Visited in a Thursday eve. Burger night! Food amazing. Lovely burger crispy chips and amazing onion rings. Good atmosphere and music

came in with my parents and 13month old for one drink, used to come often but since change of hand has had bad reviews from locals so haven’t so thought I’d see for myself. We were the only people In there which is terrible for 2pm a Sunday afternoon when it should be buzzing Like any normal pub. The horrible grumpy landlord (known for his bad presence and rudeness) told me my son who at the time was standing next to me was all aloud to be unattended (well baby still holding onto my leg) then I said ok, but Proceeded to give me and my family that looks the whole time we were there for a drink.I would understand if any other customer there not there wasnt. The young blonde girl was lovely and understanding. The old horrid man was not. Won’t be going again like 95% of Dorking

No body oin the bar where we were sitting. 4 adults and one toddler. Lady behind bar was pefectly friendly and also young bar maid. Grumpy old man came out and told my daughter to supervise my grandson even though he was just toddling around in an empty bar. The old man gave us several dirty looks and made us feel uncomfortable whilst we were finishing our drinks, we left and will never return. Disgusting customer service., no wonder empty.

Thank you the Falkland arms for a great afternoon. Visiting with a couple of friends and ended up staying longer than planned. Good drinks, good atmosphere. We will be back.

Great pub in Dorking with friendly staff and great beer. There is also a nice garden area for the summer. Would definitely recommend.

I just wanted to use this space to say thank you for the brilliant hospitality you showed to my family and I whist watching the World Cup ruddy. Very much appreciated. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Visited this pub recently only to be told by the proprietor that food is no longer served since June. 2018.

This place was recommended by a work colleague who had lived locally years back and it certainly lived up to its billing. The food is not anything fancy but, for what it is, it is good. Well prepared and well presented. The beer was good too. A couple of guest ales that had us regretting that we had each driven here! The outstanding point was the staff. Truly excellent. Although clearly not local, we were made to feel so welcome. I so wish this was more local to me.

We popped in for a drink one weekday lunchtime. Very quiet and no food Mondays or Tuesdays, but they happily agreed nevertheless to make us a baguette. It was very tasty and served with a generous salad garnish, and only £4.50. The bar staff were really helpful, the choice of beers good. But the best bit was the beautiful walled garden. A peaceful and sunny spot, with plenty of tables and some sofas as well, under a canopy or in the open. Prettily planted and a lovely atmosphere. We’ve eaten there in the evening as well, good value, especially on steak night, although not a huge menu. Certainly a hidden gem in Dorking.

I’ve called into this pub a few times since Christmas, really good atmosphere never too busy, the beer is good and they have a good choice of gin. The sport is shown but not obtrusive if your not interested. The staff are really friendly as is the owner. Not eaten here yet but those who have are really positive about the food. Well worth the visit, will be back!

Enjoyed a couple of decent ales at this Youngs pub one evening: well kept and well served. The team are friendly and they serve passable pub food. I'm not fan of big TVs and noise, so I doubt that I'll be back, but, if you enjoy those facilities, the beer here is pretty good.

Since we first moved to Dorking, we were exploring the area for a good local pub that serves good food. We happened to pop in by chance on a hungry evening and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and warm welcome by Chrissy, the owner and Michael, the chef. The food they offered was top class and it made us feel at home. As we were in the process of planning our wedding, we thought that the pub would be ideal. The owners and the chef really helped in organising the venue and the menu, taking a lot of the stress away from us. The professional attitude, enthusiasm, creativity and years of experience created a fantastic day for us and our guests, even though the weather wasn't so kind to us:) All of our guests commented on the very high quality of the food and the presentation, but without removing the relaxed nature of the place created by the staff. We can't recommend it highly enough and it will be always very special to us!

We were attending a family event it West Horsley but staying in Dorking. We hadn't planned a meal out but had a last minute look. I called and they gave a warm welcome so we made our way over. It was a warm evening so we sat outside. The staff were lovely. Took particular interest in my welsh accent. We had a tasty starter of prawns and cheese. I had a lovely lamb shoulder and veg which was delicious. Great value and excellent service, especially with my son.

Went here for a change, I've been for beers (which are excellent) and decided to take the family for Saturday night tea. It was fast friendly service and the food was top notch pub grub. Definitely be doing this again.

Fabulous pub and great food. Roast Beef was superb - others had chicken and lamb and that too was fantastic

In there for the rugby yesterday, great atmosphere and a top pint of Bierra Morretti, back again today for Sunday lunch. The lamb was great as was the wife's beef. Great selection of veg and cracking gravy. Friendly, welcoming service as always.

Cuatro amigos y yo y las chicas un plus uno waitrose conocer aquí una vez al mes y ayer 15 / 12 cenamos nuestra navidad y una vez más nos quedamos muy impresionados con la comida. Siempre tenemos una muy cálida bienvenida de Teresa y siempre es un placer pasar tiempo aquí. Gracias y veremos en 2017.

El personal es muy agradable. Pintas siempre parece ser bien cuidado. En realidad no han tenido un almuerzo o cena, pero mi almuerzo ligero era muy agradable.

Visité los brazos Falkland con mi marido y mis suegros en el fin de semana de agosto. Cruzamos de Shere teníamos a Dorking y paramos aquí para el almuerzo antes de volver en bicicleta. Había una zona de descanso al aire libre, y disfrutamos de una cena muy agradable. El servicio era muy bueno y la comida era estupenda, en general, es un muy buen lugar para parar a almorzar y re-combustible! Nos sentamos fuera, pero el interior del pub se veía muy bien.

Really love this little pub. Food always great and good value for money. Sunday roast always lovely. Very well run and staff friendly and accommodating. Gorgeous beer garden at the back.

