Folkestone Kebab House in Shepway

Ordered a £60 takeaway for myself and our family and my Chicken kebab was raw all pink and still slimy on the inside. Called the restaurant who was very rude on the phone and told me I didn’t order from here then had a manager call who saw our order on screen but didn’t offer to refund us! I will be claiming this back via my bank! Food was vile and absolutely gopping. Not only this but we all woke up with diarrhoea. STAY CLEAR OF THIS KEBAB SHOP VILE VILE VILE!!!!!!! DO NOT EAT HERE

First time I’ve ordered a chicken kebab in years. Very disappointed wasn’t really a kebab more just chicken on a skewer? Where were the peppers and onions? Very disappointed won’t order one again! Jimmy used to do the best chicken kebabs with veg!!’

Delivery came missing sauce for kebab. I called restaurant and they sent driver out with a pot of sauce. Brilliant service, fantastic food!

The meat was cold and they didn’t follow instructions about seperate sauce, salad etc! I couldn’t eat anything as it was covered in the sauce that I have allergies to after I asked for everything to be sent separately! First time they have failed to follow instruction! Usually very good.!

Normally the best kebab however tonight it was really cold. And my chips were soggy and cold. Bit disappointed as couldn’t even eat it. But never normally an issue great service just unlucky tonight!

It was a good deal on the buy 1 get 1 free pizzas, however I found the meat pizza extremely salty. The cheesy chips were severely lacking in cheese, just a tiny sprinkling of melted cheese, I may as well have ordered regular chips.

Food was yummy and the delivery man was very kind to bring the food up the many stairs to my flat and was still smiling!

Food didn’t arrive. There was a 60min wait and then a 90 min wait. l called 4 times after the delivery time and was told the driver had knocked on the door and left the food - this is not true as I have a video doorbell and was home all evening. After multiple phone calls and promises of a call back, I gave up. Bad customer service. Restaurant took zero responsibility and did not apologise.

I don't usually go for a doner meat option however, it was really good from here and for a decent price too. The actual restaurant looks nice as well which isn't typical of a kebab place, it has a 5 star hygiene rating and the staff were friendly. A couple of reviews mention that the wrap is small but it definitely isn't. I would say the portion size was more than enough for the average person.

Family day out and a perfect end to our day. Best Doner Kebab we had in a long time and very quick service. Definitely worth a visit if in the area!

Usually I order a lot from here and it’s always early or on time. I placed the order at 6pm. Delivery was expected 45 minutes later. Delivery arrived at 7:30pm.The delivery driver apologised for being late but my food was cold.

I absolutely love their kebabs, it’s best in UK. I look forward to have their chicken shish wrap every time I visit Folkestone. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. And the prices are very reasonable for their quality of meat.

Food was warm, portion size was okay but wrong item delivered. I paid extra for an item and I was sent the wrong food. Plus delivery driver didn’t read the note and woke the whole house up by knocking and making the dog bark!

Never let down with this place. Can always rely on the quality of their food. The taste of the doner is like no other! The prices are great aswell! Can’t rave about this place enough

Honestly the best chicken doner I ever had! Meat was perfect, salad seasoned amazingly well and rice was cooked to perfection. Customer service was spot on, so friendly and polite, highly recommend this place to everyone

I ordered a small kebab with my order which is usually a decent portion, but today it was tiny. Hardly any meat whatsoever and for nearly £8, I'm Very disappointed. I shall go elsewhere in future

I DEFINATELY DIDNT EXPECT TO HEAR SHOUTING AND SWEARING ABOUT ME PHONING UP AND TO BE TOLD I WAS LYING AND THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO. The last couple of times I've been hugely dissapointed with both the food and service. The toppings on the vegetarian hot pizza were dissapointing. Sweetcorn,white onions and pickled chilli pepper. Last night I ordered two pizzas for my children as I didn't want to cook and we were also celebrating. One of my children is a particular eater and wanted a deep pan base. My other child wouldn't have cared, but the child who specifically wanted this base is also vegetarian so couldn't swap with her brother. I telephoneD to inform the kebab house and had hoped that they may be able to exchange the pizza for a deep pan base for my daughter and I would have happily driven to do that. However when I called I could hear shouting and swearing in the background and was point blank told that I had the right bases and they were too busy to deal with it.

Food turned up on time but stone cold garlic bread pizza. The burger luckily was still warm but the garlic bread pizza felt like it had been sat there for an hour. Driver apologised before I said anything so knew it wasn’t going to be warm

Shocking , food was stone cold , spoke with shop then was told to leave food & they send replacement for them to only send one item . Wouldn’t order from here again !

Disgusted that the food was left outside on our doorstep in the cold. Nobody bothered knocking the door or ringing the bell. I have a ring doorbell so I know no contact was made. Terrible service.

Hi. Great place to relax after the beach. My friend and I ate deliciously and had a wonderful rest. Turkish beer is simply amazing. I recommend visiting. Modern atmosphere and friendly team.

The pizzas are quality from here! Beautiful cheesy garlic bread too. The peppers to mushroom ratio is always spot on…. … good consistency on the crust too 👌

They charged me 30 pounds for a medium pizza that was extremely small you would think it was a extra small pizza the pizza slices was absolutely tiny.They also said it’s buy one get one free bur they scammed me it was not but one get one free they charged me for both pizzas each

Unreal Food Best chicken doner I have had

Meal was delivered I was told on time but instead of putting in porch as per my instructions it was left outside behind our car. I opened the door when I noticed message had changed on my phone to how was your food etc and checked both porch and front door but as it was behind car I never saw it. After 2 calls to restaurants to check I was told where it was and by this time it was cold. The first time I called restaurant when I saw message had changed was told it was going to be 10 mins late

more than 16 years of ordering just to find out that ordered chicken is not a chicken breast cooked in ordered kebab. Big Disappointment. Mistake maybe but doubt as rest of order was fine. I thing is just a try to get rid of something that had to go.

Worst food ever and no respect for the customers. 2times I ordered and they got it wrong and told me I was wrong. Why would I order something I don't like? That was also my last bit of money to feed me and my granddaughter.

You should never put that amount of burger sauce on doner meat - seriously a bit of sauce shouldn't be "let's make it a Doner Bolognese"
