This place delivered me the worst food I have ever eaten most of it went straight into the trash where it should have gone Horrible thick greasy batter chicken curry was like dishwater The only thing that was half decent from our entire order was the curry spring rolls will definitely never use this place ever again or recommend it to anyone

Massively let down by the kebab I just ordered. Lack of salad, asked for extra sauce and he drowned it in cheap chilli sauce - money wasted.

Used to have the best cod and chips. Now totally rubbish, very few chips in large fish and chips, greasy thick batter, really disgusting .

BAD!!! What the hell is going on here with the quality of food ??? It's gone down to ZERO...Just over 1 year ago, I had my very first 'Da Boss Burger' here. It was 'Absolutely Fantastic'. I had my very last one here Friday night, 14th June 2024. First, it was missing 1 Burger, should have had 2. Second, hard Tomato and Crap Lettuce, totally Not Good! Chips as well not good, like they were from hours ago! WHY. So sad to see a once excellent business change to a Crap Business...This is how and why they Close, Permanently.

THE VILLAGE PLAICE IN ASHLAND, MILTON KEYNES is the Best Chippy we have found in MK! Once again we ordered for the Central MK W.I Birthday Party and the order was checked, confirmed and ready for collection at exactly the right time. Excellent service and delicious food. Highly recommended.

We’ve had some brilliant fish and chips here and somw not so good. Medium and large fish’s are exactly the same size in our experience so don’t bother paying extra for large. Tonight’s offering was poor, small undercooked fish and a mountain of overcooked chips...

I have had fish and chips from the village plaice many times now, most chippies are dreadful this is not one of them!

I always get a takeaway from here and it’s always good. The fish is fresh and chips are delicious! Although the portion sizes of the chips are far too big, always end up wasting so much which is a Shame!

Rang and placed an order for delivery but was told it would be 1.30-1.45 wait so decided to collect as only 5 minutes away. Collected order and was surprised to see no waiting customers and 6 members of staff. Drove home to discover no chips...

We just fancy Fish and chips and luckily this is our local fish shop. Food is always freshly cooked, batter is crisp and light and the chips are never soggy. Service is really quick and friendly even during their busiest times!

It was their Thatcham branch I visited. Large fish was no bigger than any standard fish anywhere else. The batter was greasy and heavy, and yet rock hard in places! Chips were chewy and tough. It wasn't cheap either. I do not recommend this place.

They have a bad habit of leaving the phone off the hook if they are busy, which is extremely annoying if you then have to hang around waiting for an item that needs to be fried for 15 minutes when you could have just called...

Really nice, fresh cooked, hot food. Ok so you have to wait a little longer and maybe pay a few pence more but, it's worth it. Chip portions a tad on the small side compared to some places, nonetheless, still good food.

Food was very great. service very good the staff are very frendly! Like paul said on his review that the fish looked factory maide that is impossible because they always cook the fish every time fresh in front of the cosrumer so u can see for your self about the chips i dont think they were like that because ive been one of there costumers for nearly a year now and every one talks very good about their chips and all food! Love their food and will keep on going there excelent service and food highly recommended!!!
