Our first time ordering a takeaway from Ruchi. I have to say it was an excellent experience. Becky that took our order was really helpful. The chicken pieces were huge! Which was a nice surprise because normally they are smaller from other takeaways. The flavours were excellent. All in all we will definitely be a returning customer.

£50 a month for a membership when others are £45 and the gyms are 3X bigger…

I have not been here since the new operators have been installed. Sadly the standard of fish and chips has dropped significantly. The service and pricing is still very good but at they’d of the day what we want is excellent fish and chips. The chips particularly were soggy and greasy, and they did not taste very nice. It’s such a shame because this used to be without question the best fish and chip shop for miles. Sorry guys but please improve.

First time I have been for a meal here and won’t be back! Overpriced lasagna poorly presented - layers of fresh pasta topped with bolognaise sauce. Had difficulty finding the bechamel sauce. Meal not very warm.

Nice amount of Fish and Chips and reasonably prices compared.Went for a medium cod and large chips. Had to leave some for the next day. I will def go back because it was delicious and they served me real quick.

Top food, try the Salt and Pepper prawns... They are amazing. They only take cash, so be prepared. Favourite Chinese in Thame. Hands down!

Lovely traditional bakery and cafe, serving a range of tasty food and tempting pastries. The staff were very helpful and the coffee was excellent. A good place for a coffee and cake, or a light lunch

After a long dog walk not too far away, and with a lack of cafes around that area we came to Thame town. Had a nice walk around and tried to find an easy quick place for a sandwich/panini which wasn’t too expensive and wasn’t a chain. After stopping at another cafe near by I was reluctant to pay £8.50 for a panini when I didn’t even want to sit in and nipped further down into this place! Beef, blue cheese and rocket panini for £4.95 i think, was perfectly adequate for our needs. And there was plenty of other choices I would have happily gone for. Nice place, friendly chilled vibe, bit more basic. The menu, or bits of paper scattered around on the wall could possibly do with a design upgrade. Do I think it’s the highest quality, that would match the £8.50 alternative, probably not. But is it priced perfectly for what it is. Definitely. Sad to see this place hasn’t had more reviews. The young woman behind the counter possible could have done with some energy. Sometimes you might be having a bad day but hospitality doesn’t have any forgiveness for that. Deserves for people to keep it going. (This isn’t my first time here either, I visited a while ago, likely last year and grabbed a milkshake after a hard days work when working in the area and the milkshake then was very good too!)

I traveled for more than an hour to have a kebab since my mates were really hyping it up. The food was good although I've ordered large chicken kebab and the size looked exactly the same as my friend's small kebab. The whole experience was actually destroyed by the waiting time and the attitude. After 30minutes of waiting we asked about the order and was told it will come in 10minutes. They said the name and order number after 10min...Turned out it was for someone else after all (for their mates). After 50min of asking about the order it turned out they actually haven't even started making it. So in conclusion it took 7 people and 1hr to make two small boxes of kebab. I think there is clearly some favoritism with clients who they know. I will definitely not be coming back and I will tell my mates it's not worth it. If your business is not respecting your clients time then it's not worth the money. (also adding that it wasn't that busy tbh)

I'd say Famous House is the no. 1 chinese takeaway in Thame! I guess they have a real top chef in the kitchen. That's why the quality of food has never disappointed me! The staff are very friendly as well! So when I'm lazy to cook, Famous House is always the place to go for me 😄

Ordered several pizzas for our darts team, great quality food and service highly recommended, would use again without question!

Average food and service, no complaints had better 👌.
