Best food around by far! Best customer service, Top quality

Very disappointing. Placed an order and waited for 20 minutes to be then told they had no kebab meat left . Carried on taken orders after us . No apology was given . Seems to prioritise online orders . Shan't go back .

Really nice Kebab van, food quality is good, not as salty as other kebab shops. There are many food options, even other sides are yummy as well!

The mixed kebab was divine and the amount of meat was impressive. No skimping here!

A solid effort for kebab, with nice sauces, well made salad and presentation. The chicken kebab was probably one of the let downs, rather than the tradition shawarma style cuts, it was solid mini chunks of chicken which didn’t really go down well with anyone. The menu when ordering online is also extremely confusing. Some pictures would help.

Had a lamb shish kebab delicious with very fresh salad.

It's true that I'd had a few drinks - not many mind you - before going to Atalay's kebab van. I'd heard that it was an award winning business. However, even though I had had a drink or two, I could still taste. The kebab was not only expensive for what it was - £9.40 as I recall - but it was nothing special... indeed, nothing that I'd had elsewhere for half the cost. Very disappointing. And why, as others have stated, does the van not take card? So, if you've nowhere else to eat, are desperate, have cash, then sure Atalay is a destination to head for. But otherwise? Don't waste your time and money - save the calories.

Very tasty and tender chicken loved the donner and the shish really flavorful. Was a pleasure coming here. Take my advice on this as it's my first review if this place wasn't so good I wouldn't be writing this right now. LOVED IT!!

Beautifully made came here the other day with a few friends. Quality was brilliant. Lovely after a night out and want some nice food.

very disappointing this is supposed to be the best in the uk A why do they NOT accept cards this is a 24 hour society we live in even burger vans accept cards my wife had to go and find a cash point which given most towns now dont have banks so it means that there are no cash points so obviously something doggy going on if you only accept cash. B when we got our food home 5 minutes away it was luke warm and not tasty the meat was very thin and sort of crispy and no flavor just not a nice experience

Previously have been very impressed, however there has been a change in the meat used in the Donner kebab, it now tastes very generic, slightly greasy and not particularly special, previously was very 'herby' and not greasy at all, definitely a drop in quality, prices haven't changed so no longer recommended or a must visit when in the area, shame really, Chicken wrap was however excellent and highly recommended 👍🏻

Revisited Atalay's Kebab Van after our own fond memories and their continuing fantastic reviews, however, it wasn't the amazing kebab van we remember. The staff are approachable, friendly, and efficient, but the prices are high and the portion sizes are disappointing. We used to drive for over an hour for their kebabs which used to be herby, well-seasoned, moist and full of flavour, but now it is dry, greasy and tasteless. The chips leave a lot to be desired, but the salad is spot-on. The best thing in our order was the chicken popper wraps with sweet chilli sauce and salad that we got for the kids and they were absolutely delicious, but unfortunately we would not return for what we got.

It’s good good but can’t say it’s the best kebabs I have tried in my life. I have eaten better. Sorry

The large chicken and sheesh kebab I had was delicious, but the amount of actual meat I got was very poor indeed, in fact it looked no bigger than the regular sheesh kebab my friend had, and they’re not cheap! Normally I would give the benefit of doubt in case I was given the wrong order, but can see that others have commented the same.

The best kebab around but unfortunately a large meat and chips seems far too small. For £11 I expected more. 5 dots for taste but one less for portion size.

My son and I went to Atalanta kebab van last night 09/04/2024. We had ordered their lamb shish kebab with salad. Whilst we were waiting one of the lovely twins had cooked us a taster of the lamb. My son and I were in heaven, the lamb was so well marinated and tender with the squeeze of lemon which gave it that lovely citrus kick to combine the flavours. It’s was like a party in my mouth (easy now!). Their food was highly recommended by my colleagues at work and I wanted to give them a go. Please come and check out Atalays kebab van, you won’t be disappointed. Great customer service, great food and I will be back 😂😂

Prices are hiked. Had more meat in a smaller kebab in the past. So higher prices ans smaller portions.

