Served by Betty, who was very friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfast was hot and fresh. Buffet was well stocked with pastries. Tables all very clean, Thanks to Betty.
Would definitely come here again.
THEE INTERIOR IS LIKE STEPPING BACK INTO THE PAST.. TRULY ORIGINAL YOU CAN ALMOST GET A SENSE OF WHAT LIFE WAS LIKE IN THE YEARS OF OLD.. FANTASTIC VENUE GREAT PLACE FOOD IS WELL ORGANISED AND DELICIOUS STAFF ARE DELIGHTFUL
The recent renovation has certainly paid off—this restaurant now boasts a lovely decor with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The views are a real highlight, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal.
However, the experience was somewhat let down by the service. It was a busy afternoon, and it seemed like the restaurant could have used more staff to keep up with the demand. The long wait of over two hours for our main course was particularly frustrating and took away from the overall enjoyment of the meal.
As for the food, it was decent but not outstanding. The roast potatoes were a bit too hard, and the crumble for dessert wasn’t the best. That said, other elements of the meal were enjoyable, and with a bit more attention to detail, the kitchen could deliver a more consistent experience.
Overall, this restaurant has a lot of potential. The setting and ambiance are fantastic, but improvements in service and some refinements in the food would make a significant difference.

I just want to leave an amazing review as a type 1 diabetic! My sugars were 2.8 (low) and they basically threw the orange juice at me so i have massive respect. The music was so up my street (big 90’s & 00’s baby!) so 5/5 all round!!
We came as a family for a Saturday meal but left unimpressed. The prices aren't too bad but the service was slow and the food cold by the time it came. Meat was slimy, sauces tasted metallic. Avoid.
This has always been a favourite of mine for many years. I recently took the family and it was fantastic as always. Amazing food, fantastic service and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommended
So I can't comment on some things here. But let me tell you a story, I asked via email a couple of weeks (if not more) in advance if they still did a seafood platter, they confirmed they did and also booked me a table for the day/time I wanted. I drove 25 miles and paid for parking to meet a friend here looking forward to the food, when we arrived it was closed, despite them having confirmed by email. later that day I emailed them about it, they have had 2 days to respond yet nothing so have decided to post it here- they had thier chance, so customer service I would say is appalling...! Should you decide to book here, I suggest you double check they are actually open- who books a customer a table, confirms it for a day they are closed and then doesn't tell the customer when they realise they screwed up, but also to not reply to an email about it....poor poor poor
Great date night last night for valentine’s night, restaurant was very busy and the food was fantastic, tasty and enjoyable!
Great team effort by all last night!
Strawberry margaritas were divine thanks Rob!
The Cafe has a lovely view , and is clean and tidy, staff are friendly, but it is just an over priced Cafe. The sandwich was bland for £8.25, and the scones were very dry and stale. The tea was lovely. I would recommend for a quick drink but that's about it.
We went to Tiger Tiger for dinner with a few work colleagues. It was very nice and the food was good. The cocktails were really nice and the staff was friendly.
I visited Gunwharf Keys today , the kiosk in the square. Having waited 20 mins I made my order and really wished I had gone elsewhere. The woman was so rude, all I wanted was a small americano and a flat white. I was told we don’t do small americano only regular. But the takeaway cup for the flat white was small, I’m sure with a bit of common sense the americano could have been adjusted. She had absolutely no customer service skills, barked instructions at me, clearly Caffè Nero only employ rude staff , I had a similar experience in Farnham. When I informed Caffè Nero, I did receive an automated reply and have had no contact since.
