A superb evening - the staff were attentive and helpful, with a smile on their faces the whole time. And the food was fantastic. I strongly recommend a visit.

Not great at all. We went in at about 8.30pm with a booking and were made to feel the place was about to close down - on a Saturday night! We were rushed to leave. It had a really unwelcoming atmosphere. The food was very average. I won't be going back.

A quiet Monday evening and dinner for one on a business trip. Cannot fault the food or service, had the sirloin which was cooked to perfection with a great sauce and amazing chips. Strudel for dessert, equally brilliant Proper food done extremely well

We were greeted at the door with a friendly smile and shown to a clean and well-presented table. The menu offered a good variety of food, and the dishes were beautifully cooked with generous portion sizes. The staff were friendly, helpful, and engaging, and we want to give them a special thank you. We will definitely return when we visit Dorking again.

We came here three weeks ago and it was “ok” the menu had variety… We went back today…. The aubergine was hot on the top but cold on the bottom.. The “smokies” haddock has put two of us on the toilet all evening with extreme diarrhoea (Typing this on the loo in frustration) (within 30 mins of leaving our stomachs went We will return and hope it improves . As a business owner we do not like to receive “bad reviews” but the haddock has made us ill We hope they either stop selling smokies off the menu or change the process in storing the fish.

Fabulous dinner at Arto. Great menu to choose from. We had three courses. Paella and lamb were lovely as was the calamari starter.

Great food. Great service. Varied menu. Would certainly return. We had the Moussaka and the Lamb Shank and shared the figs with yoghurt all great.

The food is good but not great, The portions are quite large, service is good and attentive.

I have been to lots of restaurants but Arto remains my favourite. The meal we had last night has to have been one of the best. Good service, good wine and excellent food. I sometimes think that they are the only restaurant that knows how to cook vegetables properly too. If you haven’t been - go - it’s a great little restaurant.

Came across this restaurant by chance and what a find. Very welcoming, friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere. Good food from a varied menu. Would definitely recommend eating here if you are in Dorking.

Food - as always - great. Standards have gone down a bit though, compared to previous visits. The new (first time, we saw him) waiter was dressed in black shirt but with really scruffy jeans. All other (female) waiting staff were always dressed in proper “appropriate white & black”.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Went in for a late lunch. Arto's has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the food was fabulous. I can thoroughly recommend the halloumi, veggie and avocado wrap. Lovely little touches like a delicious lemon sauce. Great place!

staff is very nice, plenty of gluten free options and knowledgeable kitchen. A bit in the expensive side. We had the chicken sufflaki, sea bass, salad and shrimp skewers - ok overall but not a lot of food. The best the chickens and the most unprovable the shrimp.

The food and atmosphere is excellent in the centre of town. Kudos to the chef and the service was a pleasure. I had a very enjoyable lunch with my daughter,,, delicious seafood and plenty to choose from. Will be back!! 🙂

Great service, the sea bass is delicious, second time having it. Extensive menu, lots of choice, olives are really tasty and reasonably priced. We will come again.

Rather disappointing starter and main, overcooked. Kitchen staff and waitress openly arguing aswell.

We always pay a visit to Arto when in Dorking with friends and/ or our large breed dog. Atmosphere is always lovely and food delicious. We had the Mushroom Risotto's this time and Piri Piri Chicken. Nicely presented and good poriton size. We then finished with the Coconut Panna cotta and Lemon Creme Brulee. Staff always curteous and helpful. Will look forward to our next visit

We had a delayed Christmas work lunch for 16 people at Arto. David was so helpful in organising the booking and rearranging the date when needed. The food was delicious and the service was very good! Will be back again soon!

Fantastic dinner here on Friday night. I had deep fried brie & seafood paella. Friends had brie, mushrooms, steak & moussaka. All delicious. Great service.

Popped in here for brunch - and have to say the food was pretty good. Burger was tasty - and the breakfast was also good and a generous portion. Only issue was service was slow and plates left on table for an age. It wasn't the fault of the server - she was the only person on duty and she desperately needed some help. Would defo return - but more staff needed.

We visited Dorking to watch the football and chanced upon Arto for a quick meal before we caught the train. Absolutely fantastic meal and service. I had the starter size ribs and potato skins whilst my partner had the ravioli.. Both were delicious.. The apple and orchard fruit crumble was also totally gorgeous. The owner was really friendly and spent time chatting to us about our visit and the football. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again if we're ever in Dorking in the future..

We happened upon this venue after searching the local area for somewhere nice to have lunch. Arto offered a clean and friendly venue with plenty of capacity during the busier afternoon lunch period. The staff were exceptionally friendly, even on the phone before we arrived when we booked a table. Service was a little slower because it we visited during a peak time, but this didn't detract from the wonderful food. The menu catered for different food requirements (vegan, gluten free etc.), the portions were generous and full of flavour.

Good mediterranian food, pleasant atmosphere. Will revisit.

Ordered pork loin £18:75 which came with a lot of mash potato and undercooked green beans Greek lamb shank £18:50 tough shank and not 100% edible came with undercooked green beans and broccoli heads some cold and burnt potatoes and carrots 2 small wines &14:50 Service charge £6:21 for taking the order delivering the wine and food not particularly good service Despite other reviews I would not recommend it.

Beautifully presented Mediterranean food

Another visit to Arto with my better half for our anniversary on Tuesday night. It was quiet as you would expect, three or four tables taken. Nice atmosphere with the boss man in attendance and the food was better than ever. You cannot go wrong in Arto, with home made food that is so much nicer than the other other offerings these days. We love it and will always return!😀

Everything I experienced was by far the best quality. The food was perfect. The service was amazing. The only reason I had to give the atmosphere a four was because it was empty, which really upset me because of how great everything else was, people need to know about this place.

Good choice on menu, proper portions, well presented and tasted fine!! Service was polite and quick without trying to fill our glasses up, which makes a nice change!! We will return....

This is the second time I’ve been , food is amazing from home-made fantastic chefs And the service by Maria was excellent, very experienced and here goes the extra mile to make sure everything is all okay . We stopped in Dorking on our way to Gatwick airport. It was a very good choice and we could not have chosen a better place to eat lunch. For us it was a big plus that they had european chefs and could deliver both lovely english and south european food. If you are visiting Dorking then this is the place to visit for lunch!

Disappointing food today. A very small portion of souvlaki for £17.50 that came with a Greek salad but the feta was off so was inedible. My Gorgonzola chicken was not bad, but could have been hotter though. First time visiting and was looking forward to...
