Burger King - Eurotunnel Terminal in Shepway

It was the only restaurant open, so I ordered the Angus cheeseburger and fries , There was a short wait before I was given a bag with the food inside. It was less than £10 so I really wasn't expecting much. The burger was much smaller than it looked in the photo, with a few (10 or 12 )fries. The burger tasted like it may have had some smoked sauce flavour, it was like burnt cardboard. It was not even tepid, the Burger was cold, I threw it away. My very low expectations were exceeded, I have never been served such dreadful food anywhere. Buy a sandwich from the newsagents or the Starbucks next door.

What a shambles. Waited 20 minutes for 2 items. Others complaining about missing their trains, looked like bedlam behind the scenes with nobody knowing what they were doing. Fancied the chicken fries with spicy dip - in the end were rushing for the train so grabbed the bag and ran, only to find, too late, no spicy dip! And the katsu curry sandwich thing was VILE! At £14 for those 2 bits we won't be rushing back! Definitely airport prices.

Website advises it’s open as does twitter it isn’t this is poor when you’ve travelled with family on a long journey . Only duty free and Starbucks are open don’t rely on the facilities here in the terminal

Never open! Why is this restaurant never open? This is the last time I will rely on this restaurant, it’s always closed which is frustrating as it’s the only place to eat at the terminal!!

We pass through the terminal about once a month and usually get decent service despite the queues. This Saturday no queues 3 staff and manager so we thought we were in luck. Staff did not speak English or French eventually order processed and we had a long wait. When we got the pack and hurried out for the train we opened it to find chips were cold and none of the sauces we had paid for were in the bag. Very un-impressed.

They forgot half our order and as we were planning to eat it on our train it was too late to complain once we opened the bag on the way out the car park. 1 burger, 1 chicken strips and 1 small chips for 4 people.....basically paid an extra £10+ for a handful of napkins and 1 packet of ketchup.

Nearly £20 pounds for 2 meals and cheese bites ! Burger bun was stale as hell chips was not cooked ! Why don’t they heat the roll ! Not a bit of salt on the chips undercooked ! Just a rip off !

Often I think there's a delay in service at this Burger King because burgers seem to be 'cooked to order' -which I prefer but do not queue expecting the usual 'fast food' outlet!

We ordered a small meal and had to wait over 10 minutes for it. People behind us got served first. When we asked for our meal the woman was moody and the actually meal was dry and tasteless. However the cleaner was lovely please promote her!

I was traveling with my mates and we decided to stop at burger king. Some friends got the wrong food, others had food missing. The chips were not even lukewarm, making them horrible The food is so small compared to their prices and pictures in the menu, the cost was not worth it. We decided not to complain since the staff seemed worn out from customers complaining about their crappy job, the food is smaller compared to other places of that price than my willy is to the average willy size and the quality isn't even good.

Tried the new Halloumi Double burger prior to going across via Eurotunnel and car, early in the morning. I must say it was very tasty, and restaurant was fine. Just about had time to consume it before loading onto the train.

We both had burgers and chips and both burgers were at best only Luke warm, chips were warm, not hot. We did complain and got two new burgers and yes they were just like the first ones berley Luke warm! I bit into my burger only to bite on something very hard, I hope it was only bone but suppose it could have been anything!! The manager told us some rubbish about the mayonnaise cooling the burger😂So we got our money back and ran away. Don't waste your money in this place.

Overpriced as it's from a 'services' quite disappointed with the food. Staff were friendly though....

Food ok but portion to small I like the refillable drink but the hygiene wasn’t good food was all around the place wouldn’t recommend.

From the number of potential customers that are constantly flowing through this place had quick service, typical Burger King food and a pleasant break waiting to board the train.

Two seniors off on a jolly thru France stopped off at Burger King and our meals took a few minutes as they were freshly cooked, but worth the wait. Friendly staff, clean eating area and pleasant surroundings. It is expensive, but you are a 'locked in' customer, and all the food halls are rather costly. Anyway, a good start to the journey.

Its sure value for money. A nice burger before to drive on the other end of the chunnel another 210km before getting home. The food court is in general a nice andwell provided place . Shame none off the self service machine in the court is working this 24th off july. But this has nothing to do with this excellent Burger King.

