Ok, that's as good as it gets. Sauce and rice was very nice, chicken was poor and tough. No option to order tikka online. Overall, it was very expensive and you don't get good value for money.

Just had a lovely meal from Ruchi. Lovely welcome in the shop and excellent food. Best Indian meal we have had. Wonderful flavours.

Absolutely brilliant customer service - super friendly. The lady at the desk taking orders was very accommodating and reassuring ie. food allergies and was confident, patient, and clear. The team worked well together and the service was fast. Food is delicious. Highly recommend!

Not too impressed with our first visit to Ruchi. Can’t complain about the service very lovely lady too our order and was quick to be made, food however not amazing, the chicken was extremely dry and chewy and didn’t taste nice. The masala was awful, lamb was dry and just disgusting and for the sauce…. Even worse. Only good thing was the poppadoms. We was very excited to try here as a lot of good reviews, sceptical of price for £60? But looking at reviews wouldn’t mind paying if was worth it. Won’t be ordering again.

Self-classified as the premium local curry house with those interesting prices (comparative to the local curry houses… are we in London?). Headline: High prices. Korma on the special list (to swindle you for extra £££, unbelievable Jeff) lol - never seen that before, it’s a classic, in all but this place, with the standard price! Really, who do you think we are? And not even a single complimentary poppadom on a £50+ order…? Talk about stingy. The imaginary popodoms left an unsavory taste but I tried to think about the mains. The chicken was so overcooked and chewy, it could have doubled as stress balls (ignore the comparison and get serious for a second… the chicken was the worst I’ve had from a curry house in over a decade. It was absolutely shocking, how did that leave the kitchen! And at that price point… unforgivable. Leather is softer!). Closing points for fellow customers: Restaurants these days think they can get away with sky-high prices without delivering the quality (or quantity) to match. I'll be sticking to the Cin Lounge, Mowchak, and Duos, where they seem to look for repeat custom! As you can see from my review history, I’m not one to leave reviews like this often, but I’m honestly so frustrated with this place

We did a very large delivery order for 11 people on Friday night, spoke to a lovely and very helpful girl called Becky who helped arrange it all. Food arrived on time, was hot, and everything was delicious!!! Massive thank you and we will be ordering again soon :-)

This is the second time we have had the set meal for two and shared all the courses. Portion size was plenty for two. The onion bhajis and lamb balti are particular favourites. We ordered by phone, food was ready on our arrival 20 mins later and we were served by the bubbly Becky! Thoroughly recommend.

As I normally cook all our Indian food from scratch, we have not had takeaway in many years. This is about to change. The flavours were fabulous, the heat did not over power and all dishes were very much enjoyed. We will be calling here again. Thank you for your woundiful service and amazzing food.

I had a really nice takeaway from Ruchi the other day. Beautifully cooked veggi side dishes and really great service. It was easily the best takeaway I have had from Thame in many years. It would have been 5 stars if there were a better selection of veggie main dishes. As it was, I was pretty much limited to ordering side dishes which is ok, but also a slight shame...

Another super takeaway from Ruchi. Easy to order and a quick collection, with a friendly welcome and chat with Becky! The Madras curry heat was perfect and full of flavour and the best onion bajhi's around!

We had our first take-away from here last night and we were very impressed. The food came quickly and the delivery driver was very friendly. The dishes were absolutely delicious and much fresher and less greasy than the food from our usual take-away. Highly recommend and Ruchi is now our favourite Indian take-away!

First take away we've had from here, and it won't be the last! Ordered a pick up takeaway and it was ready promptly, well labelled and still piping hot once home. My son collected the meal and said that the kitchen is visible from the collection area, always a good sign, in my opinion. Reasonably priced, certainly good value and the best onion bhaji we've had in ages!

Disappointing take away, lack of meat content in dishes ordered, £40 inc delivery wasn’t adequate for 3 of us. I won’t be ordering again anytime soon.

We have been using Ruchi since they first opened in Thame. I can honestly say this is the best Indian Take Away for us. We had the set meal for two this evening, perfect portion sizes and not too spicy for me which i am very happy about. Plenty on the menu to suit all tastes 😋

We now have our new favourite Indian restaurant! The food is excellent and I would recommend Ruchi as hands down the best restaurant in the area.

