Best bacon sandwich ever. Nice to have cafetière coffee!!

Not impressed. Cold in the conservatory. Had the haddock, batter raw on the inside. 15% added to the bill without asking if the food was okay

Consistently good. Freshly cooked light meals, decent coffee and friendly service. Bike parking in the garden too. A great alternative to Riverside nearby

Great spot for a little family lunch. Sandwiches & cakes are delicious, nice surroundings & friendly staff. There’s also a box of books for kids to amuse themselves with. Not inexpensive but lovely for a treat.

Lovely cafe. Upscale and comfortable in the lovely village of Benson. Excellent food and beverage. As well, I inadvertently left my scarf at our table. They found it and held into it until I could return the next day. Kudos.

Couldn't get to the place to even try as it's on the RAF Benson site, no access allowed

Came for Sunday lunch today 24/11/2024, 5 of us dined. Service from all was impeccable 👌 Food absolutely divine and a good choice of drinks. Went with the 12 days porter by Hook brewery and has a wonderful hours.

Really nice pub tucked away but very popular. Welcome was brilliant just as we opened the door. Great atmosphere throughout the pub / restaurant. Choices on menu brilliant and quality top class food. Would defo come here again.

This plaice was a family 'go to' at one point. We couldn't believe the quality and quantity of the food. Sadly no more. Great portions IF YOU COLLECT. But do not, really do not order a delivery. Our experience was at best tepid food delivered half an hour before the requested delivery time. So, while we waited for people to arrive, it all congealed in a warm oven. If it is on the website that the delivery is that random, I missed it. Apologies. So. Collection only. Otherwise, take your chances.

We decided on the spur of the moment to pop in for a meal as we were shopping in Wallingford. We were warmly welcomed and a table was found for us even though it was busy. Our meals were brought through quickly and were perfectly cooked,even my partners steak which he likes VERY rare. We were amazed how large the portions were too. A really nice meal at a good value price.We will be back.

This place delivered me the worst food I have ever eaten most of it went straight into the trash where it should have gone Horrible thick greasy batter chicken curry was like dishwater The only thing that was half decent from our entire order was the curry spring rolls will definitely never use this place ever again or recommend it to anyone

Having visited half a dozen pubs looking for a Saturday night meal without noise, rowdy football fans etc we tried the courtyard at The George. Lovely setting. Quiet and comfortable. A superb spaghetti carbonara and veggie lasagne were perfect and amazing value. All delivered up by a delightful lady from the north east. A perfect evening.

Had a great take away last night , Sham and his team always deliver excellent food…I must recommend the chilli and garlic fried rice it is superb. Thanks Sham and his Team 👍