I use to go this place before finishing work. One night I drove from home to collect an order of a portion XL of the Shis Lamb for two as me and my colleague use to buy Medium for each of us. I got there, collected the order, went back home and my big surprise was the size of it, it was in a small polystyrene box. I was fumming because I drove specifially there for this product and the dissappointment was so much that screwed my appetite. I wasn't going to drive back there as I wasn't going to get anything sorted. So I phoned them, and whoever answered the phone said sorry, next time that I go there they will do something for me. I didn't want next time, I WANTED A GOOD SERVICE THAT BLOODY NIGHT. WHAT WAS THE POINT. For the sword blows that they charge for their products they should serve properly, especially when a customer payes extra, £15.00, to make the portion bigger. SO, i would recommend everyone to check your orders in front of them ignoring if the rest have to wait. No going there ever again. Your welcome.

I ordered a ex large but it didn’t seem to be any bigger than the large I had the week before. Having said that it was very nice

Food is always amazing when I get it from here.. it’s hot and tasty and always fresh. The chilli sauce is amazing haven’t had one like it before. Staff are friendly and welcoming and you can tell these guys do an amazing job by how busy they get. I would definitely recommend anyone who thinks of getting Atalays to phone up or order online. I won’t go anywhere else for a kebab!!!

What is better than succulent donner Keflap? A donner keflap you can take on the go! This is the best keflap van I’ve ever visited, the Hangy flaps of keflap meat were very tasty and filled up my very big belly, yummy yummy it is now inside of my tummy! There is nothing better than thick, droopy flaps of meat, I will be returning to suck the juices out of more keflap meat

Simple Menu but the quality is awesome. I travel from West London couple of times a week with friends and family, and do takeaways for work colleagues.. we all love quality of their food. I do take Doner Meat home and create my own version of Doner Meat Masala and it tastes so good So yummy looking like a wow..🤩 Customer Service absolutely fantastic and so polite. I am their regular customer. Thank you Atalay for feeding us. One little suggestion if you could add Gluten Free wrap that will be awesome for us. See you shortly Harry.

The best kebabs around , Delicious meats , crisp fresh salads and sauces to die for all served by a team of ultra friendly guys .

Very disappointed. Waited 45 minutes cost nearly £90 and it absolutely wasn’t worth it. One chicken shish, pitta and chips with garlic chill mayo - came with no sauce and 7 chips , yes 7 chips , also lukewarmwhen we complained , we ended up with a few more but they had taken the pitta out and still no sauce only warm thing was the handful of extra chips. Ordered a mixed kebab and chips - no chips , had already driven away by the time we realised. The rest of the food was pretty bland and dry. Wouldn’t recommend. Had better cheaper kebabs with half the wait time elsewhere.

Was told 15 mins for food 45 mins later still standing and waiting got refund !

Voted best kebab van … not sure how ? Drove 40mins to try this award winning van , but was very disappointed, price are high and quantity is small . Meat average, plus I could hardly eat the pitta bread it was so tough, my jaw was hurting. My daughter kebab had 2 slices of cucumber.. My local kebab van is taste better….gives a larger portion at a better priced . So sorry….

Tell you it will be 40 mins…. But it’s an hour in reality. Why does it take one hour?? The salad is already chopped and the bread is shop bought… Not worth the wait for a takeaway. No app, no card payments. All in all a frustrating service

Food is excellent, service is equally excellent but for a cash only establishment their mental arithmetic could be improved and they sometimes struggle to differentiate between £20 notes and £10 notes so be vigilant about how much you give them, how much your bill is and how much change they hand over.

Blooming expensive for a donner kebab but the meat and salad are both very fresh! Give yourself an hour in the queue if you’re going at dinner time as it gets super busy, not complaining just making aware. You can also call ahead to pre-order and then collect. You could actually eat this as a dinner not just a greasy take out!

Judging by the number of times it has won the award in the past few years, I'm not the only one to think so. And the queues each night show just how popular it is with the locals. Food is made to order - not just dished up from trays, so it's piping hot and fresh. As well as kebabs they do outstanding burgers

Totally shocked when my Ulster Bank Northern Ireland £10 sterling note was refused in the award winning fast food trailer in Thame Oxfordshire. Uk. The embarrassment was awful and I then had to pay by card for my order. Northern Ireland and Scotland are very much a part of the Uk 🇬🇧. When I questioned my they would not accept UK sterling the reply was” we find it hard to pass on to our suppliers “. What’s wrong with passing it on to your bank who I’m 100% certain will have no issues confirming British pound Sterling? Embarrassed, shocked and disappointed by the food which I was not surprised by as I watched the staff prepare it while sharing jokes about what I had experienced.

