After walking round the country park we called in for lunch and a very good lunch it was. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and there's plenty of, mainly healthy, choices on the menu, including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan. The portion sizes are ample and are very good value for money. There's seating both inside and outside and, although dogs are only allowed outside, they are made to feel very welcome. Car parking (pay and display and single fee for the whole day) and clean toilets are nearby. Can certainly recommend.

There's a good choice of drinks (we called in for a coffee and a speciality tea). our drinks were freshly made and served by very friendly staff. We did not have any food but there were plenty of choices and what we saw being served to the other customers looked very good. There's seating both inside and outside (very dog friendly outside) with nearby pay and display parking and clean toilets.

Excellent food for vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free diets. Friendly polite service. My first visit. I wish I had visited before. Vegetarian family from London were impressed with value for money, such healthy fresh food. Certainly, a spiritual experience with a calming atmosphere. The staff are welcoming, helpful & deserve to be rewarded.

Stumbled across this cafe and was so surprised to learn that it was totally vegetarian and with the majority of it being vegan too! Then we looked at the menu and could not believe how cheap it is! Unfortunately we only had card on us and note it's cash only. So me and my boyfriend gathered the change that we had and could afford a sausage and onion bap, chips and a glass of squash for under £4!! The lady (Geraldine who I think is the owner) obviously noticed that we were caught unexpected without cash and separated the sausage bap into two for us! Lovely, unnecessary gesture. We will definitely be returning back here as the food was great value for money, tasty and the service was excellent. Thank you for making our trip to the park that much better!! (Note they also do vegan Mr.Whippy for the summer!!)

This is ideal venue for summer walks and snacks, pity does not offer any non vegi alternative to offer a wider choice, let the customer choose vegi or not, we had Jacket potato as vegi sausages did not taste so good on last visit.

We stopped here for some lunch following a long walk round the park. We had our dog with us and were told we could eat indoors but we were quite happy sitting outside. We chose the veggie lasagne and veggie shepherds pie, both very reasonably priced at £3.50 each. The coffee was also very good with friendly service. There is quite a selection on the menu and also some very tempting cakes. Well worth a visit.

Nice little spot for a drink after a walk around the park. The car park is not free but with some ingenuity you can park elsewhere and extend your walk. If you aren't a veggie or vegan don't be out off. The beanburgers are rather nice and chips. ... Aren't they made from veg? We usually drop.in midway round out walk with the dog.

Enjoyed a Spicey bean burger and chips for lunch all for a bargain price of £3.50! The burger was homemade and was very tasty. The veggie main meal menu is extensive and they do cakes, coffees and ice creams etc too all at a very affordable price. 3 of us ate a main meal and hot drinks all for £15. The cafe itself is a bit basic inside but it's the food that matters - and the food is great!

Having had a very positive experience here on our previous visit with friendly staff and good value vegan food we returned today and had a very different experience. I asked for two vegan milkshakes and on seeing the waitress starting to make them with Crusha I reminded her that I asked for vegan milkshakes. She shrugged, read the ingredients of the bottle then passed it to me, where I was able to show her the bold lettering saying 'not suitable for vegetarians'. When I expressed concern over the milkshakes being advertised as vege/vegan I was again just met with a shrug. Very annoyed as I had ordered the same vegan shake last time we were there and had drunk it and only spotted this today by chance. The staff response was appalling as well. Wouldn't trust other things here now, which is a shame as the cafe is in a great place and offers affordable food.

Such a relief to be able to have good value, healthy food served by the friendly owners and staff. So many cafes at parks serve appalling quality food to children, Brockhill cafe has it spot on with home cooked food from vege burgers to cakes, children's pasta to soups. They also kindly heated up my baby food which so many places now refuse to do, as if you would give your baby scalding hot food?! It was freezing at the park today but good hot food in the sunshine warmed us up - thank you Brockhill Park cafe.

Took an impressively long time to be served and get 4 ice creams and a cup of grim tea, had to give up on the idea of hot food! While the menu sounds OK, it's impossibly large for it all to be freshly prepared, surely. Why not simplify the menu and do a few things really well and serve them quicker?

The Brockhill Cafe could not be in a nicer setting and it has no competition. In short, it should clean up on sales (maybe it does). I think it's really missing a trick. There is enormous scope for a far broader range of offers from this place - to better reflect the greater sophistication of many people's tastes now.Imagine being able to visit for a really good quality high tea or cream tea in the summer. Or to be able to get fresh fruit, specialty teas or coffees or even take away picnics for one's walk in the woods.Instead, it's the usual cheap cafe fare, unimaginative and limited in choice and scope.

Naturally they refused to take a food order...No concept of customer service, just a flat no, kitchen is closed and we aren't taking orders - even when it was pointed out that we had been queuing for a long time before we could place our orderSuch a shame as have been here in the past and have never had any issues before. We were a party of 6 for Christmas dinner. We had generous and tasty cocktails to start. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Iced water arrived without us having to ask. The staff checked with us before serving each course. The food was plentiful and delicious. We all went traditional: prawn cocktails followed by turkey. Everything was perfectly cooked. Puddings were great too - Christmas puddings and cheese cakes. Highly recommend.

After taking in some NYD sea air my other half and I decided to drive along from Folkestone to Hythe to see if we could stop by cosy pub for a quick drink. We parked up and wondered along to the Globe Inn. Upon arrival we received a warm welcome from the Landlady who wished us a Happy New Year and sat us next to the log fire. No food was available but we overheard the owners offering to cook Fish and Chips for a couple who had also popped into the pub. I've never written a review before but this old school proper High Street pub deserves a mention and a reminder to everyone why we need to keep our local pubs alive. An unexpected surprise and a place we will definitely drop by again. Well Done!

Always liked the atmosphere at the master brewer. Nice location with duck pond near by and free parking. Had a really good time for a friend's birthday recently but the only issue is they were running out of drinks... To the point I had a vodka lemonade with more vodka than lemonade because they were running out of mixer. I wasn't complaining but it was a curious situation to be in. Regardless of the lack of supply the bar staff were friendly and accommodating. In the words of Arnie in the terminator... I'll be back