Chrissy and Gary were brilliant hosts and Tricky is a wizard in the kitchen - worth going for traditional pub grub and a lovely ale.Worth going to watch the rugby in and remember if you're outside and it gets chilly to grab their blankets

This pub is quite a surprise. The food is great and very reasonably priced. The only drawback is the parking but once you have found a space - in the road - it is well worth the visit

Located centrally in Dorking the Falkland arms has a Very Warm atmosphere with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The young’s beer is always great here. There is a good choice of bar snacks and restaurant food, everything thing I’ve tried has been very tasty. A big plus for myself is the multiple large screens available to watch all kinds of live sport events.Would highly recommend visiting this great Pub.

Booked here on spec during a brief visit meeting family. Great food, hot plates and great service. Would definitely recommend. The toilets were spotless too!!!

Well, I live in Westcott, shop in Dorking but have never drunk or eaten in the Falklands Arms until yesterday. All that's going to change!Walked into an instantly friendly feeling nice open bar area with an excellent beer choice (and kept in an excellent condition too, it has to be said).Table was pre booked by others in the family so we walked into the restaurant area and sat down to a well laid out, well spaced table. Orders taken almost immediately with a choice of three different roasts. I went for the beef and was served with an absolutely gorgeous plate of perfectly cooked rare (as ordered) meat, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. Further bowls of fresh hot vegetables and more Yorkshires followed. All piping hot and delicious. Good wine too, didn't see the list as someone else chose but the Merlot we had was excellent.Dessert was apple pie with cream, custard or ice cream. I asked for all three and got them!! No small portion either!!I could go on, the service, the friendliness, the happy atmosphere. Nothing was too much trouble and I loved it.Going again - Oh yes!

One of the best pubs in Dorking. Fantastic food and fantastic beer. We go all the timeI would recommend going during the rugby for a good atmosphere

enjoyed a lovely meal last night. fresh and hot. pork chop was tender and perfectly cooked, shallot mash the best i have tasted. quiche was superb. will definitely return. wish i had found this pub earlier as they also have a great outdoor area and beer garden.

The worst pub food I've had since I moved to Dorking, came last month, and the quality of food have changed. disappointed with the food and service quality now

Lovely pub tucked away from the main high street in Falkland Road. Very nice atmosphere, lovely garden. Good Pint too. They do food too which I have heard is excellent and value for money. Also check out their website as they do have live music on a regular basis.

Very nice place very clean .good food had to wait rather a long time for food.to be served Thought prices were rather high for type of food, when you can get same £3 cheaper at another pub close by and as good.

Limited menu because it was Mothers Day. Lamb was ok - not the best I've ever had, but not the worst. Desert was not great, actually sub-par. On the plus it does have a very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Worth popping for a drink and a quick bite, but don't expect the world.

Wow!! What a great Sunday lunch. I don't really want to write this review because if word gets out how good it is it will be hard to get in. We have been meaning to go for Sunday lunch ever since my Granddaughter's christening party was held at the Falkland Arms last November, I was so impressed everything was top notch, food, service, atmosphere, value for money we couldn't fault it. A great venue for a family meal, special event etc. It has certainly had a complete re-vamp from years ago.We will definitely be back.....

What a fantastic pub! Crissy is the best hostess EVER! Fab food, prosecco for us snooty Cheshire lot .. And they put the rugby league on the TV if you ask nicely!!

We had our wedding meal and reception here and we could'nt of got a better service.The landlord and lady were more than eager to help with planning, setting up and on the day we were chuffed to bits with there efforts.The food was amazing, the pub was decorated lovely and all the staff were great.A great pub for a drink, a family meal or a special event.They made our big day evan more special....x

Picture the perfect pub/restaurant and you'd be hard pushed to beat the Falkland Arms.Fantastic husband & wife landlords , friendly bar staff , good food , lively company , televised sport , great garden , regular , live music and other events . I've never had a bad night here except for when I ran into my ex-wife there ( but that's hardly their fault ! ) . Great pub . Very acceptable restaurant , especially for Sunday lunch.

The Sunday lunch here is amazing. We recently came here with a big party, the couple who run the pub had been extremely accommodating. We ordered starters, mains and puddings and all where brilliant. My family who had roasts where delighted and they even served a vegetarian option for those who don't eat meat. Would defiantly recommend !!!!

Absolutely fantastic home cooked Sunday lunch, and so reasonably priced. Ran by a really friendly couple. Even laid on a requested Sunday lunch when it was a bank holiday Monday! They certainly get my vote

Lovely and accommodating management and staff. The beer is a little on the expensive side, but the food and garden make up for that.

Great little pub for a decent pub meal. Not microwaved like oh so many others. The owners are so friendly and funny. Even found a great band on later that night. So worth a visit!

After tasting the food once we booked the back bar for a party & were not disappointed! There was live music in the front bar which provided a good atmosphere & we could dance if we wished.Chilli con carne or chicken pasta bake was enjoyed by all our guests. Very good night!

Had fish and chips here for a quick pub tea. Was absolutely fine. Non greasy and very tasty but it's just standard pub fare so don't go if you're expecting anything fancy. But if you want a standard pub menu with all the usuals, then go for it. Couple of good ales here too and the staff were super friendly. It was very empty as we went very early so couldn't really comment on what the atmosphere is usually like.

I love this place ! A little off the beaten track and just like most English pubs from the outside. When you get inside though, you'll find a warm welcome, great bar area, excellent restaurant and a hidden (but lovely) beer garden at the back. Food is always of the highest quality and offers good value for money. If you are in Dorking you have to give it a try

A small, but ideal restaurant inside The Falkland Arms Pub in Dorking. A lovely terrace adjoining where they do BBQ food when the weather permits. Only a pity the place does not have rooms !!
