Cute professional bakery. I came here on a referral from a local in Thame. I got the “Cornfield loaf of bread” wonderful artesian style bread that was simply amazing. Comes uncut but was offered it cut which I chose. I arrived about 10am and got the very last loaf. Apparently they sell out daily. I was told you can pre order as well. All of the other items there looked so good but I only tried this one item due to my travel plans. Highly recommend this lovely bakery.

So, to be clear from the outset, this review is in relation to the market stall produce at Deddington Market and not the cafe/restaurant. I've not visited the market for a few months, and being honest, I was actually going there for a different bakery stall, but in their absence, I chose to try the Cotswold bakery. I purchased a sourdough loaf and 2 donuts. I was quite surprised that the 2 donuts were more expensive than the bread. At £2.65 per donut I was expecting a great deal, but i was deeply disappointed. There was very little filling, the donuts tasted like it was a few days old. The bread was tasteless, and the texture was really tight. The images below are of the £2.65 donut on the left, and a shop bought £80p donut.

A wonderful traditional bakery and cafe. Best veggie breakfast in all of Thame. Coffee always good. Cosy, characterful and calm atmosphere. Staff amazing. Seating upstairs and down. Always a pleasure to go to.

Great location, lovely staff and relaxing atmosphere..... More importantly though by far the best Sourdough Panini's around. They are superb, tasty and worth every penny. Highly recommend a visit if you're looking for cafe (brekkie or lunch) stop in Thame.

Strange experience. Dirty tables. Was told to go downstairs to look for myself what pastries were available as the waitress 'didn't know' - we heard her say this again to 3 other groups including when asked what cold drinks were available. Surely she could go or they could have a system that would help customers. The cornish pasty was nice but mainly pastry and the breakfast was mainly good but the egg not full cooked and the lovely sourdough bread spoilt by cheap margarine. Seeing that they charge butter prices, they really need to do much better.

The truth is that everything was delicious and the service was unbeatable. It is these types of places that always make me want to return. I am sure I will recommend it. Highlight the friendliness of the staff and the good atmosphere, in addition to the quality of the product

Went in for a cuppa and a snack. Did not expect wishy-washy "tea" in something resembling my Nanna's trifle dish! Said I couldn't drink it so the waitress poured it into a coffee pot and gave me a cup and saucer. This did not help! The actual tea is awful - perfumed and undrinkable so I told the waitress to take it away. A few minutes later a different waitress popped her head round and asked if I would like a cup of Yorkshire tea. Yes, I most certainly would! Be warned, if you want tea you might not get what you're expecting!

Went for some hot food. The nice lady downstairs at the counter set us up with a table upstairs and said our order will be taken. A waitress took the order of a group of seven people who sat down after us who ordered hot food. After 10 minutes of waiting, we asked someone to take our order as we have been waiting and was told that no hot food is now available because the grill gets turned off at 2pm. The time was dead on 2pm and was told just cold food now even though we had been waiting well before 2pm deadline If your after hot food and understanding staff avoid this place at all costs after 2pm and go to a nearby cafe who keep a grill on.

Great place to stop for food. I went there for a breakfast with a friend and it was lovely. The staff are fantastic and always happy to help. The food is great and prices are reasonable. The seating has been upgraded and there is a lovely place to sit upstairs. If you can get a window seat you can also watch the world go by.

I bought a sour dough loaf yesterday. The assistant put into a bag and handed it to me so I didn't see the loaf. When I got home I found that the crust was burnt black.

This little shop is housed in a very old building in the Butter Market and has a display counter full of beautiful cakes and pastries. It sells excellent bread and has a selection of interesting bread flour for those who like to bake their own. There are small cafes at the back of the shop and on the first floor. An excellent place to stop for tea, coffee and a snack.

they should consider putting cakes with icing in a box not in a bag... not only when it is warm at the counter and outside. disappointing.

Great place for motorcycle enthusiasts and a great meeting point. Place needs looking after and little bit more love on the food produced and service times . Overall a great place for motorcycle meetings as has stood the test of time by staying open all those years while other places have closed
