Delish Chicken in Shepway

Quick, hot and tasty. Chicken was nice. Fries were fab. Really good food and service. Restaurant was a little chilly on a cold night.

Family bucket came with healthy sized chicken, fries and sides. Staff ate really nice, way better than KFC in evey way. The Family enjoyed dinner last night, thanks guys. Steve

Absolute garbage. Staff: As much personality as a brick wall. Food: Stale and tasteless. Avoid!!!! The only good thing was the canned drink!!!

Best chicken shop I've tried in Folkestone always hot on collection or delivery

“I ordered a 6-piece spicy wings meal and a 6-piece BBQ wing meal from Delish Chicken. The BBQ wings were nice, but mainly due to the saturation of what I assume is a 3rd party BBQ sauce. The spicy wings were okay but in no way had any spice and were more like regular wings. The chip portions are quite small for the price of the meals, and the chips are very bland. The only compliment I can give the chips is that the texture of them was fairly decent. I also requested salt packets and was told no problem, but no salt was included. It was fairly greasy but not the worst I’ve seen, and no napkins were included either. But delivery was on time in roughly 30mins In conclusion, it’s just okay but wouldn’t be my first choice for chicken and chips in Folkestone.”

We order from here alot, food is always spot on. Excellent customer service. Delivery driver very polite and friendly. I would highly recommend.

Delish Chicken was always our favourite family take away. However we feel the £10 price increase, from £23 to £33, within a week, on a 8 piece variety bucket is excessive and we just cannot justify spending £33 on a take away bucket of Chicken. We know you get Chicken, strips, hot wings, fries, sides and a drink in a variety bucket and totally understand that prices of everything have gone up, but to put the price up by £10 from one week to the next has unfortunally outpriced us for a Delish take away. This is such a shame as we ordered regularly from Delish. Food was ALWAYS hot and very tasty and enjoyed by everyone. The staff and owner were always friendly, polite and helpfu

Best BBQ wings I've ever had, had it about 7 or 8 times now and never disappointed, I wouldn't go anywhere else for wings.

Delish Chicken. Their chicken wings are incredible and have the option to add peri peri salt! Friendly service. They even dropped a lovely Christmas card on delivery. Don't think you'd get a better service than this. Classic chicken shop 👍🎄🍗

Omg this guy is my savior. Having a migraine today and couldn't drive (sorry if i seemed out of it haha). He delivers all the way to hawkinge and its steaming hot and perfectly cooked. Definitely recommend the special burger and BBQ fillets. Good portions too! Thanks

I live a few miles away. I called and the guys are so nice they gave me free delivery. Always Amazing food! Piping hot. The ribs you cannot get anywhere. They are second to none! Would never ever go to kfc again. The food here and customer service and delivery is consistent and brilliant! Thanks guys xx

This place used to be decent but it seems to think it is the Harrods of chicken these days. Why they think they are worth more than KFC I will never know. £2.30 for a can of pop for instance.

Sublimely simple chicken. The gorgeous chicken wrap is second to none, so juicy and full of taste. 10/10 for hitting that chicken shaped spot.

Very disappointing, you can even smell it with your eye.

What started off as high hopes and empty bellies, ended in disappointment and utter regret. After chewing on what felt like the bottom of my flip flop, and the bone found in my ‘boneless’ nuggets, I can safely say that this is the worst £22 ever spent, and I would have genuinely would rather have eaten the box if came in, than the food itself.

Soooooo tasty! Had mountain burger box meal with coleslaw and cob...daughter had fillets, delicious chips, fab chicken, we'll be back for sure!

Was offered a discount on next purchase.. so finally ordered again and this time wasn't given a discount. That's fine then. Ordered 3 peri peri chicken for me and my parents. Burger came with TWO small strips of peri peri chicken, a little lettuce, red onions and mayo. We weren't happy with the portion of the chicken in comparison to the bun size so rang Delish and asked why they'd put only 2 strips of peri peri when we've had 3/4 before.. he said the size of the peri peri chicken is meant to weigh 100grams according to the owner but when we did weigh, it was only 66 grams. Could easily fit another 2 peices. Poor customer service, never going again.

Love Delish Chicken, so much better than KFC Always hot, very tasty and good portion sizes. Usually have a bucket and always ask for no legs as no-one eats them, never a problem, unlike other Chicken shops. Hot wings are really tasty. Staff are always polite, helpful and friendly, whether in the shop or on the phone. Shop is always very clean

Have ordered a couple of times. Both times delivery was quick, but clearly because they had some chicken and chips lying around. We ordered chicken pieces, chicken tenders and chips. Chips were lukewarm, mushy, v small portion. Chicken pieces were stale and cold and skin was soggy. Chicken tenders were of weird inconsistent sizes, cold, tough, stale. Overall a terribly disappointing meal and the star is only for the quick delivery and low prices. Can't give any more stars for awful food tbh.

Very rude lady on the phone. Terrible service. Ordered food and it took over an hour and a half. No complimentary drink or nothing . Just all round poor service.

I wouldn't even give a 1 star.It's always 2 hours late, food is always cold, the gravey has so much oil init just goes in the bin waste of money and time.

