We had the most delicious Sunday roast. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. A bonus was a walk around the lake, which made the day very special.

Management staff were on the ball with emails to and from them re our booking. We asked for a dome for birthday lunch which was a great experience. Warm and comfortable, overlooking the lake. Food was delicious too. We will most certainly return.

Always good service at this restaurant in this beautiful spot on the lake! We had a very filling sandwich, chips & salad. If you book for a meal you get free entry. The lake is 2 miles to walk round. So peaceful there!

We had a wonderful meal, the portions were generous and delicious. The atmosphere and view was great. The staff were the best bit of the visit. They were fantastic, a big shout out to them, for everything they did for us. A special thanks to the grounds lady for the lift xx. We will be going back. I was almost in two minds about leaving a review as we know it must get fully booked out!

Just had a wonderful 80th birthday lunch for my husband with 48 friends and family. Setting is amazing, excellent food prepared by first-class chef. Thank you Rosie, Vicki and the whole team for taking over and giving making everything run so smoothly. A memorable day.

I visit the Reverie option. This time I booked for a girls lunch with the hope it would be a nice day and we could make use of the lovely terrace. Food and service were good and although in theory they close lunch service at 4:30 in prep for dinner, they were really flexible and allowed us to order drink beyond that so we could continue to enjoy the space. Always have a good experience here (breakfast/lunch/dinner) and feel very fortunate to have it so close by.

A lovely, intimate setting with friendly and attentive staff. The food was fantastic -- it tasted great and the portions were generous. The chef was extremely accommodating to a gluten-free diet, and we enjoyed sitting at a table where we could see into the kitchen!

Wonderful setting on the edge of a picturesque lake. Despite being extremely busy the staff were most welcoming. The food was delicious and the portions more than adequate. A great venue, if you have a restaurant reservation there is no charge for entry to the park. Well worth a visit.

It was my birthday, and I’d been here once before—the food was good, the vibes were right, and I thought, why not relive the magic? This time, however, we strolled in on a Sunday to find the place emptier than my gym membership in February. A couple of tables were occupied, the staff were polite, and hope was still alive. I ordered a rack of ribs (among other items for the family feast). The kids were buzzing, the wife was smiling, and then... my ribs arrived. A lonely rack of meat on a plate, completely naked. No veggies, no garnish—just ribs on porcelain, like some avant-garde food art exhibit. First impression? About as exciting as a soggy birthday balloon. But hold on, it gets worse. The BBQ sauce—homemade, the waitress proudly informed me—was a tangy apocalypse. Overly sharp, aggressively sour, and apparently, sugar had been barred entry at the sauce-making stage. Sweetness? Nowhere to be found. It tasted like someone had an argument with vinegar and poured their feelings onto my ribs. I considered saying something to the waitress but realized I’d already emotionally checked out. I stared at my ribs, the ribs stared back, and we both knew this wasn’t going to work. I left them half-eaten—which, for spare ribs, is basically a crime. Normally, ribs aren’t about the quantity of meat; they’re about the experience. This experience, though? A disappointing, saucy tragedy. Happy birthday to me, I guess.
