Folkestone Kebab House in Shepway

Food never turned up and when I rang the man on the phone was very rude not happy with there customer service

I had two small pizzas and not a big one that I ordered!! This needs to be sorted out!! Not happy!!

food banged initially, service was also lovely. however, after about 2 hours my boyfriend started crashing out and fighting for his god damn life. he was bugging out, his stomach was on fire and he was on the verge of of puking for hours. I don’t know what’s inside of this food but stay away for your own safety….

Asked for salad and extra onions. They just chucked on extra onions, nothing else. Food cold.

Very disappointed asked for pitta bread separate from chicken kebab but never got one in my delivery to many times things missing

We had Lamb shish & Chicken shish which were excellent- nice big chunks of tender meat and all very tasty

Pizzas were hot and tasty but garlic bread was cold, delivery was unusually late.

Food took over 2hrs to be delivered, was cold and really unpleasant, will not be ordering from here again!!!

Restaurant postponed order for 40 mins and were then still half hour after that. Shouldn’t take the order if you can’t deliver on time

Ordered shish kebab unfortunately they sent lamb in-fact I preferred chicken, on arrival the presentation was awful, Lamb was chewy chips cold .. Immediately called up ordered another meal Chicken this time & chips £16 .. I was advised to ask for refund .. Pizza was nice pepperoni ordered . Taken pics of food.

chips were anemic and undercooked some were cold and doner meat was way over done and a rubbery texture

Love getting our takeaway from here, we didn’t think they’d deliver to hawkinge but thank his they did as aspendos in hawkinge had let us down massive. Food is always nice from here and we don’t ever have to wait ages

Unfortunately it arrived cold 🥶 probably cause it too so long to be delivered.

Our ood was delivered to the wrong address, when I contacted the restaurant the manager said they would make a fresh order, but when the food arrived it was cold and had obviously been recollected and delivered to us. Not impressed with the service.

Pizza was cold yet over cooked. Dough was stale. Pizza box damp with holes in bottom where I presume his fingers went through

Everything was cold, the pizza boxes looked like they had been chucked around the car and was nearly falling out the bottom of the box due to being soggy and cold!

We ordered the food at 21.07, we called at 22.37 and they said it was out for delivery, we called again at 22.55 and they said they were just preparing the food now. We received the order at 23.30. Unacceptable the food went to waste,

Cold food, incorrect order, new random service charge which negates the free delivery. As with most things in life things are only getting worse by the day. This business is the embodiment of that really.

Wrong kebab came, didn’t bring drink order & everything was cold. Very disappointing. Won’t be ordering from them again! Would like a full refund. Also tried to call the restaurant 3 times & there was no answer.

From time of ordering to delivery was an hour and twenty minutes. Too long to wait for "fast food" when the food arrived it wasnt even warm. Very disappointed as delivery time is normally half an hour ish, as for cold food just totally unacceptable!

10/10 quality kebab massive portions, loads of sauce and salad, and using your own branded packaging is that extra step from other places. Very good experience

I like to get my burger with no bun, I don't eat it so it is a waste to order. sometimes they get the order right, sometimes they mistake which of the burgers needs a bun, and sometimes they don't put a bun in either one of our burgers. Consistency of orders is hit and miss, but is still delicious and we will still keep going back. Just wish the order was right every time

It wasn’t so much that the order was late, it was that some of it was missing and when I phoned to let them know, it seemed a major inconvenience to them that I wanted the rest of the order delivered as soon as possible. Having said that, when we received the rest of the order, the food was very good.

What a lovely dinner. We got a chicken kebab, a kofta kebab and a portion of chips. The food was nice, fresh and very tasty. We could tell they used good quality ingredients and the portion sized were generous. JH thought it was a bit pricey. I thought it was good value for the quality.

Ordered a £60 takeaway for myself and our family and my Chicken kebab was raw all pink and still slimy on the inside. Called the restaurant who was very rude on the phone and told me I didn’t order from here then had a manager call who saw our order on screen but didn’t offer to refund us! I will be claiming this back via my bank! Food was vile and absolutely gopping. Not only this but we all woke up with diarrhoea. STAY CLEAR OF THIS KEBAB SHOP VILE VILE VILE!!!!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE

First time I’ve ordered a chicken kebab in years. Very disappointed wasn’t really a kebab more just chicken on a skewer? Where were the peppers and onions? Very disappointed won’t order one again! Jimmy used to do the best chicken kebabs with veg!!’

Delivery came missing sauce for kebab. I called restaurant and they sent driver out with a pot of sauce. Brilliant service, fantastic food!

The meat was cold and they didn’t follow instructions about seperate sauce, salad etc! I couldn’t eat anything as it was covered in the sauce that I have allergies to after I asked for everything to be sent separately! First time they have failed to follow instruction! Usually very good.!

Normally the best kebab however tonight it was really cold. And my chips were soggy and cold. Bit disappointed as couldn’t even eat it. But never normally an issue great service just unlucky tonight!

It was a good deal on the buy 1 get 1 free pizzas, however I found the meat pizza extremely salty. The cheesy chips were severely lacking in cheese, just a tiny sprinkling of melted cheese, I may as well have ordered regular chips.

Food was yummy and the delivery man was very kind to bring the food up the many stairs to my flat and was still smiling!

Food didn’t arrive. There was a 60min wait and then a 90 min wait. l called 4 times after the delivery time and was told the driver had knocked on the door and left the food - this is not true as I have a video doorbell and was home all evening. After multiple phone calls and promises of a call back, I gave up. Bad customer service. Restaurant took zero responsibility and did not apologise.

I don't usually go for a doner meat option however, it was really good from here and for a decent price too. The actual restaurant looks nice as well which isn't typical of a kebab place, it has a 5 star hygiene rating and the staff were friendly. A couple of reviews mention that the wrap is small but it definitely isn't. I would say the portion size was more than enough for the average person.
