Brewers Fayre in Portsmouth

A huge thank you to Des and his team for the warm welcome we recieved when we came for breakfast today. Nothing was too much trouble. The service, food and drinks were all great. Would fully recommend!

Came in round 6pm with some friends are table had to be sorted out because people were sitting on it the whole place was all chaos the duty team leader that was on which is Victoria which I heard from staff that she was out back on a bench sleeping because she couldn't keep up with the business and shes just shown her face at 7:50 tonight. And I feel there should be something done about it. If she can't manage a restaurant then she shouldn't be here.

Des looked after us well. Food was average and play area. I would go again. Kids enjoyed it. Its really good location. Sun was shining for us

Love this place always welcome staff ( Vicky Patrick and the star of the venue DEZ) are so accommodating and proper look out and after you Food is amazing drinks ( especially the cocktails) are yummy and always a good atmosphere! Will always continue to go there ! Thank you All for always going above and beyond for us 💕

Terrible service, awful food We reserved a table for Friday lunchtime as we would be visiting with an elderly relative and small children. Despite ordering promptly after arriving, our food took 45 minutes to arrive. We were not informed there would be a delay; the venue was not even at 50% capacity. The children were understandably grumpy and hungry. It was difficult to hear our relative with the noisy background. We were asked if we had any allergies, but when we said we did, the staff handed us the allergen folder and we were told “you can check it”. This is the first time we’ve ever been handed the folder and made to feel like we were a nuisance for having a serious allergy. I would not recommend eating here, it was a waste of time and money.

Wiki, John and Miles were lovely. Nothing was too much for them. Made our Christmas meal magical! Food was nice, the staff were super nice too!

The wife and I went to the brewers fayre southsea for lunch on monday has soon as we walked through the door we got a lovely welcome from des (derek) we sat down at the table when we went up to order des made it such an enjoyable experience very jolly and polite we really enjoyed our meal and overall experience was the best des (derek) should be proud of himself a real asset to the restaurant and brewers fayre southsea well done will be going back in December for Christmas once again a big thank you to des.

Des the barman was very friendly and very helpful we had cocktails just wow rum punch was amazing especially when it was recommended by Des thanks for being so helpful

We took our young grandchildren there during terrible weather last we We were originally told would there would be a long wait--it was actually a lot less. . We did not know there was an indoor children's play area there, so a great facility on such a day and made the wait fun. The kids loved it and we had difficulty getting them to come and eat. The menu was varied with a good range of vegetarian. Kids menu was good and the children really enjoyed their meals. Our waitress, Katie, was friendly and very helpful--asset to the place.
