Lovely pub, staff were friendly, had the chicken sandwich which was lovely. My friend had hunters chicken that she enjoyed too.

The staff at the Brewery are always incredibly polite, helpful Ines is always smiling and always looks after everyone that comes to pub… it’s pet friendly I can bring my dog down and he’s also made welcome too… also they do a good lunch here so thanks to Edyta and Amy for my lunch it was delicious.. all the bar staff are absolutely lovely Sally, Maddie, Fergus and Finn always working hard and still delivering high lvl of service. I attended a Sunday lunch for my cousin's birthday and the staff were very accommodating, bringing extra roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and gravy. I had the lamb shank and the sticky toffee sponge, both of which were absolutely fantastic. As an aside, we learnt from the manager/owner towards the end of our meal that a table of 20 was due at the same time as our table of nine. That large booking never turned up nor did they have the courtesy to cancel, which is absolutely outrageous. Not only were extra staff on shift to deal with what the pub obviously expected to be a busy afternoon, the manager/owner also ended up turning away a table of 10 in expectation of not being able to accommodate them, if the table of 20 turned up. Given the state of the hospitality industry and pubs in particular, it is completely unacceptable for would-be customers to behave like this.

What happened to the Festive Set Menu ???? I checked out the pub's menus online before booking a table for lunch. I was attracted by the Festive Set Menu. Once seated we realised this wasn't on the tables. I went to the bar to enquire. Eventually a woman emerged and said the Set Menu isn't on offer in December. You couldn't make it up !! So I ordered a nachos...not the chestnut and onion nut roast on the Festive Set Menu online.... The nachos salsa and guacomole tasted like they'd come out of jars. Very disappointing. My friend liked his turkey pie. However..he reported the parsnip was woody ! Customer parking a nightmare. I gave up and parked in the nearby Peace Memorial Hall cp. Hence an average score. I wouldn't revisit.

Had a very nice evening Saturday night pub was very busy as they had a party on for someone’s birthday… but still received excellent service from Sally, Finn, Sian & Karen …. Didn’t wait long for drinks, food was delicious and as always the staff were working hard making sure everyone got served best pub in the village! 😝 x

Very nice atmosphere and lovely roast apart from the turkey I chose was processed and very salty and unable to eat along side 2 other guests on our table. The pork and beef were very nice.

This is a nice little pub in the Main Street of Ashtead. Theres a car park at rear with free parking for customers. Sadly, it was rather dirty and would not suit those who like to eat in a clean environment. The staff were super friendly. There was a limited menu with no soup and the roast did not have any potatoes. With better management and a minor refurb and thorough detailed clean this would be a great pub.

I want to thank Jamie and his bar team …. Jay, Fin, Sally, Fergus, Syan, Lois and Ty I had my birthday 🥳 party at the Brewery it was the best night, they did an amazing job making sure we were all well looked after. I am a local I’ve seen this pub go through a lot of chances but Jamie and his team have been working hard getting the pub thriving again, it’s a beautiful pub, we also love the food the new menu is has a really good selection and they Sunday roasts are Banging 😝 our beautiful village pub is definitely worth a visit and they are amazing at hosting any event. Pleasant enough surroundings and staff, food lacking though. Sunday roast served Luke warm, grey beef and roast potatoes like bullets. I couldn't be bothered to go and complain before then end, and maybe I've just come to expect poor quality pub food! I did mention it after though, and was just told, 'sorry about that'. No effort to make amends or keep our custom.

What a friendly little pub. We sat outside in the covered part of the garden which is very well laid. Even a dog feeding station which i thought was a great idea, water, bowls and biscuits for our furry friends. Well impressed and will certainly be back. Photos to follow

Booked an area for 30 - 40 people. No charge. Really nice area was put aside for us. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely outside area too. Some of us ordered food. Food was good value for money. Thank you for enabling us to have a really nice gathering. Will definitely return.