Avis à tous les français qui reviennent en France et qui seraient tentés par un fast-food au terminal Victor Hugo (côté anglais). Tout d'abord il n'y a pas de bornes de commande et le personnel ne parle du tout anglais. On a voulu mangé à 19h en pensant qu'on pourrait manger rapidement en début de service mais ce ne fut pas l cas. Malgré le fait que je parle anglais j'ai eu d'énorme difficulté à me faire comprendre, j'ai demandé des glaces, on m'a répondu que je n'avait pas le droit! J'ai attendu 20 minutes ma commande et il manquait plein de chose dedans. Pas de frite pas de boisson, pas de couvert pour la salade, pas de sauce. J'ai du allé au Starbucks à côté pour prendre une boisson car le service était trop long. De plus mon sandwich était froid. C'est vraiment le pire burger King que j'ai connu. C'est sans doute que j'avais un maillot de l'équipe de France que j'ai été aussi mal servi?

Rubbish service. Didn’t like at all. Not like normal burger kings . Poor cleaning to!!! They need better managnent and service...

I had a few minutes before boarding train and ordered chicken strip meal . I was very hungry and had been driving since 12.30 midday . It was now 20.30 . Two young men serving didn’t seem to know what they were doing . I was handed a folded takeaway paper bag and dashed for the embarkment . When I opened the bag it was a few chips and 4 onion rings that I don’t like . No chicken .

Ok it’s not about the food - you know what you’re going get.

Just had a simple cheese burger to keep me going this was served quickly and was hot and tasty, what more does one want from a fast food joint

Cold burger and total chaos. all for just 20 euros! How about queuing for an hour for cold burger and soggy chips anyone?

Everyone seems to flock here and there are always people queuing. Didn't quite get it, 3 or 4 people queuing that took 15 minutes to be served. How can a company that specialises in fast food take so long. Think your staff need a swift kick.

Burger King could learn much from McDonalds! Where was the service, where were the hats and beard guards, where was the quaility control? People opt for Burger King expecting the certain level of quality and service expected from a Brand......only to be greeted by rubbish microwaved products at over inflated prices. Lesson learned.

Ordered 2 meals went large nearly £20. Dashed to the van as last call was to board. When we parked in the queue there were no chips in the bag.

20 Minutes d'attente pour un simple menu et sans réellement beaucoup de monde devant nous. Cela m'a permis d'admirer l'état déplorable de ce BK. Voir photos. Des employés qui cachent vraiment bien leur joie de travailler. Il fallait vraiment que notre fils insiste pour ne pas faire demi tour.

Este Burger King es como en todos los BK en el REINO UNIDO. El tocino doble Cheeseburger es bueno pero yo no aconsejo tomar la versión xl!

Les sandwiches 2 fois moins gros,2 fois moins savoureux que ceux qu'on peut trouver sur n'importe quelle aire de repos ,en conséquence ,pour manger Burger King ,pensez à le faire sur les dernières "services " avant le terminal ,et encore ,vérifiez bien sur les panneaux indicateurs si c'est mac do ou burger king ,ils alternent 1 fois sur 2 !

Personeel is onbeschoft en alles behalve klantvriendelijk. In veel Burgers Kings in verschillende landen geweest maar deze mannen toppen alles met gemak.

You know what you are going to get before you get to the counter. Dreary greeting, basic communication, adequate service for fast food that is sometimes slow.

Reasonable quality whopper meal. Freshly cooked in a few minutes by pleasant friedly staff. However seemed a high price for burger and chips.

The tables are dirty. preparation of the food is slow. How can this place 5 star hygiene rating I don't know.

Let's be honest, you don't normally write a review on Burger King because you walk in, order, eat then leave. But I can't let Burger King Euro tunnel get away with such an awful experience. The more travellers write then maybe we won't suffer this appalling service again.The place is woefully understaffed and it's not a good sign when you hear the staff swearing as they speak about new Burger King Christmas goblets arrival in store. We arrived at a few minutes after 6pm and at 6:19 we were finally served. One person on the till. Someone who looked like they prepared the food and a third chatting endlessly to another who had obviously finished their shift. At 6:33 we finally received a simple order. 3 whoppers with cheese meals and a bacon double thing meal.All of the tables were dirty and unclean, so we went for the least dirty. The food was fine. Then went to put the wrappings in the bins. They were overflowing and sticky. Yuck!With Burger King expanding into France & Belgium this is the worst possible impression that can be given to future clients.I can't see Burger King reacting to this as I seriously think that there is no interaction between them and this store. If there was (franchise or not) they wouldn't have let it get this bad.

