great food at reasonable prices, unfortunately the last 6-8 month's or so forces me to change my review, the food is still delicious however every pizza order has been incorrect (wrong toppings, no stufffed crust) either take out or delivery both have been wrong, once made aware of error they have always apologised and corrected the mistake, however i will no longer use as an error happens every time now and i cannot be bothered to chase them up anymore

Ordered a takeaway. Doner kebab meat was overcooked, or left to stand for a very long time. And cold too! Wouldn’t order from them again.

Small portion of unsalted chips for £7...

Staff were rude and throw the food instead of passing me the bag.

They give you food from behind for some reason and you just watch how the fresh doner is cooked !!! I will never eat there again ...

WOW, what a REVOLTING meal from the HYTHE Aspendos, Ordered a large doner, got crispy, off cuts which had been the for hours, swimming in grease....No salad, Chips undercooked and soggy.... nothing nice about it, or its staff, unwelcoming...like their food...NEVER AGAIN...

Could do with adding either chip spice or salt to their chips. Other than that it was banging

No smiles no greetings I thought they were zombies, The shish and kofte tasted like salt and more salt when I tried to lift it out of the container it fell to bits it was soaked and swimming in grease. £!! rip off never again.

Don't be fooled by the ordinary outside of the place. Every time I have ordered food from there it has been well prepared, very tasty and great value for money. Well worth trying if you haven't been there already

Went in there for a burger. Wrapped and taking it away. I opened the container to find a soggy looking thing, no salad except 8-10 strands of wet cabbage on top of the meat. Later that day I was sick with food poisoning. Avoid.

Best chips in town and very generous portions!

I bought a Chicken Kebab with extra mushrooms the next day I had to go to the doctors as I had eggy burns and stomach aches the doctor said I had bilious due to bad mushrooms also the salad had no cucumber and the container was half filled with warm water

They always messed up with the orders. I said no onion 3 times but they put in extra onion and remove the lettuce. They never listen to the customers

I ordered my food, but all of it did not arrive. Call them up they sent more out, but it was cold

We use alot how hard can it be to have pitta bread separate before they went big every order was good tonights order wrong again can there staff not read...we have more fat in bottom of tray than I use for eggs delivery fast but thats it so wish I could post pictures

Visiting from London. Can’t compliment enough. Massive portions. Plenty of sauce and salads. Lovely staff - gave us complimentary drinks and Turkish delight. Will be coming back :)

Used to be amazing service, be using this place for 20 odd years but recently taken a nose dive with messing up multiple orders, and after ordering small chicken doner, XL lamb shish and large chicken shish and getting home to find ive only got 3x small chicken shish, after phoning them up to say the order was wrong, and arranged to pick up what was owning ag a later date, i was told i was lying and was told i still had to pay for them even tho i had paided full price on the last visit, so it sad to say but i wouldn't be using this service again even after many year ls of custom but i really wouldnt use this place again i personally i would recommend them to anyone.

I have ordered the same thing from this restaurant and now they have decided to not do it and was told To end the conversation, poor customer service.

Staff were rude at the counter and the food I ordered was wrong and what we did have when I returned home to find the wrong food was awful ! Chicken kebab I asked for with all the salad and a little chilli sauce ended up being no Salad at all , but just drenched in chilli sauce. There menu is set up so it’s Small / Large or Extra Large , no medium size. The high prices do not reflect any quality in there food. Overall 1 out of 10. Waste of money as I had to throw it away. Avoid !

Sadly had to stop ordering from here used them for years food is nice but the service and mistakes on the orders has got so bad I had 4 orders in a row that was wrong so Can’t take the risk anymore of them messing the order up

First time in 20 years that I've had a doner kebab, wow what a difference, will be having doners from now on, not only do you get plenty, but theres no grease or fat, highly recommended. Make sure you speak to the young ladies when ordering as the male foreign employees tend to get order wrong due to lack of understanding.