Beautiful space with amazing personalities behind the bar, despite it being my first visit I was really made to feel like a regular with great knowledge of the drinks available I was able to get pint in hand in now time. Worth dropping by 100%

Popped in for some lunch and the guys behind the bar were very helpful (I believe their names are Ines and Jaimie) responding to all my needs as I have a lactose and nuts allergy. The food came out hot and very appealing. Definitely coming back!

Town centre pub with good beer and good food. Dropped in for lunch and wasn't disappointed. The carpark is pay and display but the cost is refunded when you spend money over the bar.

Very poor quality food. Hard as nails avocado in a chicken and bacon sandwich. Chicken almost as hard but older. Beer/bitter ran out after 3 pints. Nothing else available. Owned by a large chain of 333 pubs, and it feels like it.

Awful service, awful prices, go elsewhere. Ordered a chicken sandwich on white bread and mozzarella sandwich on brown bed. 30 mins later was brought a chicken sandwich on brown bread and told there’s no mozzarella can they substitute with another cheese, I pointed out my sandwich was on the wrong bread could they make sure the other one was on the right bread. 2 mins later was brought a sandwich on the wrong bread and a single slice of cheese to put in myself-£7.50 for this sandwich. Won’t be coming again.

Would not recommend eating here food is terrible. Hunters chicken was just mozzarella on a bit of chicken disgusting should hunt for a chef. My wife had chicken pie with mash and it was just chicken breast with puff pastry on top and packet mash potato with a crust on top disgusting. I didn't bother complaining and asking for a refund simply because I couldn't be bothered after a long day. My advice would be not to eat here and whoever they have working in the kitchen to find another job they are a failure as a cook!

Haven't been to The Brewery Inn for a couple of years and was happily amazed with the change in menu. It's a nice pub with plenty of parking and well laid out and decorated. Excellent variety in beers / ciders, wines and spirits. Good vibe too. But for me, the top rating goes to the diversity of food choices !! A good option to eat plant based food without just the normal option of a no meat burger. I had the Almond Pesto Linguine which was delicious. Will definitely be back and happy to recommend 👌

Popped in for a bank holiday Monday food. The Pub has new manager . Service was very quick and the food was very nice . Bar/ restaurant area clean. Good location.

Slow service, poor steaks, pretty awful. 2 and a half hours for lunch. We waited almost an hour for our desserts (how long does it take to serve up a slice of cheesecake?) then just had to leave as we couldn't wait any longer. When I paid the bill, I handed in the car parking voucher for £2 refund; within seconds the waitress managed to forget to enter it. I checked the bill, saw it wasn't there, came back... Oh sorry, I forgot. Would you like cash? Yes indeed. We won't be going back.

Fish and chips and a hunters chicken with 2 drinks for almost £50, value of money not so sure. The food was good mind you. Our table was dirty. We had to clean it before we sat down. As we were sitting near the bar we did notice the number of customers keep having to ask for basic things like 🍴 napkins etc. From a business point of view, the staff are friendly and were on the go constantly. Our order came out in a good time but i had to ask for my bread and butter 4 times before I got it. Now would i go back there... Well for a Sunday afternoon, my gut would say to travel the mile further down into Epsom for a better experience but if all i needed was a coffee and a sit-down then i would.

I would highly recommend this pub as the staff are always friendly and the food is always really delicious. They regularly run competitions, quizzes and themed nights and the place is always clean. I look forward to visiting again very soon

Went to the Tuesday evening quiz night here and it was very well organized and a fun host of the quiz. Nice selection of beers as well. All in all a good evening.

There was no warm welcome. the food was warm and didn't come out right. Let people know if you haven't got what's on the dish is what they should've said. Glass was dirty and chipped. Very bland food. No goodbye. Won't be back. Shame as looked nice from outside. Carpark ticket issue to. The ticket says display in the car, yet one of the staff needs more information that only that part in the car had. So that's a bit strange. 🤔
