The best restaurants in Nelson Portsmouth South East

I live 2 minutes away from the restaurants. every Sunday I have a roast. normally it's excellent 5 star, this week it was lamb. it arrived cold ,needed microwaving. The lamb turned dry. also its listed as giving reward stars, I now no longer do and the ones that I had have disappeared.

My order was missing 4 items...called the restaurant and the said they coukd refund me.

Gotten really expensive, for what you get..

Standard Spoons pub with a good selection of draft beers, larger, wines and spirits. Happy friendly staff. Good prices. Plenty of seating, down stairs only. Accessable to all. Free Parking around the local area.

I asked to move seats to a quieter table and was refused. The guests on table next to me were very loud. I have hearing difficulties so the meal was a battle get heard. Not the best - food cheap and cheerful as per usual.

Popped into this pub this afternoon after 30 years. Got to say the food was amazing, but they don't have any portion control on their chips lol. Well worth a visit if you're in the North End area.

Last week de garden ubereat system was breakdown all delivery fee was wrong and now the system was recovered.Yhanks

I always get a good meal from this place. The trouble with all these Delivery Apps, you have such a wealth of takeaways to select from, and knowing which one to go for can be a minefield. Lucky Panda is a good bet. What I like about them most of all, they are consistent, and the food is tasty, it actually tastes like Chinese when so of these places, well, the food can be bland. Definitely worth a try if you have never had a Chinese locally before.

I regularly visit for a coffee,which i always have it made with oat milk all the staff are polite,lovely,welcoming,they are a hard working team,go out of there way to please,they have been known to go over to the shops to get my oat milk,if they run out,such good service,thank you to all the staff.Wendy x

We ordered a chicken bhiryani and the chicken was so hard not fresh it was dry and hard this was not freshly made and was not worth £12 the aloo tikki was very oily the naan ok and chicken Karahi was nice but not fresh the food doesn’t taste fresh it’s like when I leave my left overs in the fridge for a few days The service was good tho I would not buy food from here again

Always great food quality even when delivered. Staff are always friendly too which is great. Without a doubt the best Indian takeaway in Portsmouth all round!

I ordered two waffles but they gave me only one cup of vanilla icecream which generally comes with each set of waffle . And also i chose whipped cream for both of the waffles but they gave me only vanilla icecream that too only one . And i asked them cutlery also they didn’t gave me . That’s being irresponsible and not concerned on customer’s details . Hope u don’t repeat it next time !
