New Yicken Takeaway in Mole Valley

Great Chinese takeaway with a nice variety of well prepared dishes. The portions are a good size, making this a great choice for value also. I always get a hot & sour soup as a starter and all the dishes I've had have been good. Some of my favorites from here are the sweet & sour pork Hong Kong style and the Kung Pao chicken.

Been New Yickening for years, banging grub, Old Rapid Rachel DOESNT muck about on the blower either

Excellent food, generous portion and rich in taste. I had takeaway beef with black bean sauce and spring rolls that are perfectly cooked cris. Best in Dorking for Chinese.

This is the last time I ever come to this place. You are very rude Asking for a gluten free meal and you said I can’t be bothered to change the pans over the years had lots of your food and this is the last time ever. Disgusting

Overall nice food but have had two deliveries in different months that have taken 2 hours delivery time. Rice was cold and stodgy. Beef chewy, duck cremated. Disappointed and not enjoyable! I would like a partial refund?

Generally very nice. Very good portion sizes as tins are bursting though recently I've noticed they are taking out more meat and adding more veg.

They always promise a one hour delivery but frequently it takes over two hours for your order to arrive. As it did again this evening. Simply appalling customer service!

Great Take away, good value for money. So much food enough for the next day.

I used to loved their take away , but last 3 ones where not good at all . Lost of monosodium glutamate which is burning your mouth . Even my son who loves sweet and sour chicken and never says no to it , didn’t want to eat . Crispy squid was so rubbery that I couldn’t eat and spare ribs where so burnt that there was only bone left . My opinion is not only after one order but after 3 orders

Truly awful food. This will be my last takeaway from this establishment. Everything was cooked in the same old oil so this meant everything tasted the same.

Tried the New Yiken for the first time last night, was average whilst it lasted..until the food poisoning kicked in for me and my boyfriend.

Always a great feed on top quality Chinese food.

Used to love the new management we live in the sticks and they happily delivered hot food, the last time it was cold and bits missing my son ordered it as I was at work when I got home he told me so I rang to complain and she said next time I ordered I would get 20% off. Rang up tonight she wouldnt give me the 20% and said it would be cold as we are too far out and that she couldn't work out the 20% as busy but would give me £2.55 off so it would round it up, and she really didnt want to take my order so i put the phone down...well no worries I wont be ordering from them again.

The first time we have used as it was recommended. The new owners are doing a fabulous job and the food tastes great but felt healthier. Usually the next day i don’t well feel well due to msg... no sign this time. There is also a varied menu so we will explore. Also big shout out to the new driver who got lost , rang me and found us is in 5 mins. Really pleasant. P

Was not happy with the so called plum sauce as it turned out to be runny marmalade and the duck tasted like it was under cooked. The special fried rice was horrible, I'm new to the area and was hoping for an impressive meal, I won't be goig there again, I'm going to try the Cantonese restaurant further up the street. ☹

Ordered chicken noodles ... 25 minutes later got beef, prawns and some broccoli thrown into one pot... No, thank you.

Absolutely horrible service on the phone, complete rudeness. I asked for a delivery and I got rudely snapped at and got cut of the phone line. Never going near that restaurant again.

I really like the food here. Its easy to get to and prompt with its cooking. Food is tasty but not a massively varied menu. Quite a traditional Chinese takeaway. The owner says they can also do other dishes not in the menu - all you have to do is ask! Definitely one of the better Chinese takeaways in Dorking. On par with New Dorking Cantonese for quality and taste.
