The staff is very friendly and the food is simply indescribable. I had a pizza and it was fantastic. 😌 I recommend you eat there.

A beautiful environment with friendly staff, the food is good and fresh, if you pass through Portsmouth the advice is not to miss this place. Congratulations to everyone.

Service was a bit slow to start off with, waited around 15 minutes before our drinks order was taken and then around a further 10 minutes to get the drinks. Staff were very apologetic for the delay though! Food arrived fairly quickly and was of a good standard, with plenty of variety of food. There was a good selection of traditional desserts and the tirimasu was very tasty! When it come to pay, was quite a delay in finding someone to pay, buy this was partly due to them being quite busy, overall would recommend!

What a lovely place to eat! Food was un believability, fresh, attractive and delicious. The tiramasu was sublime and they will happily box any leftovers!!!!

TINY portion of pesto pasta with 5 small bits of chicken it £15! The half portion of meatballs and spaghetti was the same size as this ‘adult’ portion. Asked if this was a child’s portion and it was not. They said they’d put more on but it would be extra money. No thanks. The steak went back as under cooked when asked to be well done. Still came back pink. This came with 11 chips and no veg. The bread basket was two warmed up petit pan rolls. The 4 soft drinks cost £16. No atmosphere. Full bright lights with a freezing window seat. Half the puddings were off the menu.

Had a great meal. £15.95 for a 3 course meal very good value

Was really looking forward to a lovely italian. Starter arrived, very disappointed at the King Prawns, at £13.95 I expected a treat. Plate turned up and 3 prawns stared up at me. Main meal turned up, was ok. So sadly to say will not be returning again.

My favourite restaurant! Great chefs creating culinary delights. Excellent quality and very good service. Very affordable considering they use top quality products, authentic Italian taste, l love it!

Me and my boyfriend went here for lunch today after being recommended it by the jewelers down the round and it couldn't have been better! We both had the 3 course meal for £16 per head and the food was amazing! my boyfriend said it was the best pasta dish he has had and mine was outstanding as well. We went in in a rush due to work times which we told the server and he went above and beyond to make sure we were finished in time while still being able to enjoy the experience. We will definitely be back soon!

I have had authentic Italian food and this is not authentic. Wouldn't spend my hard earned cash in here even though there is very little choice in Fratton if you are on foot

We previously visited this place staff chef food hospitality’s 100% Unfortunately we decided today to go again because we had a great first experience we rebooked 🤯 We didn’t get to taste the food 1 Staff un inviting! The middle age male came across rude arrogant we waited to be served he felt it was more important to seat others and then attended to them before us no communication no Drinks Why? Mmm He then sent someone over and she then went to the couple that came 15 mins after us I had to say something so he sent someone over and she stood there with her book and did not even speak! Now we decide to leave rather cause a seen because most of the time that is what is expected ! Anyone reading this may have had this experience in life we have a few times just because ‘however Being BLACK gives NO-ONE the right to treat us with utter disregard ! Anyway now that I have that off my chest if you are black or of any mixed heritage I pray you save yourself a the embarrassment of dealing with such people. I wounded if they would have treated us differently if they really knew who we where !!!! Very disappointing!!!

eating here was lovely with nice food and a enjoyable dining experience in north end in the day time. Prices are good. For some reason they have comically large pepper dispensers.

Had lunch here before going to Escape Room opposite. There were four of us, We wanted a slight change to two items on the menu, which was no trouble at all. Food was lovely, good-sized portions, great decor, nicely set tables, and lovely, friendly staff. We wouldn't normally choose to eat in this area but this place was a lovely.

I have been to this restaurant a few times it's a really nice family restaurant to eat at. But if you have an allergy just avoid it, you'll be treated as an inconvenience. I asked what starters I could have ( I can't eat gluten) and was told my option was mushrooms, I said there was a caprese salad on the menu which is essentially mozerella and tomatoes, could I not have that, I was told repeatedly I could only have mushrooms. They either couldn't be bothered to deal with my dietary problem or didn't know what they were talking about. I skipped starters and had a gf pizza which was really good. It's just diapointing that a nice local place just can't be bothered to either learn how to deal with dietary requirements or to deal with them at all.

I booked a table for two for my birthday. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who swiftly seated us and handed us our menu's. The menu has a lot to offer. I went with the Arancini to start and had the lasagne for main course. My mum had the calamari to start and a pizza for her main. The food was beautifully cooked, Fresh and clean. The service was swift and polite and the staff were attentive. All round a really good experience and well worth a visit.

We have been to bella calabria for the second time and as expected we were not disappointed.. very friendly and helpful staff, high quality food and very pleasant atmosphere.. this restaurant deserves to be number one in portsmouth.. thank you so much guys and see you soon..

we travel for 4 hours to get there and we are going again on saturday the 22nd of this month we now live in norfolk used to live in portsmouth but its so worth the travel as cant find a italian as good in norfolk so 8 hour travel is worth it everything you want is excellent as is the staff alan and sally give it a try its so worth it

Very friendly staff, great food, reasonable prices. This may not be a quaint little restaurant but it is well worth a visit. Staff very happy to tailor menu to suit individual requirements.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza and paid around £13-£14 to get 3 transparent pepperoni slices over the pizza dough and 3 black olives. What a shame! Better to avoid this place.

Great friendly service. Deiicious food, generous portions. Our group of four ate raviloli, tortelloni, large salad and antipasta, and shrimp with pasta. The location is close to the Brittany ferry port and a 15 minute walk from the Travelodge.

Ate at this restaurant many times over the years but found their food OK. Nothing exciting about their pasta. Their sauce on different pasta always gooey and boring. I've tried so many, I've given up. Had pizza this time and it was average. There's not many restaurants to choose from in the North End area unfortunately. Not one of my favourite but it's okay.

Went there last night. Lovely food as always. Great prices, good choice of food, more than just pizza and pasta, if that’s what you like,excellent quality and very good service. I had the marinara pizza, really good, lots of topping, better than any local home delivery and better price too.

Brilliant restaurant. My wife and I come here regularly and have never had less than a first class experience. Reasonably priced food and drink and team of staff who care about your experience. Nice and cozy restaurant. Happy to return when I am in Portsmouth. Favourite pizza is the Pizza Speciale replacing sausage to pineapple and/or onion as I don't eat meat. The pizzeria would be better if they would have vegan options. (Vegan cheese). I think more people would come and eat. However I like the price of the pizza. It is absolutely worth it.

Very friendly and professional staff. Food served in a perfect timely manner. I would recommend the garlic mushroom starter, the best I've had in 40 years. Spag bol was the first time for me in an Italian restaurant. Very authentic and delicious. My partner had veal with marsala and also very delicious. Trams and limichelo flute went down very well. The house red is excellent value at £5.50 for a large glass. Better value for money than O Sol mio. Definitely are go to Italian restaurant.
