Proper Fullers pub with all the best Fullers ales. Proper pub atmosphere. Sport on the TV, Dartboard. Friendly staff and accept Blue Light Card, well worth a try.

I remember, think his name was Andy, guy with a beard who use to own this pub. We are talking about the late 80's. Great pub back then. Today, still a nice place. Pool table has gone.. Oh well but they did have football on so not is all lost. What happened to Andy?

Great Chinese takeaway with a nice variety of well prepared dishes. The portions are a good size, making this a great choice for value also. I always get a hot & sour soup as a starter and all the dishes I've had have been good. Some of my favorites from here are the sweet & sour pork Hong Kong style and the Kung Pao chicken.

Booked to have dinner here many weeks ago. Was called by the pub five minutes before are booking time to inform us no food was being served! Are friends had traveled from far and wide in difficult weather conditions! Only to find a pub whose chef can't be arsed to turn up for work!!! Wow

Dined at Chifan for the first time since moving to Dorking recently and won’t go back. The food was ok and came out quite fast, however, the atmosphere is so unfriendly it made us feel uncomfortable. There were 3 staff members serving food & drink. One manager and two younger staff, the manager was clearly very stressed and was doing mostly everything themselves. The way the manager spoke to the young waiters was rude & uncomfortable for others to hear and they were clearly not enjoying being spoken to like that. Anything they attempted to do they were told they were doing it wrong or they were too slow. There was no music on in the restaurant and it was quite cold. I didn’t find the dining experience relaxing and will be going back to the new fountain garden in Dorking which is far superior next time I fancy this type of food.

First impression, a very small English Village Pub. One inside, the Pub is classic old English, nice. The room is dated, but all you need is there. The problem was the heating, the heating from the radiator did not kick in, so a November stay a little cool! Food and drink in the evening arson classic pub fair, so OK. Breakfast, that was a rush job in the morning due to going to a meeting, but the toast was not good and the coffee very bitter, so not the best. This could be a bad experience, but is in the area during the summer I will give it another try, as the location is lovely.