Called at 9.25pm this evening and the food was delivered at 9.40pm. The food was piping hot and tasted great. Had the set meal for 2 with extra naan and it was lovely. So good to have new place on Thame that serves good food and is willing to deliver.

The best curry we've had in a really long time - rich spices, the freshest of salads and clean flavours with no grease or fat - so nice!

Fantastic food, owner is lovely and friendly. Had the set meal for two, which had a tonne of variety for £25. Quite mild but I am white as hell, so they'll probably adjust to preferences.

Lovely staff, super friendly when collecting, amazing comfy seats to sit in while waiting. Food was honestly some of the best curry I think I’ve ever had and I’ve been to atleast 50 different Indian restaurants in my time but this one… this one hits different! Set meal deal for 2 is plenty of food for 2 people as well. I’m a big guy and was hungry going into this by myself. 2 poppadoms (1 onion salad is enough for 2 poppadoms if you like your garnish) and the set meal to myself I can safely say I’ve only eaten half of each dish and I’m stuffed yet the taste makes me keep dipping back in just for a little taste more. I think this has just become my new favourite Indian out there!

We made a large order for delivery, it arrived quickly & we were amazed! Everything was clearly labelled & the food was piping hot, portion sizes are generous & everything was delicious. I find most Indian takeaway has a layer of oil on top of most dishes, but this is not the case from Ruchi. We will definitely order again

We had our second meal from Ruchi last night and decided to go in and look at meet the team rather than have a delivery. Salim and Rebecca were so friendly and helpful we could have spent all evening chatting to them! The kitchen is open so you can see exactly what is going on behind the counter. Salim gave recommendations for dishes based on our tastes and we weren't disappointed. Great quality meat, delicious sauces ( at some restaurants the sauces are greasy but that is definitely NOT the case at Ruchi!) We'll be back!

First time (2nd for my husband) trying Ruchi. Food was very fresh and tasty. I am always conscious about the chicken in Indian restaurants, but the chicken in my starter (tandoori) & Main (jalfrezi) was succulent and good quality. Great to finally have a decent Indian restaurant in Thame (even if it’s just take away for now). Looking forward to next time.

I've had more Indian takeaways in the last 6 weeks then I have in the last 12 years. Great food, not greasy, packed with flavour. Portions could be better and the samosas are in filo and not dough but other then that easily the best Indian I've had in a long time.

What can I say. Absolutely stunning food. Ordered the set menu for two as a anniversary dinner for me and the fiancé. Lady on the phone was new and she done a great job. Really polite and efficient, she said the food was going to be 30-45 mins. It arrived dead on 30 mins after me paying over the phone. Delivery driver was very polite also. Nothing to fault (accept they missed the mango chutney 🤦‍♀️) but that’s minor. Beautiful food and service. Will 100% be a regular. Best I’ve had to date thank you very much also upgraded the naan to cheese naan free of charge for being a new customer. Thanks guys 👌👌

Had takeaway from Ruchi last friday night, Really enjoyed my meal. Great tasting curry, good meat portions and great naan. Front of house and chefs were excellent, nothing better than going to collect your meal and being greeted by friendly smiles. Easily the best Indian in the area and can't wait to go back this Friday.

Distinctly average. Ordered chicken tika byriani but was given chicken byriani. Sheek kebabs with no yoghurt or salad. On the plus side it was fresh as has been said

Just tried Ruchi for the first time tonight, absolutely delicious! All the food was very well cooked, not at all oily and greasy and each dish tasted different, no base sauces used here. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, we will be back very soon!

The best start! Order was Lamb vindaloo, lamb pathia, Bombay potatoes and poppadoms. Vindaloo was great. Nice sauce. Good level of spice. Pleased that I could taste the food rather than just heat which is what I like in a curry. Partner said she finished off the sauce which is unlike her so it must have been pretty good! Easy to order online and nice friendly delivery guy. Great start Ruchi. 👏

A great start with friendly staff, good sized meat portions in flavoursome sauces - very tasty. The restaurant will cater for small private functions with customised menus, rather than being open for the general public - and no alcohol licence. Should be interesting to try. Good luck.
