Last weekend, I had the pleasure of dining at Riwaz in Beaconsfield with my family. I always look forward to experiencing new Indian culinary delights in UK, and Riwaz did not disappoint at all. Thanks to Mr. Kochhar for walk the talk his well earned Michelin standard. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was inviting and elegant. The decor is modern yet warm, creating a perfect setting for a family dinner. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and were attentive throughout our meal, ensuring we were comfortable and well taken care of. Our experience at Riwaz was exceptional. The food was of the highest quality, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was perfect for a family outing. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality and experience justify the cost. I highly recommend Riwaz to anyone looking for an exquisite dining experience. Free parking was one of the plus too.

I had higher expectations, drove from Milton Keynes for this "amazing" food, where's my local take away tastes 10x better and for a lower price. The chicken in the starter was nice but the main was tasteless. Had chicken thigh instead of chicken breast and it tasted like boiled chicken added into a "butter sauce" that reminded me of the canned tomato soup I had at university. With the butter chicken, we only got 3 tiny pieces of chicken and 1 small portion of rice between 2 people. Desert was average. Service was ok, but disappointed with not being offered/asked for papadums and dips like every other table had (where there were 3 or more people). I take it if only 2 people dine, it is not being offered...first ever Indian restaurant where that has happened to me. I understand it was a 3 course meal, but the portions sizes and quality, unfortunately, did not meet expectations. Ps. If you need to use the restroom, make sure you have enough strength to push through. It was defective and made it very difficult to go in and out.

Last minute decision to eat out on Saturday. The food was good and had great flavours. Service was pretty good too. Everyone smiled. The only issue is that the table that we chose was fine up until just before we finished the mains when the air conditioning was put on. We were so cold that we had goosebumps. Not great and we got out as quickly as we could after our dessert. Not a good end to the dinner.

Okay, Atul has created a wonderful menu and restaurant in Beaconsfield. The establishment was ridiculously quiet and empty for a Thursday night. Food was good, the dhal was banging (as usual). The lamb (£7 surcharge) could have done with more spices and also maybe sear the meat before adding to sauce! One star lost for this. 12.5% "auto" service charge - discretionary or not - unacceptable. Let the paying public decide themselves. This charge also included the gift voucher cost! ANOTHER star lost for this shoddy practice.

Having incredibly conflicting feelings about this place... Completely overpriced yet INCREDIBLY tasty food, the flavours are unheard of! However, there is a MAJOR elephant in the room - the price of each dish. Everything was within £12-18 so was to a very premium range but the taste justified it. Special recommendations for the dal makhani and the paneer tikka which really stood out amongst the crowd. Service was incredible (our server Rajat really added to the atmosphere) and the ambience was really inviting. Overall, a major thumbs up if you are willing to pay for what the food's worth.

We were lucky to be treated to the taster menu here and the food didn't disappoint. The service was A* but that may of just been due to the fact that the restaurant was very quiet. The only thing that let this restaurant down was the 2 * toilets, wet floor signs chucked under the sinks with easily accessible cleaning products not what you expect from a high end establishment, certainly not a family friendly bathroom.

This was our first visit to Riwaz and we had an excellent meal from the set lunch menu which included some dishes we wouldn’t normally have tried but I’m glad we did! All courses were cooked to perfection, seasoned just right and the flavours were mouthwatering - portion size was also just right, we were pleasantly full at the end of the meal. Cocktails were also delicious and the Black Muscat dessert wine was a wonderful new discovery. Service was exemplary - just the right amount of attentiveness and friendliness. While it may be considered to be an “upmarket” restaurant, we thought our meal was very good value for money. Surprisingly, the restaurant was barely half full at the time we visited - with food and service this good it should be packed out all the time. We’ve already booked to go back very soon.

Visited this restaurant without having booked for a Saturday lunch. They were busy - or were with booked tables later than we had arrived-but happily accommodated us. The greeting was friendly and the restaurant was bright, airy and had a good atmosphere. We had drinks promptly and the menus and any descriptions about the food were handled professionally and quickly by our waiter/s. The food was excellent, came well cooked, beautifully seasoned- as one would expect- and the portion sizes were more than adequate. The flavours of the sauces that came with my halibut were really good. Subtle but there, still allowing the chance to taste the main food element. The skin on my fish was good and crispy. We really wanted to try at least one of the more obscure sounding deserts but neither of us could manage the third course unfortunately. Toilets were clean and well presented. We will return soon.