Drove through Cheriton. I spotted a kebab place I have never been to. Good flavours in the chicken shish and chips. The salad comes in a separate box. The sauce in a separate dip pod is a very good way to add as much as you want.

The best Doner and Chicken shish kebabs I've ever had, and I've had a lot! So tender and flavourful and no skimping on the portions either! Recommended.

Ordered takeaway and food was horrendous: chips were bland, seasoning of the chicken was questionable and the bread was soggy. Deeply regretted ordering from here

I ordered over the phone the young lady wasn't really paying attention as I had to repeat my order as she got it wrong when repeating it back to me. I then waited 30 mins for the food to arrive only to find that the chicken shish looked very much like Lamb. I called them back the young lady says "Well send it back but keep the chips" I responded I want the whole order redone as chips will be cold (almost were anyway) "FINE" was the response and then the phone hung up. Disgusting customer service and I'll be going in tomorrow to express this in person.

Hi guys. This should be my dinner from Aspendos - chicken dinner wrap- Does it looks like normal dinner. They put the salad inside. Very tricky - the meat is nearly missing and inside the wrap is most salad then the chicken. So my dinner was salad wrap. No more Aspendos, it’s only one name, no cover....

Quick delivery. Even though my pitta bread was burnt & the salad was horrible, the size was huge & the quality was very good!

Gone downhill, used to be good. Slow delivery times. Order wrong everytime with sauce/salad selection. Friendly but unprofessional on the phone. Food is ok, nothing special and Luke warm when it arrives. I understand how busy they must be, but the qaulity has been lost. This isnt a review from one order sadly.

We always use Aspendos and have been for 25 years. The kebabs are always generous in size and perfectly cooked.

Red cabbage in the salad was off and should not have been served. Rest of food ok but spoilt as had the red cabbage all over it. Quick delivery. They need to check freshness of salad.

Burgers are very mushy rather than meaty.

Always good food from this place. Pizzas are great (and great value). Also, their half pounder burgers are fantastic. Food is always delivered hot (including kebabs as they pack the salad in a seperate container).

Generous portions which is typical of all Aspendos restaurants and take aways. Our favorite is the Aspendos special because it is so tasty and good value for money. We always have the grilled vegetables as an extra.

Kebab arrived as hard as anything and looked like old cold meat got a fresh one sent but it still wasn't very nice I wouldn't recommend

Says closed at 00.00 but more likely close at 11.30 what a disgrace even shop door says open wouldn’t serve me after 10 years of loyalty

These guys have been in operation here for years and I can honestly say that for me, this is the best kebab in Kent. One generally receives attention instantaneously upon entering the store and staff are always polite and efficient. Portions are generous and the food is piping hot, as is the chili sauce ;-) . Home Delivery (e.g. via the Just Eat app) is also exceptional, having not had a single order go past the given ETA, and the order has been correct every time.

If you're there for fine dine service it's not your place, but if you want a very good chicken kebab you found the place. After all it's a takeaway. Very good food and very well priced.

Last night ordered 4 pizzas. All I can say is that they were disgusting. There was no sauce under the cheese topping, it was like eating cheese on toast. Most of it went in the bin.

Mert took my mums crutches and forced her to crawl her 9 inch(8.5 inch) pizza to her car to later realise there was only used condoms in the pizza box all along

Ordered tonight, asked for two large lambs with garlic mayo an salad, got one lot of salad... Then the meat was horrible, called through to let them know, no problem we will resend the order out.. got the second order meat was just the same that's 19 pound down the drain.... really disappointed as normal very taste an worth the money... Wrong order, we ordered chicken and got lamb, ordered no onions and received a lot!!!! Too much mayo , couldn’t find the meat.

Kids meal chips were soggy and dinner meat was old also the cheese garlic bread was cold

The food order was completely wrong and we'd put on a note to not ring the bell as sleeping baby. It was totally ignored! Tried to phone but got hung up on. Very disappointing as their restaurant is amazing. Let down by delivery.
