We tend to arrive at the train station earlier so that there will be time for tea and coffee before departure. Nice staff and service, coffee is excellent.
I understand they have moved to another location!
Second oldest pub in Portsmouth and it is the highlight of the place. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The room is small with wonky electricity and plumbing, but I guess one must expect that in a 300 year old building. The wifi works well. Staff are businesslike. I wouldnt stay here again, but I'm glad I had the experience.
We met for an evening meal, our first time in Mangosteen. The decor is lovely, the service was professional and polite. The menue has a good variety of choices for food and drink. We all enjoyed our meal, i5 was well cooked and flavoursome. There was pleasant music in the background quiet enough not to over come our conversation. Three of us had a two course meal with drinks for £80. We will return.
Good food very reasonable good service will go again it was that good
The staff are happy at the work which comes across when you are being served .Our waiter was very good with helping us with our choice of food
Desperate to try this place since the Son-in-law recommended it.
Being as he’s Italian, it should be good.
Pizza’s excellent.
No Pasta on tonight as they had run out.??.??.?? Also no Tiramisu..??..??
What Italian is missing those two…?
That being said , we had a really pleasant evening….Not particularly cheap. 1 Garlic Bread, 2 Pizzas, 2 Deserts, Glass of Wine & a Coke.
£65……..Maybe I’m out of touch.
Lovely cafe with great atmosphere and nice decor and furnishings. The coffee is delicious and they have a nice variety of food including vegan options. Always seems to be buzzing with customers which is sign that’s it’s very lovely place. Staff are friendly and welcoming which is always a bonus. Fast becoming my regular coffee place!
I had the garlic topped tots and as a garlic fanatic I can say this was the best garlic sauce I have ever had.
Service was amazing, quick and friendly.
Stopped in for a coffee and a breakfast roll of bacon and egg.
The banging Bass music made me feel glad that I didn’t have a hangover.
The coffee was great 10/10
The Bacon and Egg roll not so much, the bacon was microwaved to within an inch of its life and was inedible, making me remove it altogether and make do with an egg roll.
The staff all seemed like they were asleep or couldn’t be arsed (not sure which)
