The Butcher’s Breakfast was delicious, and what an interesting dish. The meal caters to your usual ‘full English’ cravings with bacon, eggs, sausage, etc., but puts a twist on things by offering poached eggs, and adding chorizo to the beans. The ‘cherry on top’ is the sweet pork belly, which was a very welcome addition. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice, with semi-descent views of the harbour. What makes this review a strong 5-star is the staff friendliness and professionalism. I would definitely recommend.

We were greeted and well looked after, especially as I have peanut allergy. My only gripe was the the portions were minute for the price, so sadly we will not be returning.

Came to Cosy Club on Thursday & the staff couldn’t have been more wonderful! They were so attentive and kind. I had a fish finger sandwich and it really was one of the best I’ve had. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more if you’re visiting Gunwharf.

The third or fourth time we've been here, but our waitress's reluctance to serve us didn't make our experience particularly enjoyable: ('What do you want?' in an annoyed tone is hardly the best approach when I finally got her attention after 20 mins waiting for her to look up from the bar counter).

Nice ambience, food and drink on the pricey side.

Waiter was not particularly attentive to our dietary constraints despite this being one of the first questions asked on arrival. It wasn't that busy so we wondered why he was somewhat distracted and showing a lot of nervous/stressed energy at every interaction. Food and drink was exceptional.

Good service but disappointing food compared to other cosy clubs, chips were stale and the burger mediocre. Other branches are better.

New Year's Eve celebratation was amazing at Cosy Club! Such a great service, always kind staff. I've never eaten so delicious beef steak, it was soft and full of beautiful flavours. 4 course menu, with scallops, king prawn, beef and my absolute favourite dessert with cointreau.

Nice place to go for lunch and the food is nice, think the non alcoholic drinks could be better for £5 a pop but otherwise an easy place to go for lunch or drinks. Have to bare in mind that you need to climb two flights of stairs to go to the bathroom

Unfortunately. We didn't get to try the food. It was very busy and despite being told twice that they were getting a table ready, none came. We left after standing waiting for 40 minutes. This could have been because we had our dog with us as we were bumped twice and tables given to customers without a dog.. It was a real shame as the reviews we had read were great. We usually go to Bar One (which is great by the way) but fancied a change. Could be we caught them on a bad day and it was day after Boxing Day so vey busy.

Still waiting for my food table ordered for 13:00 now 14:03 wouldn't come back here don't come if you're hungry. When food arrived it was luke warm, burger tough not with £19:50, pie no turkey in it. Manager compensated bill but still not worth the money. Front of house staff very good let down by kitchen. Not on my list places to rush back to

Nicely decorated and spacious interiors. Shared some small plates which were decent.

Some of the best food I've ever had and service was great; the server team made sure we were well taken care of even in the midst of the full holiday crowd. Had both Christmas specials (burger and pie), the flavors were perfect and the two fish dishes, cod and the other white I believe. Cooked incredibly tender

Loved the place and the ambiance inside it. It’s amazingly decorated inside and gives good vibes. The music was great, and the drinks were good too, although on the pricier side, which doesn’t bother much as you’ve got great views over the water too. I do recommend coming here with friends for a drink 😊

We were well looked after and the food was good.

Although it was a busy Saturday night, we were well taken care of by our waitress. Nice clean table and the atmosphere was pleasant and warm. Had the ox cheek ragu which was so nice (compliments to the kitchen), my only wish was that I could order more! Will definitely order the same dish next time I’m in! Also they take allergies very seriously at this place, was helped by the host and manager who double checked my order didn’t have nuts and the allergy menu is really easy and simple to use!

Food was absolutely lovely, service could have been a little faster for dessert menu and for getting the bill but initial service from first order was fast, nice and warm and nice atmosphere

Really great service From Jess. Friendly and not over bearing. Great setting and atmosphere. Food was all really good had the seabass which seemed great value for what we had flavours were well matched.

Visited with my daughter for breakfast. Very warm welcome on arrival by tall young man. Both him and a young lady (seemed to be the only two working front on house on this midweek day). They were seating people, taking orders and delivering food and drinks to customers. Although it got busy their wonderful manners never faulted. They were excellent and deserve special mention. Food was as good as always. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Lovely place for brunch. The food was good (a very clean full English), the space and atmosphere are lovely and the service was very friendly - all staff were full of smiles. Particular shoutout to Jodie (if I remember the name correctly!); all our requests were met with an instant yes and smile.

Had a great meal back in December so took my daughter there for a Daddy daughter day as I'd heard they are very attentive for gluten free. We where not disappointed, amazing food steak Cooked to perfection 👌 and made my daughter feels she was as old as she acts. 10 going on 16 definitely recommend 10 out of 10.

