Terrible Experience - Would Not Recommend
I had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel, and it was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. Shockingly, I ended up injured due to the poor design of the room’s facilities. The double room was extremely small, and the bedside table had sharp edges that protruded into the bed area. In the middle of the night, I accidentally turned and hit my eye on the sharp corner, resulting in swelling and bruising.
Additionally, the noise levels were unbearable. The walls seemed paper-thin, and we could hear everything from neighboring rooms, including loud conversations and frequent door slamming. One of our neighbors was particularly noisy and kept banging their door, making it impossible to rest.
The breakfast was also disappointing—limited options and poor quality. Overall, the experience was horrible. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend staying here.
Popped into Loch Fyne for lunch today with my husband and had an amazing meal😋
With fantastic and friendly service from the lovely Aimee and her fellow colleagues 👍
A huge thank you to Des and his team for the warm welcome we recieved when we came for breakfast today. Nothing was too much trouble. The service, food and drinks were all great. Would fully recommend!
Went in today; was super hot so just ordered two coffees to sit in. Place was really quiet but the staff were totally disorganised and didn't seem to talk to each other so had to repeat myself several times.
15 minutes later and still no coffee. Went to the bar and they handed us them in cardboard cups & a takeaway holder. No idea why. Also gave us what looked like the corner end of a pastry as an apology for the delay; weird.
My partner went back and asked why it was in a takeaway cup as we were sitting in. All 3 of the staff looked at each other in confusion. Then said they will re-make it for me. Which was weird because that had nothing to do with my question - hadn't asked for it to be re-made, was asking what was up with the cups.
Used to come here between lectures when it was Cafe Parisienne. Really gone downhill since. Staff just didn't seem to know what they were doing, so we just left.
Loved it!
Food was all cooked beautifully, service was good and price was reasonable. Looking forward to coming again.
Although I enjoyed it all, I thoroughly recomend the tahini cauliflower and lamb shish.
Thanks!
Wouldn't recommend it at all popped in for a coffee with my sister after a walk along the hot walls, was seated in a small room waiting to be served for over ten minutes while staff were standing by the till area, one member of staff on her phone while other staff wondered past serving other people so we got up and left without any member of staff we passed on the way out even bothered about us