SLOW. I ordered two burgers extra large fries and extra large drinks Oreo milkshake. The person serving me gave me regular drinks and regular fries. I asked him is this extra large and he replied yes. Another member of staff came while he was preparing the milkshake and I asked again the drinks and fries were replaced with extra large as ordered. This was just not acceptable. The management was oblivious to the crowd piling waiting to order. The manager just printed something at the till and disappeared. I don't think I will ever use the service except the toilets. If you need to eat and drink do it before you reach the channel tunnel! Excessively expensive and terrible service.NEVER AGAIN

Not the healthiest start but filled a gap. service was quick & coffee hot. Chips tasted of cardboard but the rest was edible.

Completely disorganised and didn't seem to expect any customers, despite lack of choice in the terminal. Dreadful experience and we will certainly avoid in future. No food prepared... not even chips, which would form most people's order. Milkshake machine wasn't working. When our order did eventually arrive, my chicken strips contained one strip that was smaller than a kids nugget. One of our adult meals was missing altogether, and the whole lot, including two kids meals, had all been chucked without any care in to one big paperbag. No apology for the long delay, and seemed cross that I checked in the bag for all the orders... requested the one (adult burger meal) that was missing, and asked for separate bags for the kids meals. Staff didn't seem to care at all.

Service was so slow serving one person at a time, and having ten members of staff behind the counter, not sure how they would cope if we're busy. Food pricey for fast food. Food quality is good.

Had a menu there, but is equal to other Burger Kings around the world, so nothing special.But always good when you're in a hurry, and much bether (!!) then McDonalds...

Not as busy as expected on a Saturday afternoon in July so was served promptly. Quality of food as expected for Burger King.

It's a shame as I love Burger King meals. But at this one you are tourist fodder.Much more expensive than they should be.I try not to use them, but often when rushing for the channel tunnel, you don't stop and therefore end up wanting food at the waiting area.Other outlets are also priced higher than when outside the terminal.

Went here before going to the frog country, good service. Got served by someone called Jess, she cared to my every need and did an excellent job! She was also very easy on they eyes too.. Good job Burger King you hire good people. Keep it real.

There is very limited choice in terms of eating establishments at Dover, it's basically a Burger King or something from the newsagents. My sons chose the latter. Admittedly it was a busy day, problems on the ferries had caused delays and so the place was busy, but the waiting time was ridiculous; in fact we almost didn't make it back to the car in time. Prices are high (it's a captive market) and the small seating area is grim (if you have time to it down) My advice is to eat before entering the port, or bring food in with you!

All staff are friendly and welcoming, food as always lovely IMPHO of BK, fresh & plentiful, nice & clean seating area.

Rien d'extraordinaire dans ce burger king. Le persnnel est agréable mais ne parle pas un mot de français. On peut s'en sortir avec les images, mais côté français, les employés parlent anglais.

A standard burger king but due to how busy it was when we visited everything was hot and fresh. Efficient and friendly staff.

Quick and easy, food piping hot and not bad tasting actually. Needed it after all that fresh food in France, plenty of seating too.

Ate here on the way home,, nice to have some junk food again after eating out all week.Just a basic Burger King with polite English eaking staff

Same old same old. Nothing much changes here. Better than McD's but not a la Carter by any means. Keeps hunger at bay till you get to France

There's not much else to eat quickly how about having wagamamas or pizza express much better you can take that away!!

This is a typical fast food outlet at this type of location. Food is good, hot and quick. Plenty of seating and bikers can see bikes in car park.

We waited 30mns before we could even order. Staff was incompetent and slow to the point of madness! Never again !

We were disappointed here. Normally you can get a hot meal even if it is fast Food. But the food was cold and service so very slow. The place was not very clean and bathrooms. UGGGGH

De passage au terminal en attendant notre shuttle, nous avons opté pour un passage au Burger King. Caissière moyennement aimable, choix des produits restreint (pas de wrap, pas de sunday). Service limite, les frites jetées dans le sachet. Un cuisinier qui met des steaks à cuire et qui en même temps démonte les filtres de la hotte juste au dessus pour nettoyage, un peu..... Comment dire. Des poubelles qui débordent dans la salle et des tables loin d'être impeccables. En bref, une expérience pas très heureuse.

At Easter we were travelling to France and wanted to get some hash browns as a treat. We were at the terminal at 0530 and found that Burger King was not open. Fast forward to the end of August and peak summer season and once again at 0530 Burger King was not open. They were still not open when we left at 0600.I would love to comment on the service or the food, but as they never seem to be open when I'm there I cannot.

Didn't even bother going near it. Dreadful food and long queues' No thanks. To be fait much the same can be said about the other outlets in the terminal.