Suprised how bad this was eating in other cosy clubs and similar chains this really fell short. Firstly the corner we were seated in was dark and miserable. Secondly the wait for food was 20-30 mins when it was only a roll and a tea cake. Then the worst part £6 almost for a bacon roll with 2 slices of bacon? I asked for it to be sausage and bacon for it to be just bacon and one miserable sausage on the side, which I had to slice and put in my sandwich, yes 1 sausage! But the worst was they tried to charge me £2.25 for that one lonely sausage which also was one of the worst tasting sausages I've had in a while, If you have a child it was like eating a rusk. The guy serving was nice however I'm afraid the rest left me with no choice but to give 1 stars.

I had a really nice lunch here with my partner on a hot, busy Saturday. Plenty of space both inside and on the balcony. Very friendly, helpful staff, lovely cocktails and dishes. My partner dropped her fork and before we looked under the table for it, the waiter had arrived with a clean one! Also nice to see a restaurant that doesn't automatically apply a discretionary service fee, but I was more than happy to tip anyway. Highly recommended.

Lovely breakfast, so went back in the evening and food amazing again. Service brilliant. All the staff were efficient, polite and work perfectly as a team. This restaurant is very well run and an asset to the company. In fact whilst we were there a couple near us had issues with allergies and the manager, I assume, went out of her way to explain the situation whereby not all the food was prepared in the kitchen. However they complained that the flat iron steak wasn’t as they expected so complained, despite eating it all! The waiter was very professional and handled the situation extremely well. When we paid our bill we conversed how well he handled the table. Will definitely return and would definitely recommend. Thank you

I have come with my dogs and they have been so welcoming and got water for my dogs without asking. Server was amazballs the most kindest person, food was exquisite and was just delicious. Will be coming again. VERY SKIBIDI 👍

Expensive and overpriced for size of portions you get..and there was lipstick on a glass that supposed to have been clean and ready for use on the table..yuk..

Visiting Cosy club on a Saturday evening and the service by Russ was excellent. Food was good but portions were a little small for my liking. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Will definitely visit again.

Cosy Club is a cozy place to go. It's just right in front of the Spinnaker Tower and it's located on the second floor. Went there for breakfast with 15 guys, reserved for 9:00-10:30, but they extended our stay up to 11:30. It's a great place to have fellowship with family and friends. This place is recommended, 5 stars guys!

We had lunch here during our visit to Gunwharf Quays. Had a lovely Cosy Club Sandwich. The food was very fresh and the service was excellent

Second visit to a cosy club. We tried 3 of the starters and 2 sweets. The prawn s were amazing. Chicken great. Mackerel pate a little too oily. The sweets were perfect. The wine was excellent, so didn't mind paying a little more than usual. Ambience and service were exactly as we'd want. Ed, our waiter went above and beyond. Definitely a place to visit.

Service was prompt and friendly, coping well when one of our party sent his steak back twice for not being cooked as ordered. Starters are on the small side for the cost but tasty. Generally I would say its over priced, probably paying for the view. We ate at 6pm so the restaurant was quiet, hence there was no atmosphere to speak of. On the plus side, we could hold a conversation and had good service.

Me & my friends headed down on sunny Saturday & had such a great time in this gorgeous location. Situated right next to the Spinnaker Tower the views are stunning & the outdoor seating area is lovely for the summer. For £25pp you can upgrade your meal to bottom drinks when you order something from the brunch or lunch menu (it can be as small as a side of fries if you're not feeling paticularly hungry) the drinks you can choose from are... 🥂 Prosecco 🥂 Aperol Spritz 🥂 Bloody Mary's 🥂 Cosy Mimosa 🥂 Marmalade Spritz 🥂 Peach & Elderflower Spritz 🥂 A selection of mocktails, juices & hot drinks For food we went for the buttermilk fried chicken, the dirty chicken burger & the Spanish chicken. We all went for the truffle & parmesan fries which were out of this world 😍😍😍 honestly the best fries I've had in a long time!

