Each time I come to No.25, I try a different toastie. I love soughdough, and the fillings are interesting and tasty. My husband sticks to the Goat toastie every time! Its got such a great vibe too, what a fab place to chill.

Great spot for a little family lunch. Sandwiches & cakes are delicious, nice surroundings & friendly staff. There’s also a box of books for kids to amuse themselves with. Not inexpensive but lovely for a treat.

What a fabulous little cafe this is. Shame I don’t live nearer. We met here for coffee before a walk in Ewelme. We had intended to go for a pub lunch afterwards, but returned here as it was so nice. Fantastic array of homemade cakes, plus toasties and jackets for lunch. Good example of how doing a small range very well is better than a mediocre long menu.

A delightful cafe serving that rare thing…..proper coffee! It is stylish and welcoming, spotlessly clean and a very tempting selection of cakes and pastries. We shared a delicious carrot cake…..we are only visiting the area but wish that is was nearer home….

Visited No 25 for lunch, coffee & cake. Excellent food and service in a relaxed environment with good children's menu and baby changing facilities. We lived in Benson 10 years ago and this is without a doubt a superb addition to the village. We will be back!

I don’t know why I haven’t reviewed this place before as it’s a real treat. Our daughter lives in Benson so when ever we want to catch up with her or go on a walk we end up here. The owners are lovely and very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. Such a lovely friendly atmosphere. You can sit inside or out. The food is very good and so is the coffee. There are always very nice homemade cakes available. A great place for coffee and cake or lunch.

First visit and was not disappointed Impressed by the decor and the outside floral display on the window front - great atmosphere and a warm welcome by a lovely guy (possibly the owner) Staff are friendly and the food is tasty and well presented. And very reasonably priced. Bravo team at No.25 we will certainly be back.

Phil & Steph have added to the already fab village of Benson with a perfect cafe on the High Street. Great breakfasts, outdoor seating, wonderful coffee and cakes, but all delivered with a warm and friendly welcome from a great team. I'd recommend the flat white as spot on, doughnuts are a treat every Thursday with a range of changing flavours, and it honestly could not be better.

An excellent option for a quick light lunch while on a cycle ride. Very pleasant to sit inside out of the sun on a very hot day, but with all the frontage open to the breeze. The Flatbread salad was good. Excellent coffee. My friends approved of the ice cream. We were well looked after. We will be back.

Visited this local cafe to support local business and was bitterly disappointed. Over priced poor quality food, roast beef flatbread was packaged processed beef of poor quality, drowning in rocket and beetroot on a stale flat bread. It is disgraceful to charge £2.20 for a...

This cosy little cafe does THE best sweet treats and cakes. They are home made and would definitely get a Paul Hollywood hand shake. Friendly customer service and lovely coffee to match. Could not recommend more.

Coffee was great, but food overpriced. I went in for lunch, not much choice so had and as it was pricy, ordered a sausage roll with coffee.

We decided on Sunday morning to try the Red Lion for lunch, and booked a table for 1330. We arrived and were met by efficient staff who were expecting us and offered us a choice of table. Drinks were ordered from a knowledgeable waiter and arrived quickly, mine being a very well-kept pint from tge local Amwell Springs brewery. We both chose beef from an extremely well thought-out menu which again arrived after only a short wait. The meat was beautifully cooked and presented on a large plate with very well cooked greens, carrots and a freshly-made Yorkshire puddings. Sides of cauliflower cheese and roast potatoes were excellent, probably the best roasties I've had, and the horseradish was similarly delicious. We both cleared our plates and the side dishes. Utterly gorgeous, go and see for yourself.

Really nice warm individual atmosphere. Food was great and just what we needed before a long day the following. We overnight-ed in room 3 which had everything needed. I Managed to run an international meeting at 0600 so wifi was strong. Breakfast next day was really good and ready when we asked for it. Highly recommend The Fat Fox if you want to dodge the corporate bs and feel like a name not a number.

I had the Korai Kabab Khyberi and although it was presentable and looked as though it was going to be full of flavour, it turned out to be very bland. There was no depth to the taste like there usually is with these types of dishes and the chicken definitely hadn't been marinated long enough (or at least it tasted that way). All very nice ambience and the service was relatively good but if the food isn't tasty then everything else pales into insignificance. Maybe the chef just had an "off-night" or maybe because it's the only tandoori in Streatley meant there isn't competition to keep them on their toes - I'm hoping it's the former.
