Had cappuccino offee and a cake. Coffee was poor (bitter, small), cake was ok. Had to go up to collect cake after coffees had been brought to table without. Cost moderate but not a lot less than much better nearby. Hopefully was off day, but they will have to up their game to attract me in again.

First timer. Very nice food, although the teeny tiny portion of veggies accompanying my Very nice beef was disappointing. A bit of cabbage, a slice of parsnip... Friendly service on arrival. Waited ages for lunch to arrive. It was a bit like Deliveroo when it did. The (different) server did not speak. No "is there anything else I can get you," "Sorry to have kept you waiting", smile etc. At these prices, quality service is something that cannot be gotten wrong. I usually ask for optional service to be removed on occasions like this, but it's Christmas. Would I go again? Yes, but possibly not at a busy time.

a charming little spot that delivers solid Italian cuisine. The pizza was undoubtedly the highlight—flavorful and well-prepared, making it a must-try. However, the starter parmigiana portion was notably small, which might leave some diners wanting more. Service was impressively quick, though it’s worth noting the restaurant was empty during my visit, which might have contributed to the speed. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, it is a cute little restaurant Overall, Prelibato is a good choice for pizza lovers, but it could benefit from slightly larger portions

A really nice Thai restaurant. We went to the Beaconsfield branch. Very unique decor and a welcoming team of servers. We were seated upstairs on a Friday night with charming open beam ceiling. Food was very fresh and overall tasty! Tended to be a bit spicy for my palate but everyone else really enjoyed it.

I have been to Brasserie Blanc many times, the staff are always polite, professional and friendly, nice atmosphere and the food in the main is very good, there were 7 people in our party this time and 3 of us had the steak bavette, we all found the bavette was a little too chewy, I have had this steak several times before and always found it perfect in the past. But as usual a very enjoyable experience.

Exceptional Dining Experience at The Greyhound Pub I wanted to share my incredible dining experience at The Greyhound Pub in Beaconsfield, which truly deserves all five stars for their outstanding offerings. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and I was greeted by the friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcomed right away. To start, I indulged in their chicken liver parfait, which was nothing short of exquisite. Paired beautifully with brioche and delightful pink peppercorns, the flavors melded together in a way that had me savoring each bite. After such a marvelous starter, the main course was a perfect follow-up – a turkey cooked to perfection, accompanied by the most delicious pigs in blankets and crisp roast potatoes that just melted in my mouth. The meal was further elevated by the pub’s extensive wine list, showcasing an impressive selection that catered to all tastes. I was thrilled to find a beautiful wine that perfectly complemented my meal, enhancing the overall experience. To top it off, I ordered the espresso martini, which I've deemed the best I’ve ever tasted – a delightful conclusion to a wonderful meal. I must commend the staff for their impeccable service. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made several excellent recommendations, ensuring my visit was nothing short of perfect. This level of attentiveness is rare and truly adds to the charm of The Greyhound Pub. Thank you for a remarkable evening. I look forward to my next visit!

Wonderful meal, went on Travelzoo voucher for 5 course tasting menu. Waiters were charming and attentive, food was imaginative and tasty served at good intervals. This is a cut above the usual kind of Indian restaurant and definitely in the fine dining category. We went in the evening midweek so it wasn't over busy which suited us. As I'd not read the terms of the voucher properly I was subject to a surcharge for evening dining which did bump the price up quite a bit, but that was my error and I still feel I paid a fair price for what we got.

We were visiting Beaconsfield and opted to have dinner at Royal Saracens Head. What a lovely experience we had, it was pretty busy but the staff pr.vided us an outstanding service , hats off for them. I really like my food and I believe my friends as well, as we were satisfied, and stayed there for quite late. It was nice evening, and for sure when back in Beaconsfield , I will visit it again.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in a long time. The staff were attentive, the dishes were so tasty and fresh. The menu offered a variety of classic curry's, traditional dishes and chef specials. We also popped outside as we were intrigued by the huge outdoor area at the back, I look forward to dining in the summer! They didn't have any cocktails available but a wide selection of wines and spirits.

Have had some mixed experiences here. Pizzas are generally pretty good, the service is really random. Sometimes they’re on it, other times the young waiters are clueless. Attention to detail on orders, they forgot one of our orders completely! Also later, they forgot to get the drinks we ordered. Just need better training for the waiters, they need to be more attentive. You’re almost there! But you just fall short of 4 stars.

We were seated in what seemed to be the "bar area" of the restaurant, so in a thoroughfare and right next to a large group of loud drinkers by the fireplace. On arrival no one offered to take coats, so I had to ask, and the servers weren't aware we were having the seven course signature menu, even though that was the booking. When I asked about a wine flight for the tasting menu they said they had none - the sommelier even told me that wine going with food was unnecessary nowadays and there were "no rules" to what to drink. Er yes, but wine should complement a menu - that's nothing to do with whether you want red or white. He seemed to think we should pick one or the other, when usually you begin with white and move onto red as the menu moves to meat. We were absolutely given the impression that the food here is very secondary to the "style", and the service was certainly patchy in the same manner, ranging from over-friendly to utterly dismissive. I had been gifted a voucher, and I'm not sure if that had anything to do with the lack of attention, but we had 5 minutes between the first few courses and then a full hour between 3 and 4 - not good. Quality-wise it was certainly the worst tasting menu I have ever had in terms of flavour, balance and portion size. It began with 2 large balls of arancini on a piece of paper, but in the low lighting it was impossible to tell, cue a mouth full of paper - why? Followed by a large beef carpaccio served with a big slice of burnt toast - again why? Then onto scallops, which were ok, and then a big bowl of slimy truffle linguine, yet more cheese and carbs ... it was rather like a pile of comfort pub food shovelled at us, one course after the other - no vegetables, no balance, no complexity, no technical skill. Then it was straight into yet more meat with pork as the main. I felt unpleasently full by this point and my tastebuds hadn't been ignited at all. The palate cleanser was a welcome change, and then the dessert was appropriately small, as other courses should have been, and actually the only enjoyable course. Finally the bill was extremely opaque, with charges for the champagne and tasting menu, but then discounts subtracted that didn't match ... rather impossible in the lowlight to make sense of it, plus a 13.5% service charge. Looking at it today I believe we were overcharged, but lesson learned. A place to go for a drink perhaps, definitely not for a tasting menu.
