I love Po Young! I eat from there at least once a week if not more.

I have been coming here for over 10 years and still am not bored of the chilli chicken no matter matter how many times I have it. The prices are reasonable, the service is fast and the staff are welcoming and friendly.

Bland noodles, bland rice. Oily, no taste. Young chow rice without peas, what’s that about?

As a student from Hong Kong this is my favourite Chinese food in Portsmouth, warm hospitality, generous food portion and taste like home.

Food turned up about 30 mins after ordering the chow main is very tasteless and the veg and chicken was chucked on top chicken balls are very small . Rice was nice but no free crackers or cookies :( won’t be ordering again .

Food qulity is so so bad. And no way to fix it. Lemon missing batter. And watered down. Chill beef with no sauce , lettece is literally every box, gross slimy and warm. Hosin sauce so thick you xpuld make peaks. Thinking out of date. 1/4 duck so dry it crumbled.. Actuall well upset ever box was gross 50 quid wasted. Water down satay sauce .

We ordered a take away and order £45 worth of food, every item of the food was cold sloppy and tasteless the chicken balls were under cooked and doughy , chow Mein was like something you would throw up 🤢 the seaweed was like big burnt strips of lettuce, after calling the restaurant and explaining to the guy it was poor and tasteless he told me there was nothing he could do and that he has been cooking this food for 30 years, the customer service from him was appalling and we were left £45 down and still hungry the children has waited and was look forward to !!! AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID AVOID !

Rice was dry, not enough sauce with the main course but the spring roll was nice and tasty

As a regular chinese takeaway customer, overall okay, food tasted good, some dishes slight overpriced, spent over £40 but we didn't get neither free prawn crakers nor bottle of drink or fortune cookies, also we collected in person. Just happy that it was open Sunday night late to feed our tummy.

Not too great not too bad, its just okay. there is worse chinese takeaway in Portsmouth. The chicken wings could have more peppers and spices and their Singapore fried rice could be more upmarket in terms of quality, overall okay not too bad but needs to improve, they seemed to be good last year in 2020, now this year they have dropped in standards somehow.

Definitely well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed.

Disappointing dry Kung po chicken - my normal Chinese takeout choice. Cheap but not worth it.

Certainly different. Never had Kung po without a sauce or spices and I certainly have had my share. Very bland fried battered chicken with veg and a few cashews. Very greasy. Singapore chow mein was also greasy and no spice. Portions good, but wasted when food not as expected. Price as per most takeaways.

First visit and definitely will be last. I usually order from noble house! But this one closer thought to have a go, I wish I hadn't and stayed hungry for the night!. Very bad food. rice and chicken was from yesterday or even day before. Very dry and nasty.

Very good place glad they are open now used so go in always with my mum and get food they have chairs so you can sit in (Don't know about now) while waiting and the food is just mm mm but yeah good food and yeah I gave it 4/5 because the wait takes a while so if your in a hurry don't go here.

Very basic decor but good Chinese freshly cooked and reasonably priced.

Visited today and ordered Chinese. TripAdvisor states it’s closed. It’s definitely OPEN Would recommend

Así que soy un gran admirador del restaurante Po Young y lo llevo. El servicio es sin falta, las opciones de comida son vastas y la calidad de los platos es alta. Pedimos más de lo que necesitamos, pero siempre logramos comerlo todo, a veces colocamos uno o dos platos en el congelador para otro momento. En particular, me gusta pedir sopa Wonton, el delicioso wonton se llena con un combo de carne de cerdo y gambas picado con chalotas y condimentos, servido con fideos de huevo, bambú y castañas de agua y un caldo. Muchos de los otros platos son favoritos regulares, pero pruebo nuevos platos de vez en cuando para ampliar mi elección y variar mis pedidos. Servicio muy amable, buenos precios, entrega rápida de alimentos listos para comer

Un día muy ocupado, no hay tiempo para parar pero es necesario comer y Po Young nunca desaprueba. Nos dirigíamos a casa, les dimos una llamada, pedidos y minutos después de llegar a casa, nuestra comida también estaba allí. Sabores calientes, bien sazonados y buenos bien redondeados. Tuvimos un orden de cuatro platos y con mucho para tener una comida "sobrante" tan genial en general. La sopa de bola de masa hervida, chop suey y chow mein son mis favoritos con el curry de estilo chino y los platos de arroz frito como finalistas.

The turned up very quickly I ordered 3 dishes and it came to £16 which I feel is a ridiculous price Now the food I ordered Sweat and sour chicken balls- the batter on it was so hard I had to get a steak serrated knife to cut them and when I did there was the smallest piece of chicken it Crispy chili beef- now when I order this I assume the beef will be crispy because of the name but unfortunately it was soggy and had a really bad after taste. Chicken chowmein- now there was a lot of chicken in this compared to other Chinese takeaways I have used , only problem is it wasn't mixed together so the noodles and the chicken and veg was cooked separately and you could tell as it had two different tastes, which unfortunately both didn't taste very nice at all I may as well have just thrown £16 in the bin and gone hungry and I wish I actually had.

Cuando llegué a Portsmouth que rastreé las todas las comida para llevar china hasta que encontré este.Yo soy exigente y pude ver la cocina antes de que pedí.Me señaló el fundador limpiaban la discusión entre cliente y aprendí que el arroz está recién hecha. Una vez que conseguí mi plato estaba totalmente ganóla comida muy buena, buena cortes de carne y no demasiado cebolla como que muchos establecimientos usarlo como relleno barato en las cajasme encanta el pollo mandarín así como el po de pollo kung.La casa especial arroz frito es bueno y abundante, con enormes trozos de carne y verduras.He usado este llevar desde entonces y que veinticinco años o másamigos les encanta y ahora utilizolo que creo que habla por sí mismo.

No tengo más que cosas buenas que decir sobre esta pequeña familia salía sentarse o llevar restaurante chino de cocina. Durante 20 años he disfrutado sus platos y la atención al cliente. Esta pequeña joya en el corazón de la zona comercial de la calle es un lugar favorito para muchos clientes leales y una maravillosa sorpresa para aquellos que pasan a siscovery y deliciosos platos o costos razonables.A menudo se le llama de entrega, el servicio es estupendo, y todos los platos antes de llegar a la hora programada, sin costo adicional. Me gustaron particularmente para pedir sopa de guiso con fideos, fideos de Singapur y bien francamente muchos más. El interior de Po joven no palacios pero funciona bien para aquellos que con sentarse en un coma, principalmente los clientes con recoger o entrega. Me hubiera gustado haber hecho post bien antes de esto, ya que sin duda merecen el elogio.
