The best restaurants in Tolsford Shepway South East

Had the most amazing 5 course menu with wine paring. Just so perfect and delicious and yet not overly full. A real treat would highly recommend if you want be spoilt rotten! Lighting could be improved though to reflect the quality of the food and the service !

Have visited before and found the food reasonably good. Today however the fish and chips were poor. Cheap grey fish and “homefries” as the Americans would say ie chips with skin on like fried jacket potatoes not chunky chips. Bar lady friendly and obliging. Pretty fairy lights and plenty of dogs too. It is awkward to say anything when one is with friends.

I doubt the quality and authenticity of the chicken, the meat is suspect. I threw up everything.

After walking round the country park we called in for lunch and a very good lunch it was. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and there's plenty of, mainly healthy, choices on the menu, including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. The portion sizes are ample and are very good value for money. There's seating both inside and outside and, although dogs are only allowed outside, they are made to feel very welcome. Car parking (pay and display and single fee for the whole day) and clean toilets are nearby. Can certainly recommend.

My name is Thomas, and I just want to say this place is amazinng, before I get started I just want to say I only do reviews for places that realy incredbely inpress me. as soon as I walked in one of the lovely staff members called sahrah kindly offerd me a coktail. It was lovely, in adition the costomer service is amazing. To sum this all up Etchinghill Golf Club is amazing I want to say thank to all the staff wich were there serving us wich was: 1. Harley 2. If you are lucky enough to be served by an Angel, you will have a great experience here. By that, I mean we arrived just before the restaurant closed for the day and the lady called Angel was just so kind, friendly and keen to make our day that we not only enjoyed the food, we went away feeling uplifted and blessed.

Restauration horrible digne d'un fast food des bas quartier. Heureusement la quantité dérisoire vous évite, la plus part du temps, une intoxication alimentaire. Et tout ça, à un prix exorbitant bien-sûr. À éviter de toutes urgences si vous tenez à votre santé.

We always buy a Starbucks before heading to the train. Drinking it on the top car park or in the train dependingon our timing.

Ridiculous prices for poor quality : £13.40 for an iced pumpkin spice oat espresso and an allegedly "5 cheese toastie", tasteless, not toasted enough and one of the bread sliced slided away, the bread was stale and no butter was used...

It was the only restaurant open, so I ordered the Angus cheeseburger and fries , There was a short wait before I was given a bag with the food inside. It was less than £10 so I really wasn't expecting much. The burger was much smaller than it looked in the photo, with a few (10 or 12 )fries. The burger tasted like it may have had some smoked sauce flavour, it was like burnt cardboard. It was not even tepid, the Burger was cold, I threw it away. My very low expectations were exceeded, I have never been served such dreadful food anywhere. Buy a sandwich from the newsagents or the Starbucks next door.

Come down to Hythe on a regular basis, bringing my touring caravan down to the Romney Marsh. If I’m a bit early than the time I’m allowed on site I try to get in and have a drink and something to eat, but can never get on the caravan parking bay as selfish drivers park their cars and lorries on it, and generally in the middle so nobody with caravans can use it. Not big enough bay anyway. Only a small strip. Should signpost it more clearly CARAVANS ONLY.

Very rude staff who gets annoyed bc you asked for ice in your drink but they never have ice here (been before) So you get a tepid coke. Burger was cold and full of mayo actually gross . Think this the worst Burger King I have ever experienced. Also someone was waiting for their food and it seems it was stolen by someone else!!! Euro tunnel should shut them down. I think McDonald’s would be better.

Awful! Awful! Awful! Precooked soggy,tasteless food and watery coffee. Please don’t bother as the only reason this dump is still trading is because the queues for other eateries are longer. Disgusting!

I echo the views on here. The food is extremely disappointing. Cardboard would taster better.