Just Eat are giving 25% Discount to all NHS workers but apparently not Delish Chicken. Not impressed Delish very poor!! Your the only takeaway in Folkestone refusing this.

hit and miss i guess.... ordered for the first time 6weeks (massive hangover) the food was a amazing. sorted me right out😂.. ordered again last sunday however the chicken was slightly dry and they forgot my coleslaw was so upset by that 😂 i didn’t want to call and moan about coleslaw, i ain’t that kind of customer, i know it’s been really hard recently with everything that’s going on! .. i’m looking forward to my next order! thanks guys, stay safe x

Used to love this place when it 1st opened, but last few times I have had food it has not been upto the standards, chicken tasted dry and ribs although gigantic in size have no meat on them.

Shocking over 30 minutes late when it finally turned up the food was hot but the beans had opened and was all over the food the food was shocking dry and no flavour at all will never use them again and wish I didn't in the first place

Solid and decent when on the way home and need something quick to eat.

Lucky Lee's Best In The World Fast Food Chicken...Bar None.. Just had the best tasting chicken strip meal in the world , cooked fresh while we were there , hot , and very quick polite and friendly service. No need for me to fly over all those miles to Kentucky anymore.

Clean establishment and friendly staff. Orders taken for collection and delivery and a very good menu to choose from. Want to pay by card?..no problem. Can be done over the phone for home delivery service.

Great and polite service, and the peri chicken was also good, though a bit on the over done side. They were kind enough to give us an extra juice bottle for my son without charge. The place was clean and hygenic as well. They could improve the peri chicken recipe. Worth a visit.

Chicken was ok but chips not great

It’s vile, absolutely foul, i would’ve rather eaten a burger with a patty made from dog meat at least it would’ve had some juice and flavour to it, I mean I know foods don’t have as much pulse as they do in the posters but I’ve seen more heart rates in a morgue and as for the wrap... chicken? Tasted like minted lamb but smelt like fish, chips were so fried but yet so cold, eaten one threw the rest, my dog normally pounces at takeaway, it poked its nose up at this one and stuck to its dry pedigree biscuits, might join the dog at this rate... pffft

Knock off kfc no south london chicken shop but good prices

Worst place ever. Staff all have attitude problems. Ordered over the phone and was waiting for an hour and a half, rung back for them to say it was a busy Friday night it will get there when it gets there! When arrived the male delivery driver was soooo rude and obnoxious! After I paid,he sped off in his little Citroen. Turns out the order was A) stone cold and B) the wrong order. Rung up to be then told no that was the order and then hung up! DO NOT use!!!!!

Placed an order over the phone for it to be delivered. Was told by an arrogant girl on the phone that it would be an hours wait to which i agreed. Still no delivery after an hour and a half so i rang them to say i didnt want it and to cancel it as im not prepared to wait any longer. The arrogant girl said our order had just left. I said that it was too late, then she put the phone down on me. This girl had a right atitude on her and needs to be disciplined by the owners. I will never order from there again!!!!

Absolutely ridiculous been waiting 2 hours for chicken and chips! Spoke to ‘vikki’ on the phone who says the manger isn’t in she was extremely rude replying with ‘I know you have callled me 4 times and refused to give us her name saying you don’t need my name after several times asking! Using excause after excause, it’s a joke.

Such a shame the food is fab and shop very very clean BUT DELIVERY IS RUBBISH. Waited 1 hour but gave up after 1 hour 45 mins after enitail order man on phone not very good at taking order. Sound like he was on drugs then I telephoned after 1 hour and 15 mins and got a response that he couldn’t be bothered and to ring back if I wanted my meal so I didn’t ring back as we gave up and bugger me after 1 hour and 45 mins the meal turned up. I obviously turned it away having gave up ages before. Such a shame they can’t get delivery’s sorted out or attitudes Mr p 3.3.2018

Had my usual from here last night as always when I'm back in town. I have the combo meal 2 which is 3 BBQ ribs, 1 piece of chicken, fries, can of drink and a side. The gravy is nice and thick and the BBQ sauce pod awesome. The only complaint I do have is that there isn't enough meat on the ribs but everything else is awesome! The service in the shop is brilliant and the owner always makes time. I will be going back!! Thanks Delish Chicken. Until next time!

Ordered via Just Eat and although the Just Eat website said a one hour delivery time it arrived within 20 minutes. My wife answered the door and the delivery driver gave her a leaflet and informed her that if we ordered directly through their own website in future there'd be no delivery charge. I found that very helpful. Onto the food: We both had fillet burger meals, I opted to go spicy. My chicken was slightly overcooked and could have been a lot more spicier but my wife's was cooked to perfection. The corn on the cob was perfect and the chips were very nice. I would have given four out of five due to my chicken being overcooked (I still ate it and it tasted great) but because of the helpfulness of the delivery driver I have to give full marks.

Después de ser recomendado este 'delicious' como un pollo más barato pero mejor kfc" que sin duda no volveremos si en la zona. Pollo no debería ser rosa y lidiando con el dinero que debe lavarse las manos antes de tratar con comida. Su sentido común.

Cant complain with the delievery time neithier the quality of the food... service was excellent, took 15 -20mins for a £19 order all cooked perfectly! Definatly reccomend

get the piri piri chicken and its cooked fresh. Nice rice and salad too. They deliver if you order more than £12 I think
