My name is Thomas, and I just want to say this place is amazinng, before I get started I just want to say I only do reviews for places that realy incredbely inpress me. as soon as I walked in one of the lovely staff members called sahrah kindly offerd me a coktail. It was lovely, in adition the costomer service is amazing. To sum this all up Etchinghill Golf Club is amazing I want to say thank to all the staff wich were there serving us wich was: 1. Harley 2. Yesterday (19.03.23) our family went to Etchinghill Golf Club for a Mother’s Day Lunch. I was very impressed. I don’t usually leave reviews but this visit was so good I felt I had to. Our table looked very pretty, beautifully laid. We had two young children with us and they were very well catered for. The ladies that served us were friendly and engaged with the children. Starters were excellent and the main course was also delicious with everything you would expect for a roast dinner on the plate. It arrived hot and full of flavour. Deserts were great too. There was not a lot of conversation going on at the table, everyone was too busy enjoying their food. Deserts also top notch and the coffee and mint chocolate afterwards went down a treat. No complaints from our party of 10, hope to do it all again soon!

Enjoyed sitting on the attractive patio in the sunshine and there is a good selection of beers and wines

After holidaying in the area many times over the years, we found this place this time & booked Sunday lunch for today. We certainly weren't disappointed. The roast meal was excellent, well cooked, very hot & plentiful. Toffee apple crumble & custard for pud was delicious! Our waitress was very friendly & efficient & service was speedy. We shall definitely return & have no hesitation in recommending.

I was made to feel right at home here whilst playing in the Event and afterwards in the Bar. The food laid on was Fantastic. All the golfers and staff were Wonderful. If passing drop in for a Challenging round of golf.

Een interessante golfbaan met uitdagende par holes en bij wind, en dat is er meestal, een lastige baan. Bovendien bestaat het complex uit 3 banen, waaronder ook een par 3 baan. Keuze genoeg dus en ook de keuken bood prima keuze

Just had a really great lunch at the club Fab starter. Prawns and crayfish Roast beef served with roast potatoes Yorkshire puddings and lovely vegetables Couldn’t manage a pud. But lots of choice Instead had coffee and mints on the patioBrilliant afternoon had by all

The food and service whether a light snack or meal I have always found good and on a sunny day overlooking the greens is a great place to relax

We came here and had a bucket of balls and brunch Staff were helpful and friendly Food was freshly prepared, hot and tasty Nice atmosphere

Bland slow served food on golf trip. Kept waiting for what turned out to be less than memorable meal

I stopped here as leg one of my golfing-trip in beautiful Kent. As i had been here before and had a great time, i was delighted to see that the friendly reception and warmharted way in wich you are received, hadn't changed. Add the nice weather and again i had a ball ! (well, i took several with me, just in case ... :-)

First time I played here bland was not not disappointed. Course condition was excellent. Greens were really good. Couple of stand out holes which will make me go back. Great days golf.

Haven't played this course for probably 5 years as I've always felt it's overpriced.... better deals out there... But decided let's go there... £20 each after 12 which is do able.... played the leas course. In absolute fantastic condition.. greens superb.. fairways top notch.. Tee boxes very good.. Had a very slow 4 ball that eventually let us threw and a few un repaired pitch marks my only gripe... Thoroughly enjoyed the 19th in the sun... Great afternoon....

This is 5285 yards, par 70 'pay & play' course with some greens repeated via differing tees.

Surprise visit for mum and had three course lunch there. Food was good quality and well cooked. Carvery choice was nice and plenty of veg. Did not leave feeling hungry. Good service and would recommend when they have these types of events.

Being an Academy member at Etchinghill golf club , I am discounted at15%.

Although my wife and I have been for lunch on numerous occasions. We went on Sunday to try there new menu. It was well thought out with a good selection of Starters, Mains and Deserts to suit all tastes and all very reasonable priced. If you are ever in the area it is well worth a visit.

We had an excellent Sunday roast at the Golf Club Restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent if we had one complaint it would be that as “seniors” we found the portion sizes rather large but I suppose better that than leaving hungry! The vegetables were plentiful and cooked well and again lots of them.

My wife and I together with 38 other friends went to the golf club to celebrate Trafalgar Day. It was a Black Tie function. The food, service and the way we were treated was outstanding. Lisa and her staff were very attentive and went out of there way to ensure the evening was a success. If you ever have the chance to eat at the golf club. You would be a fool not to go.

We enjoyed a lovely traditional Sunday roast yesterday with ample portions. The service and staff was attentive and were made to feel welcome.

Stopped in for a late breakfast and went for the Full English. Food was okay, but took over half an hour to arrive (and we were the only ones there). Coffee was decidedly ungood. Service was friendly and prices reasonable.

Normalmente pop aquí un café/té cuando haciendo un paseo campestre en la zona. El personal es amable y no tienes la sensación de que son un extraño cuando entras en uno de los jugadores a los que es muy agradable. Nuestra hija tuvo su boda aquí hace muchos años y más años a las mejoras de la decoración se han hecho. No comido aquí todavía, pero los desayunos siempre buen aspecto. Lugar muy agradable.

Ample portions, efficiently served. Well cooked vegetables. Quite popular so must book. Golf club atmosphere. Could be noisey.

Visitamos el restaurante este almuerzo con mi esposa. Aunque comido sus en muchas ocasiones. Esta fue la primera vez este año. Ambos decidimos el asador. Toda la comida es de origen local y el cordero era el mejor que he tenido para trodat. El servicio y el personal eran excelentes. Si estás en la zona y quieren un buen precio Domingo almuerzo entonces es bien merece una visita. Puede ser recomendable reservar antes de ir.

