Gyroland in Portsmouth

Ordered the chicken gyros, it was made quickly, simple ingredients but it was lovely and light too so you could still have a beer afterwards without exploding.

If you ever get your food it is really nice - but they lie about how long delivery will be. On Justeat they say delivery in 30 mins, I've ordered at least 5 times and it is always over an hour. I will never use this place again as I waited almost two hours this time, I called them and they said "it's just left" I cancelled the order....

Very good quality Greek food. Fries inside wrap were overcooked. Delivery charges are quite high compared to other restaurants.

Got a notification saying "enjoy your food" after not having a knock on my door or any call to my phone. Either delivered to the wrong place or just didn't bother. Very disappointing

I can never usually be bothered to leave a review but I'm so happy that I found souvlaki in Pompey, and it was delish too!! I want to marry those fluffy pitas and caress them through the night

Food is ok but very stingy on quantity. Ordered the 5x courgette fritters and a side order of fries. What arrived was 4x courgette fritters and about 1/4 of a normal portion of fries.

Food was lovely, service not so, phoned after waiting 25 minutes from food showing as sent, didn't answer and then when did, the guy just hung up whilst i started talking, Very Rude.

First time trying this store, absolutely amazing service. Banging food, 10/10. Definitely coming back. Would i recommend? yes!

Very disappointed. The order was delayed twice,it showed on the app it was on the way and arrived 45 minutes later.The food was cold and dry ,we could not eat it ,we just bin it.

First time order and never again. Ordered at 7.20, delivery came after 9, after I had to call the shop 3 times, as they weren't picking up. They admitted the food is sitting there on the shelf. Food obviously came cold. No apology from delivery guy, shop to at least pop in another drink. Nor able to cancel tips. Food overpriced. Especially the dessert.

Absolutely lovely food, loved the mixed grill box, everything was delicious, highly recommend.

The mixed grill is the perfect hangover cure, really decent food, with yoghurt source, salad, chips and perfectly cooked meat. It's just a shame they close early some days.

Hi sorry to have to say that the food when it eventually arrived was cold had to reheat for my six guests who were here celebrating a birthday well over an hour late and at checkout would not let me submit my vouchers so it was very disappointing as we ordered early 7pm so that we would not encounter any problems

Mixed grill is great, a regular order of mine when I'm in Portsmouth. Delivery driver was a decent bloke too.

Restaurant text came through the food had gone out for delivery at 19:25 and was due by 19:35 latest. Yet 30mins after supposedly having left the restaurant still hadn't arrived. Sent a text through just eat after which suddenly the arrival time was adjusted to 8pm. It finally arrived at 8:10pm. Tastes good but was pretty cold and chips were soggy, which is to be expected after 40mins journey I guess.

Visited the place on a saturday and the food was amazing! Will definitely recommend!

Great food and good value for money

Food took an hour and a half to arrive, Was also cold and the two pork wraps were basically chip buttys with 2 bits of pork in both. 3 portions of chips were also cold and soggy. Chicken gyro was full of chicken but also cold!

Magnificent food and lovely experience One of the best Greek takeaway in Portsmouth I ve had the souvlaki chicken in a box Served with fresh salad ,chips ,beutifully seasoned chicken,fresh tzatziki sauce and lovely greek pitta bread Will definitely be back soon The place is beautiful and it can accommodate large groups !

Not much I can say apart from ok. Not the worst Greek food iv had but definitely not the best.

Love my pork gyros, but the 3rd time now hard dried out meat, like it was cut from the spit last night and it was cold and late. Will be using Stekis from now on

This place is amazing! They make some of the best food in Portsmouth. Always super friendly and kitchen is immaculate. The mixed grill box is my personal favourite and the calamari is fresh. You won't be disappointed with anything you order from here. Very highly recommended for eat in and takeaway.

First time ordering. 3 gyros , 2 were nice, but the third had a large bit of chiken skin. Skin may be normal, but that large skin bit put me out. Pork was amazing.

Love my greek food, but disappointed 😞 with todays mix grill. Chips cold, pork gyros cold and dried out, not fit for consumption. Sausage very salty, but guess that's a matter of taste. Rest was ok really, just hardly any olive oil in the greek feta salad. Good job I had some at home.

Friendly and lovely delivery driver. Food was good however my slight pick up is that the sauce pot was too big for one person and cost a little too much I would say personally for what you got. Maybe the same thing (slightly smaller pot and half the price. But aside from that very nice food I would definitely go back again.

Authentic Greek gyros ,incredible food.if you haven't tried before,highly recommend. The best takeaway I've had in a while,everything was so fresh and tasty. I have had the mix grill wich gives you a full meal ,you get salad ,chips ,pitta bread ,tzatziki sauce and 4 types of meat(pork ,chicken,lamb and beef)+ a traditional Greek sausage! Good job GYROLAND!

Looong waiting time.... food arrived 15 min after the delivery window..... food was okay

I've ordered a few times from this restaurant in the past and despite the long wait time and a couple of times the food was 10-15 min late the food was very nice. Today... the food arrived 30min after the delivery window. 10 min after the delivery window it stated 'enjoy your food' which means the food was delivered.... i tried to call the restaurant 5 times but no answer.... another 20 min later the food arrived... COLD. VERY DISSAPOINTED and its put me off now.... too bad... but i wont be reccomending the restaurant anymore to friends and i won't order again any time soon.... shame!

Very late and stone cold on arrival again. I like Gyro Wraps, but slso the last couple of times lots of chips and very little meat. Not worth buying anymore. I'm off to the other Gyro seller in town.

I ordered a chicken gyros. Food turned up on time but a pork gyros was delivered. Luckily I eat pork, so I thought I’d give it a go. Pork was dry and burnt in some places. The chips were soggy and unseasoned. And the bread was wet? (Who knows why?). I wish I was religious and didn’t eat pork so I wouldn’t have to put myself that. Never again.

I ordered just after 20:00 it’s now 21:21 and it has just arrived, the gyros wrap is soggy and cold and so is the pitta for the hummus, very disappointed and would like a refund to be honest, could have just gone to bed

Ordered through deliveroo, took well over an hour and by t he time it arrived was inedible. Might have been nice when it was cooked, whatever day that was. Went straight in the bin. Please don't use them unless you can see them cook your food.
