Anglo Bangla in Portsmouth

Chicken tikkas lovely rice lovely papadams lovely chutneys not so great the Mango chutney had a funny after taste and the other chutney the same think this also was a spicier mango chutney the raita was very low par but onion salad was ok. But will still consider should we be in this neck of the woods again.

Nice food but ordered for 7pm just after 6pm and food arrived at 7.45pm after chasing with restaurant & no apology from delivery driver. No complimentary popadoms (which we always receive on previous orders) and missing sauce for biryiani.

The boss is rude and the food was cold the place smells

I won a competition on Facebook ..meal for 2..I order chicken tikkka main meal and chicken vindalo and 2 x boiled rice..it turned up with naan bread, onion bhajis and bombay potaoes ..it was delious as always and so much of it that we have enough for tomorrow aswell..absolutely brilliant as always x

We had an excellent Dinner at Anglo Bangla. Especially mouthwatering Chicken Tikka Biryani. I'm a Biryani lover, tasted different types of Biryanies in different regions. This is my best and top ranked Biryani. This Chicken Tikka Biryani is enough to say Anglo Bangla is an Wonder of Portsmouth. Staffs are very friendly and respectful. Very exciting for next order. Initially, the wrong order was delivered. (Something for one person). As two of us were waiting to eat, I went out to buy from a local carry out. Much later, after we had eaten, Anglo Bangla brought my correct order.

Love the spice level in this curry, this and the Rajistani are my favourite’s. All the extras nicely flavoured and cooked plus good portion sizes.

As always great food, always piping hot and tasty. Only one little complaint onion bajji a little too well cooked for me I had to put in with my Pasanda to soften them up, apart from that fabulous.

Just had a wonderful takeaway, it was really delicious and very good quality. Everything was good, but particularly good was the tandoori chicken in the korma, really tender and cooked to perfection, the garlic naan was fab and the mixed starter was a hit! We also ate all the salad, super fresh (that has never happened anywhere else!) Portions were a good size, food was ready in good time and piping hot, really good value. Anglo Bangla do a lot for our community, we heard about them from my daughter having a korma of theirs as they donated it to the whole school and she raved about it then, and also today. We'll certainly order again, thank you for a lovely dinner and what you do for our local community
