Unreal food unreal service only landed in Portsmouth and seen this wee yoke of a shop, read reviews and read nothing but positives, tried it and as soon as we bit into the kebab our eyes lit up we demolished the food and paid a decent price.

Our first time ordering from this takeaway was great. My friend was given lovely chai tea while waiting, and the chef was super nice. The food was delicious, especially the Dragon Slayer meal. We spent £45 for two, but there was enough food for four. Highly recommend!

just had my first meal from here..the dhansak meal deal...some of the best indian food ive had in my life hands down!!! i cannot recommend this place highly enough!!12 out of 10.

First time ordering last night and have to say the quality of the food, and general flavour of the dishes was excellent. The on display kitchen was clean as we collected our order and the staff helped carry our food to the car. Slight issue with 2 rice dishes missing from our order, but a quick call resulted in them being swiftly delivered to our home with no issue. We live very close to many other restaurants, but will, if such standards continue l, hopefully make Anglo Bangla our regular...so we'll see.

I certainly recommend Anglo Bangla, if you walk thru the door you will be welcomed with a smile, very helpful if you're not sure what to order. The food is a treat, always cooked to perfection by the chef.

Go very careful ordering online because they actually charge you for delivery, but their website and phone operator are stating its free. They also only accept cash for delivery. Who carries cash around with them anymore? Whilst the food is decent, their service is horrendous.

Fool if you miss this place, best curry and made fresh in front of you. Sadly I’m moving away and this place will be greatly missed. The owner kamran, is a very talented chef and knows his stuff!!

What a joke, tried to order and they where rude af, Could hear the Cher swearing down the phone not for me, in a nice neighbourhood you expect nice people not people like this 👎🏻 shambles we only wanted a curry instead a horrible response over the phone! Wouldn’t even let me order a curry what a joke!!!

Ordered from here last night (Feb 17th) ordered for collection at about 1930, just after 7 had a knock at our door and they had very kindly delivered the meal to us (we only live round the corner). Lovely food as always, we’ve never had a bad meal from here & the staff are very nice when you do pop in to collect or order. One of our favourite takeaways!!

Me and my wife had a lovely meal from here last night. The staff were very friendly to me whilst I was picking up my food. The food itself was amazing, spiced to perfection, not oily or greasy as with some takeaways. Just really nice thick sauces, definitely the best curry I've had in Portsmouth. Thanks a lot guys!

Always great food, I recommend the Paneer Shashlik, great value and friendly staff. I can't recall ever having an issue with delivery, I order on the website and it's always easy and on time. Some of these reviews on here are a bit dramatic. Anglo Bangla are a great independent owned business with great quality food. Give them a try! I've been ordering for about 2 years

ordered from here,3 times now ,1st time faultless ,delivery, flavour,and portion size ,2nd time ,ok ,3rd time delivery a little longer but acceptable, one curry fine ,second curry was bland and not tikka and forgot nann bread, I phoned and said it would be sent out when driver returns ,4 hours later nothing ,won't be going back,shame its my nearest takeaway.

Incredible service, incredible food. Becoming a regular customer after never eating the cuisine before until recently. Owner is super friendly, accommodating and the food is always flavoursome, hygienic and delicious! I 100% recommend, even for a non local it’s with coming here for the great food.

First time ordering delivery. I ordered at 8.15 it turned up at 10.55. I had gone to bed, my friend had gone home. Didn't accept the meal as no one hear to eat it. I was looking forward to my Indian takeaway I ordered 3 main meals and 3 sides. Ridiculous waiting time I wanted dinner not breakfast, I will look elsewhere never order from them again

Great takeaway but just waited 3 HOURS for an online order and still not received it. Placed order at 19:46 still waiting for curry to be delivered at 22:56. Called twice to be told we're 2nd in queue, and then on way. 3rd phone call got a lot of abuse and hung up on. We called back to be sworn at again and then ignored. We used this takeaway numerous times and the food was great but this was unacceptable. DISGRACEFUL SERVICE.

Copnor is lucky to have this place. Great food cooked expertly with a flourish right in front of your eyes. There is no wall between the counter and the kitchen.

It's gone right down hill from what the bafgind takeaway was missed the drinks they never arrived and the curry is just so dry Won't use these again

Such amazing food it’s such a shame it took almost 2 hours to arrive, orders at 7.30 and it arrived 9.15, we have ordered before and items have been missing and it took an hour and abit to deliver, but this time two hours is a joke. Food was also missing again this time, I can appreciate its busy but if it’s that overwhelming then I suggest coming off delivery on apps, such as Uber eats, just eat etc. I know large restaurants often do that if it’s too busy so they can focus on orders. It’s such a shame we always go here but after this it’s not reliable for family meals, waiting that long is silly :(

By far the best curries you can get in Portsmouth! Ordered from here multiple times and the food is always top tier. Super friendly staff who are evidently passionate about their food. I cannot recommend this place enough, if you’re looking for a good curry in Portsmouth you have to try Anglo Bangla!

My favourite takeaway in Portsmouth. Ruined by poor service and poor delivery. Food 30mins late. I had to call and ask for a sorry. Such a shame… don’t think I’ll Be back for a long time. 😢 food also arrived cold

Just been to get a curry,buy one get one free.used to be you have to buy two sides to qualify, now you have to buy four sides to qualify, the ones I wanted were £13.i walked out in disgust at this ridiculous cost.sheer greed,some the food is good,but I will not be returning

Honestly cheated on me when I used to work for two weeks nearly there and it is been already 2 years 😅. Don’t want to say how much. The food was good but he is a cheater and cold-hearted guy who says doing charity biggest hypocrite. But for food i give 4 star ⭐️. Kamran is a good chef but not by character 😀.

Absolutely amaaazing curries. We moved to Portsmouth in December and have been trying out different places for the tastiest curries we can find. This definitely is the best taste quality and price wise. Absolutely amazing and understanding chef, we once ordered the wrong tikka massala, and he kindly sent out the sauce to us in a separate container within 10 minutes! Thank you for being a highly rated hygeine halal restaurant who love what they are doing😬 btw their mint sauce is out of this world. First time we ordered, it was taking a long time to deliver so we offered to just go there and pick it up but it wasn’t a problem.
