M20 Folkestone Services in Shepway

Come down to Hythe on a regular basis, bringing my touring caravan down to the Romney Marsh. If I’m a bit early than the time I’m allowed on site I try to get in and have a drink and something to eat, but can never get on the caravan parking bay as selfish drivers park their cars and lorries on it, and generally in the middle so nobody with caravans can use it. Not big enough bay anyway. Only a small strip. Should signpost it more clearly CARAVANS ONLY.

Very average range of services and fats food shops. Fairly well maintained but no atmosphere. Essential for stop but nothing more.

Not sure what I thought. It can't be described as a motorway services per se and appeared to be more geared for coach parties using the "Chunnel". There are eateries here and centrally placed tables and food was bought and consumed. There are 2 hour free parking facilities if you are early for your train here and need to use the toilets.

Full of Foreign trucks, couldn't get parked, security told me they were full, THEN let 2 Foreign trucks behind me in to park in the coach park. Won't be pulling in there again

I don't know whether or not I stopped on half-closing day but most of the outlets were either closed or unoccupied. The toilets were clean enough and there was plenty of seating available (there were not that many people using the services) but the only coffee available was from a machine in a convenience store near to the entrance.
