The fish was cooked to order and arrived hot home, the shop was clean and well run

first time I've used this fish and chip shop and was very impressed, with price , quality of taste and portions and a speedy delivery. well done

whilst delivery is fast I've given this shop benefit of doubt too many times now. this is the last time. chips weren't even edible. just thin and crispy with no potato in them. Will stick with sandys or papas Canterbury Road from now on. this place has been going down hill for months now

These were the best fish and chips I’ve had for a long time. Generous portions of cod and well cooked chips. Very enjoyable. Will definitely order from them again.

Amazing food, as always! I was extremely humbled by the restaurant and also the honest delivery driver who came all the back, after the shop had closed because he found our drinks in his car.

Takeaway meals for four people were ordered on a Friday evening for delivery at what must be one of their busiest times - yet it was delivered on time within 30 minutes by a cheery delivery lady. Food was remarkably inexpensive, piping hot, of excellent quality and the portions were very very generous. I'll definitely use them again. Highly recommended.

The food portions here are very good and generous, unlike a lot of places. Quick and easy to order and food always nice and hot.

Fish used to be in super light batter and delicious. Sadly not today. Hard at the edges and overcooked and seemed like it had been fried 3 times - batter was dark orange. not very edible. Gutted! You were my go to fish and chip shop but after today not sure

We have ordered from here a few times. it's usually great. the cheesy chips was good but it had added extras like batter and what seemed like the dregs of the chip pan. The halloumi was deep fat fried and burnt. I have had halloumi from there before and it was great. The onion rings were good. Maybe they were busy and just rushed the food because it was so disappointing and not anything like their normal quality.

Food was dumped in the porch, no phone, no ring. Cold. Third order third problem. No drink on the other occasion, same rude female delivery driver, every time. Rude manager. Avoid!

Not up to its usual standard , fish way too oily , bit of attention to oil temp would be a good idea . Fast delivery but ruined by sodden fish

Very very greasy. Cooking fat not hot enough in my opinion which means the batter absorbed lots of fat and the chips were a bit soggy. Fairly tasty once you got past that. They are still using polystyrene containers for burgers & onion rings. they can’t be recycled - which is unfortunate. Perfectly adequate cardboard options are available.

Tasty fish with decent service, not enough or any vinegar on the fish and chips however, which is my only criticism, otherwise decent.

Battered halloumi great but Haddock one of the worst I've ever had. Batter rock solid, lukewarm and difficult to chew. Unusually bony piece of fish. Really disappointed.

Not very happy with the order tonight. Food arrived half an hour earlier than it should of, so had to sit there getting cold until I finished work. Plus the gherkin tasted watery and tasteless, curry sauce was bland too. Will order elsewhere next time.

I always get a nice meal, excellent service and delivery either early or on time. I would certainly recommend Cheriton fish & chips.

We went here for the first time last night the food was awful the battered sausage was damp with grease and soggy with no crunch and no taste. The fish was exactly the same, the chichen came really dry and with a old roast potatoe as extra. My children refused to eat it and said it was the worst fish and chips they had ever had.

Continued excellence from Cheriton F&C. Despite Just Eat estimating a 45 - 60 min delivery slot, the food showed up 15 mins after ordering. Consistent quality as always.

Dear sir. Your fish was very tasty and the size was great. The chips didnt taste very fresh though. If the chips had been better then it would have been perfect.

Missing an item, the mushy peas. Everything else was good as usual.

Was nit happy as order chicken nuggets and git onions ring which no-one can eat

Unfortunately on this occasion I'm very disappointed, mushy peas wear waterd down to the point off soup, batterd sausage was completely inedible, chips wear tainted, fish bits seemed like they had been sat under hot lights to long over all not good.

Seemed to be a lot of 'crispy bits' in amongst the chips and burger roll was a bit hard round the edge.

I have news! We have discovered that Cheriton Fish & Chips have access to a time machine and so are able to deliver food almost before it has been ordered! In addition, the very charming lady who delivered our dinner complimented our large and unruly blackberry bush. If you want to experience futuristic, maybe even impossible, science and have a blackberry bush in need of flattery, then Cheriton Fish & Chips is the place for you. Oh, and the food was DELICIOUS! We received someone else's order and I had to call to let them know, after some confusion and a call to the delivery driver we received the correct order, lovely cod with excellent batter but the saveloys were cold and hard, inedible. Will give them another chance as we've always been happy with them before but were quite disappointed this time unfortunately

AVOID!! Food was stone cold despite only have to travel 6 minutes down the road. Food quality was abysmal. The cod was greasy, soggy, floppy and cold. The battered sausage was literal rubber and had the texture and taste of cardboard. Chips were Tasteless, limp and cold. The cheese on the cheesy chips hadn’t even begun to melt that’s how cold they were. The onion rings looked as though they had been refried about 5 times. Called up to try and resolve but the owner insinuated I was lying.
