food was as good as ever which shows they are consistent. The staff are so lovely and very personal and passionate in every order. Fish was beautiful and flaky/glistening. Sauces were thick and rich. Support this local business and you won't be disappointed!

Ordered tonight and portion size is brilliant. Great value for money. Delicious and delivered hot. Accidentally forgot curry sauce but a quick call to such polite staff and within 10 minutes it had been delivered, again nice and hot. Definitely ordering from here every time as not only is the food great but the service you get beats that of the more "popular" chip shops in Folkestone. I hope this company receives more customers as they deserve it for everything mentioned above. Thank you so much

whilst delivery is fast I've given this shop benefit of doubt too many times now. this is the last time. chips weren't even edible. just thin and crispy with no potato in them. Will stick with sandys or papas Canterbury Road from now on. this place has been going down hill for months now

Amazing food, as always! I was extremely humbled by the restaurant and also the honest delivery driver who came all the back, after the shop had closed because he found our drinks in his car.

Takeaway meals for four people were ordered on a Friday evening for delivery at what must be one of their busiest times - yet it was delivered on time within 30 minutes by a cheery delivery lady. Food was remarkably inexpensive, piping hot, of excellent quality and the portions were very very generous. I'll definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

Fish used to be in super light batter and delicious. Sadly not today. Hard at the edges and overcooked and seemed like it had been fried 3 times - batter was dark orange. not very edible. Gutted! You were my go to fish and chip shop but after today not sure

We have ordered from here a few times. it's usually great. the cheesy chips was good but it had added extras like batter and what seemed like the dregs of the chip pan. The halloumi was deep fat fried and burnt. I have had halloumi from there before and it was great. The onion rings were good. Maybe they were busy and just rushed the food because it was so disappointing and not anything like their normal quality.

Very very greasy. Cooking fat not hot enough in my opinion which means the batter absorbed lots of fat and the chips were a bit soggy. Fairly tasty once you got past that. They are still using polystyrene containers for burgers & onion rings. they can’t be recycled - which is unfortunate. Perfectly adequate cardboard options are available.

Tasty fish with decent service, not enough or any vinegar on the fish and chips however, which is my only criticism, otherwise decent.

Battered halloumi great but Haddock one of the worst I've ever had. Batter rock solid, lukewarm and difficult to chew. Unusually bony piece of fish. Really disappointed.

Not very happy with the order tonight. Food arrived half an hour earlier than it should of, so had to sit there getting cold until I finished work. Plus the gherkin tasted watery and tasteless, curry sauce was bland too. Will order elsewhere next time.

I always get a nice meal, excellent service and delivery either early or on time. I would certainly recommend Cheriton fish & chips.

We went here for the first time last night the food was awful the battered sausage was damp with grease and soggy with no crunch and no taste. The fish was exactly the same, the chichen came really dry and with a old roast potatoe as extra. My children refused to eat it and said it was the worst fish and chips they had ever had.