Gran golf. Estupenda comida. Las salchichas son sin duda una baguettes ir! Agradable almuerzo de domingo, recomendamos

A great course, forgiving and good for a beginner and improver.

Estuvimos encantados nuestros amigos eligió el club de golf para su recepción de boda como el lugar, la comida y el servicio era excelente, no me puedo quejar de nada.

Fabulous food served in delightful surroundings. Excellent service by warm, friendly and attentive staff. All in all a very pleasant dining experience!

We were a large mixed age party and after we all were served our drinks in the bar area we were shown through into a very pleasant dining room. We were offered menus' but all opted for the Carvery choice. The pricing structure of the meals is based on one two or three courses. Those who chose a starter were served first as we had been asked if we would prefer to eat the main course all at the same time.The carvery was a three meat choice served with a good variety of fresh vegetables. The server was generous with his portions. Everything was hot and appetising. The deserts were absolutely delicious.One of our party was gluten free and his requirements were met with no problem at all, especially pleasing has we had not made it known when booking the mealAfter the meal we were offered complimentary tea or coffee and did not feel at all rushed to leave. We were left to sit chatting which was very nice.In all a very pleasant experience and we will return again and also recommend it to friends..

We have held a number of functions here over the years and each time the quality of food and service has been fantastic. Our last function was a golden wedding sit down meal, the food was fabulous. Previous visits included one or 2 family members in wheelchairs and layout of facilities made the visit trouble free. Fabulous views over the golf course, especially if you wander outside on the patio and watch the setting sun.

Have been using this establishment for a couple of years on Sundays, nothing is to much trouble for the staff, carver alway good value, nice surroundings

Fish and chips is a Fitzalan tradition.We all piled in the cars and set off for the course. Everyone was welcoming and there was a reception with a live band which was a bonus. We could hardly hear the band, gentle background music and very good. The fish was suitably fresh with a generous helping of chips, the more expensive rose was delicious. We had a lovely evening seeing the sun set over the course and talking about Michael Fitzalan's book, 'Switch', being made into a film, the reprinting of the cult book 'The Taint Gallery' and sales of the punk fiction book '77'. A silent fan club has grown up around him. I really enjoyed our fish and chips and was tempted to dance to the great band who were churning out cult classics of their own.

Had sandwich lunch befor playing golf. Reasonable price and food. Service prompt and friendly. What you expect from a golf club.

I have visited Etchinghill Golf Club on numerous occasions. From popping in and having a full English breakfast which was yummy to having a Sunday lunch which was delicious. It is excellent value for money and the environment is fantastic. The manager and her team are great, very attentive and friendly. See you soon Etchinghill!!!!

Having been regular visitors to Etchinghill especially for Christmas parties, I would thoroughly recommend it. Food has always been more than satisfactory the environment relaxed service excellent and great value for money.

A group of ladies who lunch met up here and we all had a jolly time. We chose dishes of the day such as smoked salmon salad, and ordered chips which were fluffy, light and delicious. The service was good and staff very pleasant. A very good venue for a mid-week lunch.

Having played golf , it was nice to enjoy a pre lunch drink on the patio followed by a carvery. The food was good and the staff pleasant. Very good value.

This place really is horrible, Terrible Food, Unfriendly staff, and they try to rip you off at the bar as well as on your sub-standard meal......Go to Broome Park...150% better...avoid Etchinghill Golf Club Sunday Carvery Like the PLAGUE!!!!

all very average but course ok. Not delighted with thick mugs and general presentation. Nice out door seating. Staff very indifferent and in no hurry to take orders.

Although it is a golf club it is open to the public for Sunday lunch and well worth a visit. We often eat there and have never been disappointed

Mass produced food with no flair, or come to that, taste.No welcome, no one seemed to care whether we were there.Has not changed for the better over the years.

We went for Sunday lunch as a family 8 adults plus 1 two year old. The service we received was excellent and the food was really well cooked, the prices were very reasonable and the dining room was light and airy with great views of the golf course. We ate later in the week from the bar menu and although we arrived very nears to closing time, they were very co-operative and provided us with a good meal.

The Golf Course Restaurant is essentially a no-frills venue, tucked inside the Etchinghill Golf clubhouse, that excells with reliable food. We have been here a few times for the Sunday lunch carvery, which has lots of choice for the meat eaters and plentiful vegetables and trimmings along with it. As a non red-meat eater, my choice is limited to salmon, but I am quite happy with this alternative, and the chef is always keen to ensure I have enough vegetables to keep me going. As the venue has the appeal of a village hall I would not personally rate it as a place for special occasions, but it's ideal for Sunday lunch when mum (or dad) want's a break from cooking.

A party of us went for Mothering Sunday. £20 a head set carvery menu. The waiter forgot one of our drinks and then also missed off the same persons starter.Meat was a bit dry, the potatoes were dry too and the muzak was the wrong side of intrusive.However, after.the shaky start they pulled it back so an overall ok meal.Would we go back? Probably but will set our sights a bit lower next time.

We booked our wedding breakfast and evening reception with Etchinghill back in May 2011 for 60-125 people. The food was characteristically top notch honest, well cooked, great value, generous portions hearty well appreciated food. Nothing was too much trouble, from hosting a band and table magician, our guests spilling over into additional rooms, decorating the venue, to endlessly relighting tea lights i'd put around the main room all evening. Debbie Francis and team was fantastic and very adaptable around us, with speeches overrunning, and flexibility on what we wanted, where and helping out where we needed it. We honestly had a wonderful wedding, due partially to having a top notch, wonderful team supporting us for such good value.
