Absolutely disgusting. Sent 1 wrong item , called they send they would send correct item but it could take up to an hour , okay with this tried to call back after an hour and a half and they picked up the phone then put it straight down again. Very rude in my eyes. Food was tasteless and not very warm. Will never use here again.

I use this take away quite regularly and I’ve never once been disappointed. I would highly recommend. Their prices are great too.

Food is decent when u get all of it phoned up was told the missing items would be brought down no rice! now my mises moaning that she wants rice with her curry esle she ent eating it was told would be here in ten mins been over an hour now time to find a new takeaway unfortunately walking to mcdonalds so everyone ent starving

No meal has turned up! Looks like Address wrong on the app, I’m 1 southbourne avenue not 3! Ordered Fri you loads of times, where has this order gone? I want my money back

Missing some of my items , curry crushed and leaking in bottom of the bag poppodoms soggy and like stale paper just as chips were . No flavour to any of it all very bland and quiet frankly rubbish waste of money will not order from here again

Completely wrong order delivered

The food arrived and the curry had exploded everywhere in the bag and had covered half of the order.

Really good honest curry. Never had a bad takeaway from here. Portion sizes are spot on food is really tasty, and the staff are all really polite and professional. Would highly recommend for a night in.

Best curry I've had in a long time

Very bad customer service you girls on desk are very rude and carefree. I contacted the takeaway to alert them of my missing items to which they did not seem to care and was laughing down the phone messing about food was cold overall very disappointed from stamshaw takeaway. Very disappointed as this new management has no respect for returning customers

Food was very tasty and fresh, the special mixed curry was supposed to have beef chicken and prawn but only had chicken, was still tasty but was looking forward to prawns! Will order again!

Absolutely appalling. Have just received my order, and it was all smashed in the bah. Half of my curry was all over the other packaging and in the bottom of the bag. Most of the food is cold.

I had to drain my tarka daal, over half the tub was oil, even after mixing it was pure oil. It was so salty. very disappointing. we were regular customers but will be thinking twice after this experience.

This restaurant is out of this world, their curry's are amazing and very tasty, the naan bread is top quality and so are their onion bhaji, I will be returning here like always as it is my favourite restaurant for a very tasty meal.

Got a takeaway from these guys this evening. I appreciate curry isn’t necessarily the best thing to transport but when my curry arrives like this in the bag I think it’s a bit unacceptable. Half of my curry was in the carrier bag it arrived in!! Probably the only dish that was actually a bit more curry like than all others and buried right at the bottom where it just got squeezed out! Food was good regardless but really disappointing when it arrived like that! Had to scrape most of the sauce off the top with chips and popadoms!

Food was unfortunately not upto it's usual standard. The quick delivery made me feel that this wasn't cooked fresh and could have been leftovers. Not tasty at all. This is normally our favourite Indian in Portsmouth, but was highly disappointed this evening.

Normally lovely from here but the mild disj was so spicy I couldn't even eat more than a mouthful. Even the salad had some sore of Peppa on..gutted and waist of money

Not for me. First time ordered from here but unfortunately thought it was very bland. Not what you want from an Indian. Was fresh and hot but sadly tasteless.

I thought my meal was OK, my other friends were not so keen on their dish. No complimentary onion chutney or poppadums and also a high service charge. Food delivery - went to the wrong house even though the correct door number was on the order, rectified when delivery driver called me.

Just finished my chicken tikka korai here here at the stamshaw tandoori and it was 10/10 so so tasty best I've had in a long time

Very, very impressed. Beautiful, authentic Dansaks! Bang on time, hot and the quality of individual ingredients were supreme… tikka chicken was flawless and breads were perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND and I’ll definitely be ordering here again/this will probably now be my local.

It is the second time ordering from here first time was really lovely this time not so much when we got our order it had spilled out in to the bag so our containers was only 3 quarters full and where it had spilled in the bag it was all over the containers so it has stained the worktop the food was also cold

Ordered a meal at 19:40 and had to call at 20:59 to ask when our meal was going to be delivered, only to be told they were doing our order then! It arrived at 21:40! With some parts of the meal missing, poppadoms and salad for our Shahlick. They did apologise....but 2 hour wait is ridiculous on a Wednesday evening. Sorry Stamshaw Tandoori, you will not be getting our custom again! Sad really when we have been using them for some years now, but this service was not good.

Probably the worst meal that I have ever had from Stamshaw tandoori, and I've had quite a few meals from there. The entire meal was warm at best, chips had to be thrown in the bin as they were like rubber. Then on top of that 95 mins delivery time (not the first time) They have just lost a loyal customer I will be ordering elsewhere in future.

If I could give 0 I would. Food came after 2hours 15m it was 7pm Sunday. Driver didn’t have any change on him, tapped his pockets like he magically found some. Got the tip he wanted followed by me saying hope it’s worth the wait. He laughed. (I always tip if I have a reasonable wait time🤣) The Masala sauce was so watery nothing worse! Mint sauce watery, ran off the popadoms too. King prawn masala passanda left a nasty taste in our mouth and definitely not king prawns .. the prawns we did have was also diced into very small pieces very odd. Do not order here if you like your health.
