Always great food. Pizza, burger or kebab. Quick and easy to order online and any special instructions have always been actioned on.

First time back at The Oak for ages - as we're relatively local, I can't imagine why we haven't been for a while as we had a great evening. Friendly, welcoming and fun team, cosy atmosphere and great food. It won't be long before we're back!

Visited here on a Friday night and was deserted so should have been a sign of things to come. Service was ok but quite slow and a little unorganised. Unfortunately the worst element was the food, was very flavourless, had a Jalfrezi and was the most bland curry I’ve ever eaten. Friend had a chicken dhansak and only contained three bits of chicken. The onion bhajis were actually ok but were completely dripping in far too much oil and left a 1/2 cm oil puddle at the bottom of the dish. Really off-putting. Took ages to get our bill and pay despite being only one of two tables in the place. There are better places in Ringwood by a long way so wouldn’t return.

Freshly cooked and excellent as always.

Stopped by for lunch. Had the soup but it was thick like baby food and not very nice. Lots of bready options on the menu. Staff were nice.

No toilets in the café and 20 minutes for 2 lattes, despite only 6 people inside.

Brilliant. Good value, delivery guy was lovely & really made an effort to get to us. Food was delicious - particularly the chicken strips. Will definitely be ordering again

We were staying locally for a short break and drove into Fordingbrige . We dropped into the Tea Garden for lunch we were a little early for the lunch menu so had a coffee first . Lunch menu is nice and varied two of us had the hog roast sandwich and one a beef sandwich . Excellent quality of food and having a riverside table made it all the more enjoyable. Staff friendly and attentive and I would recommend it without hesitation. Dog friendly too 🐕

We came here for my wife's birthday having been here a few years back for a previous birthday where we really loved the fish menu. Sadly, since our last visit the menu has been cut down and isn't what it was. For a restaurant touting to be primarily a seafood specialist, it's rather lacking. No fresh fish of the day, or seafood platter here, just very run of the mill seafoodesque offerings. I was initially disappointed, and had there been another fish restaurant close by with space, we'd have probably left. We um'd and ah'd but decided "we're here now" and half-heartedly chose off the limited menu. What came out was very, very nice! The burrata and pesto we both had was amazing. The rest was just as great too! Put on a proper fish/seafood menu and serve it at the quality we experienced from the rather generic, limited current menu and you'll knock it out the park (and I'll happily give a full 5 stars!) Staff were casual but friendly and helpful. In short: not a great choice of seafood but what comes out is fabtastic quality and very, very nice.