We went to Cosy Club on bank holiday Monday! It was incredibly busy so the food did take quite a while but our server, Jodie, was super caring and attentive. I didn’t realise that my meal had something on it that I did not like and Jodie offered to get it remade and handled the situation amazingly. I was super grateful of how understanding she was and really appreciated it. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. And Jodie was great :)

We have been here before and thought we would go again for breakfast but we didn't eat! We went in and it was fairy quiet, we ordered our drinks and 15 minutes later were given them and ordered our food. We sat waiting about 30/45 minutes waiting for our food, we could see the kitchen and noticed two plates of breakfast waiting, they must of been sat there for about 15 minutes and then the third one had been place there. The bell for the food went off about three times, someone picked up the food and walked over to our table. Knowing it had been sitting there for a while, my mum touched her food and it was cold! We were not happy that we had to wait for a long time for breakfast and for it to be cold! We said we didn't want to wait for another lot of cold food and paid for our drinks. I spoke to three people about my complaint as the manager was busy. We are not happy and unfortunately won't be returning!! What a rubbish way to start the morning with no food! Not happy!

We came here for a quick dinner after spending the day at the historic dockyard. The food was really tasty and the staff were all very attentive and pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely brunch. The food was fabulous. The recommendations were spot on. Lots of flavour and a decent meal. The dessert was my favourite the lemon mousse was the nicest mousse I have tasted ! Service was a little slow but a good experience and lovely diverse food.

It was alright but the wait for my food was very long it took almost an hour but the food was nice so was the drinks. If you do go to the cosy club you will see a lot of nice decorations and the workers are very nice.👍🏻

Lovely restaurant with a great atmosphere and good food. We had the brunch menu breakfasts & starters. The decor of the place is original and interesting. Love all of the large paintings on the walls. Was very busy when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. Staff friendly and efficient. Service was good. Would recommend.

Eight adults, one 16 month old and one 12 week old baby went for lunch. Prebooked our table and we given one with plenty of space for us, a highchair and the baby's pram. Good menu including excellent gluten free menutoddlers food was prioritised as she was hungry and so she wouldn't get fidgety. The food was very good and value for money. Can reccomend the custard tart for desert. Best of all was the level of service. Our waiter (sorry didn't get his name), was excellent. A level of service that you would find in a high end hotel or restaurant. This man is a credit to the restaurant.

Enjoy our first visit to cosy club.

We went here for a friend's special birthday and considering there was 14 of us, the staff did an amazing job. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly and attentive. Even looking after one of our group who has good allergies. Great atmosphere and lovely place to visit, will definitely be going back.

Our first time and we loved it. The decor, the ambience. Front of house gent was immaculately turned out. My only grumble is that they like to bunch together their guests. Sitting you right next to other occupied tables whilst half the restaurant remains empty. I understand it’s so it’s easier to serve the tables but maybe seat every other table. We really were too close to other guests when the restaurant wasn’t busy. The service was impeccable, the food was well presented and so tasty. We will be back, but next time I’ll ask to be seated a table away from other guests.

Very much enjoyed the visit. Service was perfect, really lovely staff so I feel bad that I was a little let down by the food. It was still very nice, but a little cold when it arrived. They were very busy though and it was at the end of brunch time, what I ordered was a brunch-only item so that might have been why. I will deffo visit in the future though as the atmosphere is magnificent and drinks very tasty. I think it was probably just a one-off with the food as I've visited Cosy Clubs elsewhere in the past and enjoyed the food immensely!

We only had a couple of the starters as a snack and were not there for long . Really tasty ! Kind of regretted not going for something bigger . Lovely surroundings. Service a little weird as it took them ages to acknowledge us ! Almost didn’t bother till the hubby went and asked if someone could serve us . All in all not a bad experience. And the small amount of food we had was really good

I liked the set up and ambience of this lovely restaurant . It’s on the upper part of the restaurant area in Gunwharf quays , near the Spinnaker tower . We skipped starters morning straight to our mains , we had mushroom and chicken rissoto and salmon teriyaki . The portions are small I must say so I suggest either starters or side dishes too . They also do small plates if you aren’t hungry . The desserts are around £8 not didn’t have one . There is a good selection of wines , cocktails , smoothies . Liked this place but disappointed in the plate size .

Rude and uncouth Manager name Ed very bad attitude, who racial profile me after I made a complain about the rude staff who only give one margarita when ordered 2 for £11:95 in teatime tipple also brought my husband Irish coffee with the cream filled the saucer, then when cleaned up the cream was off and had the audacity to say we had been rude when complained, so disappointing with a nice venue like this.

I ordered Seasam salmon, my husband 8 oz steak, medium done. We have got food after 55 min. It is ok, we undersand, a lot people. But steak and salmon were overcooked and burned. We ordering that meal often and we know what portion should be. It was half of portion. Virgin Mary tomato juices was too spicy and amount was much less in the glass as usual. I am glad that my sons have good food. My evening was ruined. I can send photos what we have got in this restaurant. I complained about bad food. They offered to coock new portions but we haven't time to wait of order again. They do not offered any discount. Disapointed.