Last time we used the 'Shuttle' to France we came here for a 'burger' breakfast.I wouldn't normally want to pay for this sort of food but as there was no queue we knew service would be quick and the food and drinks were good enough.

Join the queue at this Burger King when passing through the tunnel but it was apparent it was going to be a long wait. I decided to go for a healthier option and went next door to Leon and was sitting down eating at least five minutes before him. If you are in a hurry you might want to consider other options.Overall the burger and chips with what you would typically get at a Burger King. Food was fresh just very slow.

Stopped over today on way to France. The cup of tea I had wasn't bad, but the appalling item described as a bacon buttie should be categorised as category 3, unfit for human consumption. Well done Burger King, you're nothing if not consistent. Travellers, bring sandwiches.

En attente du passage du shuttle, nous nous sommes retrouvé dans le terminal à folkestone. Pas beaucoup de choix pour diner. Nous avons donc sous l'impulsion de nos ados été au burger king. Mal nous a pris...Les hamburgers sont immondes, froids, avec des gouts "bizarres". On sent qu'ils ont trainé avant d'être servis. Le personnel, pas aimable n'arrange rien.

Little slower than one would have hoped considering the time constraints waiting for the tunnel. Other that that its your basic Burger King. What can one say.

Most of the time when we travel by tunnel it is at 3:00am or so by which time this place is not yet open, and that is always my biggest annoyance about it. We have eaten here a few times for breakfast and I must say nothing sets you up better for drive across Europe than a nice hearty burger king breakfast!It tastes delicious but as with any burger king the service is often slow and very rarely do you get your food served with a smile!

A quick birger king meal was what was needed in the short time we had before catching the train. We wanted a basic burger meal. We had to walk up very close to menu board placed inconveniently for people in the queue to find what we were looking for. Having placed our order we were not asked if we were eating in or out and so were given no tray, not asked if we would like ketchup ( no charge but you have to ask as there is none on display) Altogether the service was so minimal that you are made to feel unimportant. The food? Exactly what we needed, shame about the service and lack of clearly shown menu information

Visited Burger King at the Eurotunnel Terminal on a Saturday afternoon September and the experience my husband and I had was very different from pervious reviewers. The service was very friendly and efficient and the food fresh and tasty. Couldn't have been better fast food.... Sadly, this wasn't replicated when we visited another Burger King at a motorway stop just outside London.....

I was delayed on my crossing so took the kids to BK. The place is a joke. The staff are as enthusiastic as a slug. The manager seemed to be more interested in stock taking how many naps he had. Even though there was always a queue they seemed to cook to order. I asked for a Whopper and they were about to hand me one they'd had on the warmer since I'd been in the queue, about 15 minutes old. I opted for a fresh one and waited. A lot of people were returning food. If they didn't have a captive audience and were a branch on The High Street, the manager would be sacked and the branch would last five minutes. Not a great experience and even worse service. Fries lukewarm. My recommendation, stop off somewhere else if you have time. Oh and the lounge area of the terminus, horrendous. Good luck if you are delayed for any reason.

Let's be clear. You get what you pay for with fast food but there comes a point when even that is crossing the line and this BK does that. Staff generally don't seem interested and the result is queues can often be busy. Better options in the terminal or at service stations just prior to checking in. Sorry BK, this one is a let down.

Saturday afternoon 40 people queuing and 3 tills open! The staff in this particular outlet have slowness down to a fine art.The manager no wear to be seen, in my whooper meal there were 16 chips!This is also the 2nd time they've hit the order wrong in the favour, and of you are do late having queued that your on the train before you relise. Being typical Burger King prices are inflated.There are 2 solutions here;Sack the management team and start againOr euro tunnel should strip them if the franchise and get McDonald's in who will do a far superior job!Avoid at all costs

I was given my burger, went back to the car and drove onto the train. At that point I opened the burger and found it was not specially made at all but bulk standard.Of course by time I realised I was half way to France and no way of returning.In future I will not be buying burgers from this particular BK branch.

Nous avons manger la car arrivée 21h30 et le seul présentant des signes de présence. Il n'y avait que 1 seul personne pas super aimable, certes il ne parle pas francais et nous anglais au minimum donc pas degrande conversation! Mais il fesait la cuisine et les commandes en même temps. Donc 25 minutes pour 1 menu et un sandwich. Dommage car temps que l'eurotunnel il devrier avoir un service correct!

Burger King chips can be a bit manky, they weren't bad here! Very friendly and chatty staff too. For fast food, not at all bad!
