The best restaurants in Sevenoaks South East

Arrived at around 12.30 on Sunday last. The barmaid and presumably the owner appeared to be well inebriated. There were only a few people in the pub on a rear sunny Sunday. The very attractive looking garden was empty on a beautiful early afternoon. No food, no fun, no ambience. Just a brace of "staff" with a self service ( didn't give the till any trouble) generosity. Coming from a Local Authority background I am stunned that the operators are considered to be suitable people to operate licensed premises.

Just wanted to appreciate how dog friendly this coffee shop is. Nice big sign on door saying dogs welcome. Water bowl on the floor. Dog biscuits on the counter. Makes a nice change. The staff were great and the place was really clean. Very positive for a Starbucks...hats off.

We used to live in the village for many years and it seemed fitting to arrange our mothers wake at the pub we used to pop into for drinks or food over the years. Staff were so friendly and attentive, food was great and even had some left over! We were lucky to have amazing weather and we enjoyed all sitting outside in the garden where there was plenty of seating to seat 50 plus people. Highly recommend

I have eaten here many times over the years and their pizza and salads are always delicious. I visited in February for a comedy night with friends and again in March with family on a sunny Sunday. Both times we ordered a majority of the little plates. All of them amazing and the best meal I’ve had in ages. Particularly the tuna, prawns and salmon. Have booked again to take my parents in a couple of weeks so hopefully it’s just as good as they are excited to try the small plates.

We have been long time customers of seal kebab shop but lately they've had a refresh of the business and made some changes and additions. They state that their doner meat is the best it can be.... And they aren't lying!!! We had chicken shish and lamb Doner combo and not a scrap was left. The pitta breads seem handmade too! They are going to give the rest of the kebab shops a run for their money.... Over all feels like a quality restaurant meal but at amazing prices. Also use their own website for better delivery prices etc too. Highly recommend

Food came late, stodgy, and cold.

I have placed a few orders before and the food is excellent. They came to our work to feed lunch to a 70 strong work force and smashed it!! The chips are amazing! Friendly staff tasty food!

shocking stone cold and took over an hour

It was OK, but the card payer machine wasn’t working too well. I’d say they need a new one.

Unfortunately the experience was not great, had to wait 20 mins for a pre booked table, another 20 mins for drinks to arrive. The waitress (joe) was rather rude and uncomfortable, seemed like she could not wait for us to leave. Rushing us to pay by blaming down the bill and huffing and puffing. A party member had a hair in her food and the waitress (joe) refused her to get a new meal. Unbelievable experiences from toby carvery. Will not be returning any time soon. Total shame as its our favourite toby carvery. However the food was fresh and hot, the gentleman over the food counter was very helpful and friendly. Parking spaces were available and accessible for all users.

We had breakfast here and enjoyed the toasties and hot drinks. Bit pricey but staff very pleasant and nice comfy seats.

We're booked at the hotel on a spa break and dinner was part of the package. Have just finished a really lovely meal at Genevieve's restaurant. Food was great - had the lamb shoulder and my daughter had the beef rendang, both were delicious, and really generous portions. We were served by Amy R, who did an excellent job and was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.

We went to m&s cafe in Sevenoaks, with the grandchildren yesterday. No beans available as the ‘tin opener was broken’ ! No sausages, no bacon ‘ they hadn’t got any’ no ciabatta’s available. Last week no decaf coffee available. What is the point of this place ! They have a food shop, but obviously they can’t go down stairs to get a tin of beans with a ring pull or go 60 yards across the car park to get a new tin opener ! Tables not clean, and staff obviously not interested in what they are doing.

Hygiene levels at this shop are revolting. They lay in your sub while they lean across to get fillings. I asked them twice to stop doing it before I walked out. The front of both servers t-shirts were stained and greasy from doing this all day. The toilets were nasty when open and now they pretend they are broken to avoid cleaning them. I will never go back to this shop.
