We had the most delicious Sunday roast. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. A bonus was a walk around the lake, which made the day very special.

We discovered this small cafe just a few years ago, and have visited regularly. It is not the place if you want a cooked meal, but has a nice range of sandwiches, baguettes, toasties and cakes, all reasonably priced. On our latest visit we had toasted cheese and ham sandwiches, followed by delicious chocolate caramel shortbread. Thankfully it's a quiet spot, with very pleasant staff. In warmer weather there is a small outdoor seating area, with views of The Mole and Boxhill. Pleasant and restful. The Garden Centre is good too, with an excellent range of plants.

The food was amazing, although, they didn't have the Steak and Kidney puddings available which was a shame as some of group had been looking forward to that. The atmosphere was good, very relaxing and, the service was good too. Highly recommend it 👍

My friends and I came for lunch after 1 previous visit before lockdown. We all opted for the roast dinner and wow - it was absolutely delicious!!! We all said it was the best roast dinner we'd ever had!!! Every part of it tasted amazing and we cleared our plates! We also couldn't resist having a dessert and those were also amazing, we're already planning our next visit!!!

Stopped off for a few beers over the weekend - hadn't been to the Dolphin in quite a while, but we thought we would try it out as it's now owned by Dorking Brewery. It was all very pleasant; it's a lovely old building - nice beer, a very pleasant beer garden, very enjoyable. We'll be back.

Breakfast. The food was nice and well presented. The service let the place down, we waited a while for our coffees and then had to ask three times for the bill. The view from the restaurant has been spoilt by the domes built in front, so I would say no view really from inside. If you sit outside away from the domes the view is beautiful - but the bugs are biting and gnats out in force (to be expected with standing water - so put on bug spray). The vibe was just off - we are quite chilled out and came away thinking that was the most uninviting place to eat despite the décor being pleasant, etc. We won't be visiting again.

we are always grateful for a trip to the ever-welcoming Dolphin. It is a short walk from our house and on those days when we have worked so hard that we just can't face cooking - it is there and always delivers - so long as we remember their closing times. If late the food has been unreliable and the service mixed, however all seems to be back to normal Since Dorking Bewery took over the reigns We struck gold when we moved to Betchworth!!!

I've visited this cafe many times over the years. The staff are always helpful and friendly, there is a good range of cakes and meals reasonably priced, with gluten free and veg options, and the coffee is lovely and hot! It's a pleasant place to sit looking out over the vegetation!
