Anglo Bangla in Portsmouth

I always enjoy my food from here. The Chef and all the Staff are very friendly. I would recommend Anglo Bangla. I have never had a bad meal.

Just had a wonderful takeaway, it was really delicious and very good quality. Everything was good, but particularly good was the tandoori chicken in the korma, really tender and cooked to perfection, the garlic naan was fab and the mixed starter was a hit! We also ate all the salad, super fresh (that has never happened anywhere else!) Portions were a good size, food was ready in good time and piping hot, really good value. Anglo Bangla do a lot for our community, we heard about them from my daughter having a korma of theirs as they donated it to the whole school and she raved about it then, and also today. We'll certainly order again, thank you for a lovely dinner and what you do for our local community

One of the best Indian takeaways I have ever had! The onion bhaji and the tandoori chicken was really good. Loved the service and food and atmosphere.

If you like a Parthia or Rajistani then try the Mon Passand, my favourite curry from the Anglo Bangla such great flavours.

Excellent tasty food cooked by friendly and passionate staff who understand quality ingredients and how to balance spices very well, especially towards the hotter side of things which can be hit and miss most other places I've used. Would definitely reccomend.

Great food as always, food arrive on time, piping hot and delicious, only a small complaint, onion bhajis have gone up by £1.50 but seem to have shrunk in size. I have ordered again as it may have been a one off.

Unreal food unreal service only landed in Portsmouth and seen this wee yoke of a shop, read reviews and read nothing but positives, tried it and as soon as we bit into the kebab our eyes lit up we demolished the food and paid a decent price.

just had my first meal from here..the dhansak meal deal...some of the best indian food ive had in my life hands down!!! i cannot recommend this place highly enough!!12 out of 10.

First time ordering last night and have to say the quality of the food, and general flavour of the dishes was excellent. The on display kitchen was clean as we collected our order and the staff helped carry our food to the car. Slight issue with 2 rice dishes missing from our order, but a quick call resulted in them being swiftly delivered to our home with no issue. We live very close to many other restaurants, but will, if such standards continue l, hopefully make Anglo Bangla our regular...so we'll see.

Anglo Bangla has become our favourite takeaway - the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is excellent! We’ve not had 1 bad meal from here, and would never go anywhere else! Highly recommended! The bhajis are to die for!

Go very careful ordering online because they actually charge you for delivery, but their website and phone operator are stating its free. They also only accept cash for delivery. Who carries cash around with them anymore? Whilst the food is decent, their service is horrendous.

Absolutely shocking. No customer service. Rude staff. No care or consideration for the profession they’re supposed to be in.

What a joke, tried to order and they where rude af, Could hear the Cher swearing down the phone not for me, in a nice neighbourhood you expect nice people not people like this 👎🏻 shambles we only wanted a curry instead a horrible response over the phone! Wouldn’t even let me order a curry what a joke!!!
