Sunday lunch time, we turned up & git a table. It’s a small place so booking would be advisable. Ordered from the meal deal, selection of pizzas and a drink for £11:95. It was sooo scrummy. We both really enjoyed it. It was so tasty & just like the pizzas you get in Italy. There’s also a shop there selling lots of Italian products at really good prices.

A sit down cafe/restaurant that also is a shop and handles phone in orders. Genuine Italian food, focused, of course, on pizzas. A simple and relaxed place to enjoy a snack, a drink or a meal. Friendly and helpful service. There is also a bar serving wine, beer and other drinks. If the phone-in part of the business gets busy, you can end up waiting a while for the meal to arrive. Being in the old part of Portsmouth, parking can be an issue at busy times.

We ordered pizza through uber eats. My anchovy pizza arrived with a small number of average anchovies and no basil. Nothing else either ( in their defense only said anchovies and basil, two toppings, not difficult, but missing 50%). Bland expensive £15 pizza. Nothing great, nothing terrible. Average

Absolutely delicious pizza, best we have EVER had. Great welcoming atmosphere, super friendly staff and all rounded off with a fabulous homemade tiramasu, will definitely be going again.

Stepping into this place was like a delightful journey to Italy. The pizza was terrifically amazing, bursting with authentic flavors. It felt as if we were dining in Italy. The decor complemented the Italian vibe perfectly. I absolutely loved that the restaurant doubles as a shop, allowing us to purchase products to bring a piece of Italy home. The homemade cannoli was a delicious treat, a sweet end to a perfect meal. This is a spot that the whole family enjoyed immensely, and I am certain we will return. We tried pizza with honey (I believe it was called Nicola), as well as further two pizzas: Diavola, and Pepperoni. The Diavola was a standout, simply to die for! This place has undoubtedly become our new go-to for an authentic Italian experience.

Very good pizza. I had a meat feast and was not disappointed. Actually had a decent amount of topping and flavour unlike other versions of this pizza nowadays. Only negative is that it shuts at 9pm which is quite early. Would happily have had another bottle of wine and dessert

Fantastic pizza. So light and fresh! The staff are really friendly. It's a fairly relaxed and casual restaurant, and I think that adds to the charm. Already dreaming of my next Florios!

We went in Friday evening at 7pm, the place was packed so make sure you book. You order food at the counter, also buy more drinks from the counter. We tried the gnocchi, lasagne and pizza, all absolutely amazing especially the lasagne! They have a great deli and good wine list. Don't miss this special place.

This was probably the best pizza that I have had outside of Italy. The dough was excellent and the pizza was really very good indeed. They also sell very nice cannoli if you still have room!

Lovely pizza and deli. Tiramisu looked lovely but so disappointing and underwhelming. Almost like the coffee and brandy had been completely forgotten. Lemonchello spritz - a must!! Enjoyable experience and would return.

Mix up over our order but when the pizza arrived it was well worth the wait. Would visit again. It was school half term and busy lunch time so worth booking.

Arrived at 8 as booked. Told we could perch on a ledge and when we said that we had booked a table we were told that was all that was available. The ledge was facing a retail area so we were left with no option but to leave. Poor customer service.

This is a Pizza and Deli. The food was excellent and service good. They serve Wine, Beer and soft drinks, and great coffee. Happy family atmosphere. Wish I had tried sooner.

I mainly pop at lunch times but I have also been here for dinner. It's always great, amazing food and the hazelnut gelato is just like kinda Buenos hazelnut flavour which is heavenly. I've been here with 2 people who have been to Italy, one has been multiple times and they said its like being in Italy, and the pizza tastes like that you would get in Italy... so coming here saved me a trip to Italy because I was only going to go for the pizza. (I'll stop saying Italy... now.) If I had one wish it was be more pesto please. But anyway, thank you for the delicious food and I'm already excited to go back and I got nearly everyday.

