfectly spiced and unlike anything I’ve had before. The burger was delicious and the regular chips more than enough for two. Everything delivered piping hot and great delivery

This is the best chippie in town. I love the batter so thin and crispy with no grease, chips are proper hand cut and so hot you would think they had just come out of your own chip pan. The portion size is generous, 1 regular bag feeds two adults. I’ve mentioned the amazing squid before…cooked to perfection and the spicy wings are definitely spicy…absolutely brilliant Always delivered on time and piping hot.

App won’t let me select it but food was over one hour late and the can of coke was missing

Delivery time kept changing and getting later and later, for the price the portion sizes are quite small. Curry sauce comes in a tiny pot. Food came hot and not too greasy

Normally really good but I went in after work and the chips are dry and the savoloy sausage is like eating sand and was all split it's a shame because they are normally really good but not today

The only negative was the large curry sauce was a very small curry sauce and was very watery and had little taste of curry The rest was very good

Was tasty but bit disappointed that the bun with the donor meat was a normal burger bun and not the brioche that was advertised and the regular portion of chips for the price was quite small. But was one of the tastier kebab meats I’ve had and delivery was quick with food still very hot. Would order again

The food was cold one it got here. I asked for salt and vinegar on all the chips not one has them on. The flavour of everything was tasteless. Not impressed

Changed hands a while ago . Initially nothing changed . Unfortunately now prices have gone up and portion sizes gone down . Had a kebab on last visit and found the meat very bland . The salad was also bland . From going at least once a week , I now rarely use .

Delicious food, delivered hot and well wrapped. Generous portions and very tasty. Will definitely use again and recommend to anyone. Delivery was five minutes later than expected time, but still much quicker than other takeaways we have used in the past.