Due to the amount of orders i had to wait 20 minutes but wow was it worth the wait. Great food and not just for after a beer too.

Food is always good, popcorn chicken is our fave, however the salad is now very stingy. Put more salad on, its an inexpensive addition! Also our last three orders have been wrong in some way, which annoyingly we only discover once we’ve driven all the way home and opened it all up.

Thought I would give it a try considering the long queue and reviews. TBH I was not that impressed with the Doner wrap flavour and quality I got that day. The salad tasted fresh but expected better overall. They forgot to put the chilli source inside. Will maybe give the other fresh kebabs ago next time. The staff there are really friendly and helpful so 5 star for them.

Waited an hour for food and when we got it my wife found raw chicken in her meal and my kebab meat was almost cold

What can I say. After hearing about this kebab place thought we would give it a go. Absolutely amazing. My only negative comment would be that you don’t get more. Or maybe I should just order two because it was beautiful. I have never tasted chicken so good on a crisp nan bread. Soft chicken with a char with the right amount of sauce, The salad was fresh and was piping hot even after a 15 minute car drive back to out lodge in chinnor. The spice on the chicken was just right . The price was £20.20 for two kebabs and two soft drinks. You get what you pay for. QUALITY Didn’t take a picture because we ate it too quick

Enjoyable but at the end of the day it is a donee kebab.

This has always been the best kebab van by far. More pricey than other kebab vans but was always so worth it. Used to come here a lot but due to 30-60 minute waits standing in the cold and the phone being almost impossible to get through to preorder we stopped going. However really fancied it tonight and managed to get through on the phone so ordered and I'm honestly so disappointed. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down, cold kebab wrap that was spilling out everywhere on opening, full mouthfuls of saucy lettuce at the top and no salad at all at the bottom. Crispy dark burnt chunks of donna meat. Could only eat just over half of it cause it just wasn't enjoyable. £8.90 for a small wrap that I couldn't even finish and ended hungry! Absolutely will not be coming back, dont know if it was just a bad order or if its gone downhill but really gutting considering how great the food used to be from here.

Ordered food, drove 15 minutes to get there & then back to open up the packets to find the wrong things in our meal, clearly didn’t listen on the phone..! Although the packaging had the correct order on it. Went back to get a new order & the young girl that works behind the over sized van was so rude & was making me & shouting things at me as I walked off. Rude & terrible customer service. Very over priced for what you get…! Too be honest the food didn’t look that good either was all burnt & thrown together. Ended up putting it in the bin. Will never use again & I hope others will see this & chose to go somewhere else.

Single handedly the best kebab shop by far, and I've been to a fair few around the UK. I travel a good 35 minutes for this at least once a month! Friendly service as well. Can wait a good hour if you order at the van itself so I'd always suggest ordering via the website on their FB page.

You need to go here. It’s popular for a reason, well worth the wait.

Hands down the best kebab I've had!!! any kebab lover will not be disappointed. Only thing which is not negative but just something to bare in mind, due to the popularity there is usually a 20 min wait but thats not bad considering there is a pub across the road for a cheeky pint while you wait.

Me & my friend went here last night ordered one burger and one kebab & too drink’s it take over 1 hour to long to wait it was nice food but I it’s a long time to wait it’s more of click & collect now

We get food from here at least twice a month. Yes you have to wait a while or call through but it is the best! I have a popcorn wrap and it’s so tasty! despite reviews, I think that the portion sizes are quite big! Would recommend 100%

I find the food very over rated . First kebab was very dry . Tried one recently which was much better but didn’t have any salad in which we had ordered . . So a disappointing £30 spent .

Great chicken kebabs and fantastic staff

Such lovely kebabs and friendly staff. Food is always hot when given to you and kebab is tasty. Just ensure you get your order in early or wait until the later evening before ordering! Otherwise, expect a long wait!

Very long wait, was nice but not as good as the abingdon kebab van.

Very good kebab! I would advise not to get the salad in the same box otherwise the meat gets cold, apart from that excellent quality.