Superb pizza: authentic bases and quality ingredients. The arancini were delightful and full of flavour. The gelato was a hit with the kids. Great family dining, but there is no kids’ menu.

I didn’t think you could go far wrong with an Italian pizza place, but was a bit disappointed after visiting here for dinner! One big positive is the deli is really lovely it’s nice to have a little shop, but other than that the restaurant experience really did leave us feeling a bit miffed. First of all, it’s not cheap for a pizza place but you don’t even get table service ordering, The cheapest bottle of red wine was £25 a bottle, annoying considering they were selling £13 in the deli shop, the pizza was tasty, although had quite flat crispy crusts (might be to some people’s taste) and the aperol spritz was a bit off. Overall average/substandard food for above average prices. The seating arrangements were quite bizarre; we were sat as a fairly big group with a baby right by the front door and the shop, so we were constantly in the way. As the evening went on we noticed only the tables by the front of the restaurant were being filled, so everyone felt a bit like sardines, leaving the rest of the place pretty empty-I’m not sure if they were trying to make it look busy from the outside in? Overall I l really wanted this place to be great, but I won’t be rushing back

Visited here last weekend with my Mum and we had a lovely lunch. From arrival until we left, all the staff we came into contact with were really attentive, friendly and welcoming. When we first arrived it was only us eating for a while but then it soon got busy (including a visit from our local MP which was nice to see!) We both had pizzas - I had Papa’s Favourite - which were huge and delicious, though quite pricey (London prices) and finished with the most delicious cannolis! Very authentic tasting and similar infact to ones I had in Sicily a few months earlier! The decor is lovely, rustic and making you feel like you’re back in Italy particularly with the extensive variety of deli items to purchase too. Located in the heart of Old Portsmouth and a welcome addition to the area. Can’t wait to return - thank you!

What a great change from the previous tired, unfriendly pub. We have now been here twice to eat in and had a take away when they were fully booked. The service is very good and friendly and the restaurant has been well planed. Pizzas are a tad expensive, but they are very good. the base is authentically Italian, although they could be a bit more generous with the toppings. They offer an interesting selection of wine and drinks, for sale on and off the premises, as well as offering a selection of Italian delicatessen goods and excellent homemade gelato .

Really good authentic pizzas. Could have been in Napoli! Not a place to spend a whole evening but lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We shared two pizza’s between four and we were not offered extra plates . We should have asked of course but we didn’t. Think it’s all down to inexperience and know things will get better. Fabulous food excellent wines reasonably priced with great Italian music, who could ask for more.

Following some excellent recommendations we popped in for midweek dinner. We booked ahead and arrival and table were without issue. Having just returned from Amalfi I was keen to compare the pizza. I was not disappointed it was excellent. It’s self service in terms of ordering so you do have to keep getting up but the over all quality it worth it. One of the best Italian restaurants in Portsmouth. Magnifico !

Our third visit to the recent new home of Florio in Old Portsmouth, previous visits we had their wonderful pizza, we think they are wonderful. But on Sunday I had the superb parmigiana, a recipe handed down grandmother back in Italy. Simply the very best home cooking meal. Absolutely recommend this restaurant 💯 percent.

I used to get Pizzas from Florios when they were on the industrial estate. So happy they have a restaurant now. This is the nearest I’ve found to the pizzas I have in Italy. The restaurant is an old pub that’s been painted out white,...

Really cosy venue with great pizza. We had dough balls and calamari as a starter, and then the piccante al pecorino and porchetta pizzas. Such a nice atmosphere, really lovely waiter, and perfect food. I would recommend to go straight for the pizzas as with the starters it will be too filling! A shame the tiramisu was not available today

Although a little quiet the night we were there the food was fantastic. The Pinsa (pizza) was light but crispy, really fresh and just delicious!!! Would thoroughly recommend. Hosts are great, house wine lovely and my children thought the pistachio ice cream was delicious….thoroughly recommend
