The best restaurants in Mole Valley South East

This was a convenient cafe to meet our friends and their dog before visiting Polesden Lacey which is only a short distance away. It was chosen as it was dog friendly and there is short term free parking here. We all had a hot drink and a cake. It was very ordinary and nothing to write home about,but it served its purpose We did not stay long as we wanted to get to Polesden Lacey as soon as possible. There were a few other customers who seemed to know each other.

Unfortunately I have to say that the food quality has gone down since we visited last time. Food was served warm but not hot, the portions were small considering the price. Taste was OK, but definitely not worth the price Unfortunately. We won't come back as now we know other places serve better food. The service was great though.

Quality of food was good. Clearly decent produce used, well cooked and flavours were all there. Price point is a little high for what it was though. Portions were tiny and it took circa hour twenty minutes for the food to arrive even though the pub wasn’t overly busy. All the waiters and waitresses were polite and the team at the pub were apologetic.

After a long hike through the Surrey Hills I stopped here for a spot of lunch and to catch up on some correspondence. This is one of the best pubs in Surrey, the food was amazing, fresh homemade cooking and a pudding to die for. Fireplaces stoked, amazing art on the walls and fantastic staff. 0% Guinness for the cherry on top. Good enough for me to write a review.

Good food good service very prompt and good value

This is a delivery service that delivers here at McDonald's from the back. Every time I get here to the chain to make the delivery, the order is never ready and they put it as ready, then the customer calls us asking if we're going to take a long time with the delivery, even though the delivery isn't ready yet.

Lovely big pub, varied menu (including non-gluten menu) and dining experiences, plentiful outdoor space and excellent staff. The manager is excellent and our server Nathan was very attentive, polite and could not have done more to ensure our visit was enjoyable throughout.

Absolutely delightful. Was recommended this pub by our friends and we booked for lunch with our dogs after a lovely walk behind the church opposite. The prawn cocktail was gorgeous! As was the burger and the steak chilli. Finished off with affogato. Staff were so lovely, attentive and the food was delish. Definitely coming back!

Very disappointed that it closed down, it is ideal location beautiful scenery, I'm hoping it will open again, it was great to have somewhere to go when your camping or caravanning, so hopeful someone will take it on.

A standard take away cafe. Nothing special but nothing bad. Fine is you are passing. The staff were welcoming
