Went in today; was super hot so just ordered two coffees to sit in. Place was really quiet but the staff were totally disorganised and didn't seem to talk to each other so had to repeat myself several times. 15 minutes later and still no coffee. Went to the bar and they handed us them in cardboard cups & a takeaway holder. No idea why. Also gave us what looked like the corner end of a pastry as an apology for the delay; weird. My partner went back and asked why it was in a takeaway cup as we were sitting in. All 3 of the staff looked at each other in confusion. Then said they will re-make it for me. Which was weird because that had nothing to do with my question - hadn't asked for it to be re-made, was asking what was up with the cups. Used to come here between lectures when it was Cafe Parisienne. Really gone downhill since. Staff just didn't seem to know what they were doing, so we just left.

The staff in cafe 113 are exceptional. They are so wonderfully friendly and accommodating, this is complimented with the delicious food and coffee. We became regular customers of this establishment very quickly.

Popped in with my Dad and sister. Good friendly service and great coffee at a very reasonable price, what more could you want from a coffee shop

We were walking to the museum in Portsmouth and arrived before it was open. Some helpful local students directed us to this café that wasn’t too far away. It has a pleasant interior, some outside seating and we were served by a very pleasant and friendly lady. The coffee was very good quality and was reasonably priced at £5 for two flat whites.

the atmosphere is arty, you are surrounded by contemporary art by the leading painter and artist Pete Codling. People are all nice and chatty and there is a lot of space. This is what I like the most, the space.

I work close by to 113, and so I frequent it a lot. I go for my morning coffee and very often will eat there for lunch. The staff are efficient and attentive, they can remember my coffee order in the morning which is always wonderful ☕ The food is great, Mihaela, the manager puts a great deal of effort into making the specials change so there is always variety to be had. My favourite so far, as a vegetarian, was the vegan fish and chips which was so inventive and cool and very close to the real thing. There's a lot of great vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. I love visiting 113, the staff are great for a chat but it's also the perfect place to get some space and block out the world.

Second oldest pub in Portsmouth and it is the highlight of the place. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The room is small with wonky electricity and plumbing, but I guess one must expect that in a 300 year old building. The wifi works well. Staff are businesslike. I wouldnt stay here again, but I'm glad I had the experience.

Never been met by people in a small business so annoyed to receive custom, tutted and huffed as I entered the shop, yes it was 14:45 and the shop closed at 15:00 but that’s no excuse. I ordered 2 rolls, once the filling was in the roll I stated which salad I would like in each and was told there was no salad left?? No discount offered and to make matters worse when opening the rolls outside the shop the fillings were incorrect. Another customer entered the shop behind me the staff members both rolled their eyes and gave him a dirty look, if you don’t want to be selling products until you close maybe worth advising a cut off time for rolls and food to be made. The filling in the rolls was a good portion and tasted good but wasn’t what I ordered. I won’t be returning