Over priced, small portions and awful wine. We ordered Gosht Beaab. £20. It was a bowl of bland tasting curry sauce with 5 tiny pieces of lamb the size of sugar cubes. No depth of flavour. We ordered a mixed grill £21. which consisted of 1 prawn. 1 tiny finger bite of salmon. 1 tiny finger bite of chicken, 1 tiny finger bite of lamb and 1 tiny single broccoli stem. Too small to share. Quite tasty though. We ordered a mix vegetables dish which was laughable. It arrived in a tiny copper pan that any steak restaurant would deliver your pepper sauce in. The worst part of the meal was the £41 a bottle olive grove Australia Chardonnay. It tasted like a £4.50 cheap bottle of plonk off the bottom shelf of a supermarket. We ordered a rice to try and soak up some curry sauce but it wasn’t tasty so left it. The bill for the 2 of us came to £113. So disappointed especially when it’s supposed to be by an award winning chef. We won’t be going back

As we searched restaurants around Beaconsfield, we chanced upon Riwaz and chose to head here for an impromptu date night. We reserved at the last moment but got a table easily. Once welcomed and seated in, we get to absorb the quaint and modern ambience. As we look into the menus, we are served Pappadums with Chutneys. Once the choices were decided, we ordered the Tangra Prawns, Gosht Ke Kofte, Naan with Gosht Be Aab and Chicken Biryani with a Kesar Aam Bellini to go along. While we were waiting for food, we got a complimentary Chickpea Cheesecake from the Chef that just melts for every bite. The Tangra Prawns were a sweet and sour crunchy bite. Gosht Ke Kofte was lamb cutlets served juicy and tender. The Biryani had mild flavors with a frothy raita to complement. The Naan was flaky and went great with the Gosht Be Aab that had a subtle coconuty flavor. The Kesar Aam Bellini was a bit bitter for my taste but the Mango Bite was a nostalgic hit. For the Dessert we ordered the Chocolate Orange Mousse which was a creamy mousse topped with bits of candied orange peels and a layer of orange gel. Overall, a good experience and probably somewhat okay in the pocket as well for being a fine dine.

The reception was friendly. We were the first in. Had the place to ourselves to start. Service was ok but not paced. For example, had to wait for drinks. Had to call someone over to order. Had to ask for the bill. Lots of different people serving. A young lady also serving who struggled to communicate and interact. appreciate English may not be her native tongue but engaging with customers would help with this. Food was good. We had a set menu. It had a Christmas theme with Indian style food. Chicken dippers with mint since and poppodoms, samosas, lamb curry and turkey with rice and daahl and mincemeat samosas to finish. Supplemental for naan, samosas, lamb, etc. 2 alcoholic drinks, sparkling water, coke bill came to 115 which was a bit steep considering the service. Annoying music on loop had no bearing on environment hence low points. Not a destination restaurant would stick to marlow if had to choose.

We recently celebrated a birthday and anniversary at Riwaz, run by Chef Atul Kochhar, and it was fantastic. Booking the same day was surprisingly easy, and we found a parking spot right outside. Walking in, the place had a really warm and inviting feel. We got a great welcome and were seated immediately. What I really liked was how quickly they took our order - no waiting around. We decided to try the six-course vegetarian taster menu, and it was a hit - both in looks and taste. The cocktails were a bit fruitier than I usually like, but still good. The place got pretty busy, but the staff handled it like pros. They kept our meal moving along without any hitches. Kerelan chicken was sickly sweet, we could not finish the portion. Ordered the milk cake for dessert and I think this is one of the worst desserts I have ever had. A good place to go for their lunch menu. Very satisfying and the price is very reasonable for the great food provided. The atmosphere was comfortable. I went at 12 when it opened and after the meal, I turned around to see the restaurant was nearly full.

Tried the tasting menu, overall a good experience except for the chicken dish which didn't seem like a tandoori chicken, prepared in a real tandoor.

Friendly and decidedly upmarket feel. Food is fabulous and certainly from the top draw. You must try the taster menu in particular with the accompanying wines.

Amazing Food - Great Service. Had the John Dory starter followed by the Halibut as a main. Both were beautifully cooked and presented, subtle in spices allowing you to taste the main ingredient. Thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Staff were friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Superb! Best fusion for my taste buds from Indian Cuisine. 100% recommend the restaurant in Beaconsfield, easy to reach by car, bus (101 & 102 bus) and by train Chiltern Line. No excuse not to go to experience the best Indian in town!

We had a lovely time and felt looked after. The food was excellent and the flavours beautifully balanced. I do think it was quite highly priced.

Very very poor service….highly unprofessional staff. Not attentive - and appeared to be rude. One of them was clearly in a bad mood the manner he was taking the order. Another guy smelled of cigarettes (appeared to be the manager). NOT COMING BACK AGAIN.

Excellent Indian meal, interesting Nd most definitely not the usual menu. Had brilliantly cooked venison loin, prices were reasonable we felt.

Wonderful restaurant. Excellent food. Great service and a beautiful ambience. The team clearly know good service can cost very little but is worth a great deal. Food was lovely. The beer selection from Belgium is worth a trip on its own. The wine collection is a great trip around the world.

Visited today and made to feel very welcome by Kasia who went off site to get coffee for us. Very accommodating and knowledgeable of the local area . Only wish I wasn’t driving so could have tried a guest ale or two! Heartfelt customer service and cookie the pooch was the icing on the cake . Thank you
