Beautiful restaurant with delicious food

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. I the chicken shish and it was amazing. Highly recommend the chicken was cooked to perfection. Good range of drink options available as well.

Took my 2 boys for a treat after school. The staff were so lovely and made a fuss of my children. Food was absolutely amazing. Great portion sizes.

Went today for some lunch, this was my first visit and I was at first apprehensive because the music wasn’t switched on. That said, as soon as we were greeted it was fantastic. The lamb chops were incredible. The service was genuine and I really felt looked after. I’ll definitely be back!

Place of good food and a lot of attention from the waiters

Friendly staff, nice looking restaurant but well over priced and they add a 12% service charge on at the end! Maybe it was the time of day we ate but the food was very average. I had meze chicken and it lacked any flavour. Also, While we was eating a waiter decided to spray air fresher right next to us which I found very inappropriate.

Where to start! Absolute gem of a find in Dorking. The food is a 10/10, we eat at a lot of Turkish places, this new find tops them all. Very exciting for us 😅 Staff could not be more friendly and helpful. Music is lovely, sets a laid back mood. Even served Turkish baklavas and authentic Turkish tea to finish. Just wonderful…see you next week!!

1st time visit, will return Has low cost good food. Atmosphere is good and the music was a little bit loud, but it works Cocktail and wine available all day. Meze and then lots of evening menu choices. Live music seems frequent

Visited here a few times for brunch/lunch and have tried different dishes - regardless of what we order, it’s always fabulous; really fresh and full of flavour. Friendly, helpful staff, service is excellent and ambience really relaxing. Absolutely love coming here, thank you to all who make it such an enjoyable experience.

We saw that they have good choice of breakfast dishes and served it all day, Between we found the pancakes, egg royale etc were all OK. Service was fine. A bit pricey compared to a cafe but did the job.

Great place with great food. We had chicken beyti, meat moussaka and lamb sauté, everything was delicious. Hummus and baba ghanoush with hot bread was nice to start with, baklava and fudge cake to end.

The atmosphere was amazing, the service was outstanding and the food was excellent. We had an amazing dinner and drinks. Would love to go again soon. Highly recommend!

Everything in this restaurant goes fabulously, the food is very delicious and flavoursome, always fresh in a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Seems like the ideal place for a nice evening with friends or family, absolutely divine what the staff achieve with this place. Prompt, quality and very fast service! The toilets on the other hand I was surprised to see how clean they are, everything neat and in place! I highly recommend anyone who has the chance to pass through the Dorking area to cross the threshold of this restaurant, you definitely won't regret it!!! 🇹🇷🍢🌯

Just popped in here for a coffee when I visited Dorking recently. But ended up having food too. The guys were so pleasant and polite serving us and the food was great. The place was spotlessly clean too. Worth a visit. I'll defo return for dinner sometime 😋

Nice ambiance and staff. However the food wasn’t really prepared well. It was like frozen food microwaved. The lamb kofte was rubbery and didn’t look grilled.

Went for breakfast on Boxing Day, the staff were friendly and very efficient, the food and coffee was excellent, highly recommend.

As soon as we got to the door, the lovely staff opened the door for us and showed us to our table. Very friendly and smiley. It was a lovely welcome! We ordered food and drinks, both came promptly. The mezze platter was amazing! Such lovely flavoursome bits to share. The chicken shish was divine! Full of flavour, juicy and the rice was so good. My friend loved the mixed grill. We asked for the bill and a plate of baklava and tea appeared. The baklava was soooo good! Not too sweet. The tea was a lovely way to end the meal. Highly recommend Turkuaz. Lovely staff, great food!

We normally go out for a meal on a Saturday, but had been scratching our heads for a suitable venue as some of our usual haunts menus had gone all festive and we'll have enough of that in a week's time. We had been to Turquaz with family some time back and remembered it as pretty good, but to be fair the bustle of family and chat diverted from the experience and the food. On arrival we were welcomed warmly and offered a choice of tables. Ice cold water was brought as soon as we sat down and then the very attentive staff took our drinks and food orders. We chose feta parcels and sucuk spicy sausage as starters to share, which proved an excellent choice with the feta parcels tasty and crisp and the sausage slices spicy and full of flavour. For mains we chose lamb saute and lamb beyti, both of which came with a portion of light, fluffy rice and were absolutely delicious. In summary, food was delicious and the service was warm, friendly and super attentive without being pushy. We had an excellent meal, a great experience and will not leave it as long before we return.

Went here with friends for a three course meal. The quality was very good, we had the mix cold and mixed hot starters between 4 of us. Very good presentation. Our mains were tasty and generous portions; I had the lamb kofte, we also tried some of the chicken dishes. For dessert my wife had an expresso martini which went down well. We drank the Turkish beer Efes, and some of the Turkish wine which was surprisingly good. I assumed it would be poor as I'm not aware of seeing it offered in the UK.

Picked up some food for takeaway last weekend and couldn't believe the quality of the food, definitely the highest quality takeaway I've had in Dorking The staff were really nice and friendly when I went in and I noticed that they all seemed to be getting along with each other which makes a welcoming atmosphere. Well done Turkuaz

The best restaurant in Dorking 👌

Unfortunately we were served falafel that had some frozen ingredients in. My main was ok at best. Costly. Restaurant was beautiful and the staff took our main off the bill and gave my wife another drink.

Had dinner here recently and happy to report it was nice and tasty. The menu is not huge and missed some of the staple turkish food, but what was on offer was lovely. Reasonably priced and attentive service.

This place gave me the worst takeaway in 10 years of staying in Dorking. Absolute rip off. Chicken had that solid frozen microwave defrosted texture to it. Dip they provided was gag inducing and about as appetising as swallowing garlic flavoured bleach. This place also had the cheek to charge me nearly £30 for a completely inedible takeaway. The only thing I could eat was the 10p pitta bread! The people of Dorking are mainly in their 50s to 80s and have non existent taste buds, hence their love of bland overpriced rubbish like this.

Terrible food. My son and I ate lunch at this resturant and both got sick a couple hours later. Do not eat here, it will ruin your week. Bathrooms were also filthy.

What's not to like ! Staff extremely friendly , food was delicious and the Turkish wine was excellent. We had an early meal before a show so it wasn't really busy, but we weren't rushed ( pet hate of mine ! ) through at all. All 6 of our party had a different choice , it all looked amazing .

We booked this restaurant for lunch on spec and certainly wasn’t disappointed! The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was fab, especially my baklava! we’re certainly visit again when we’re in Dorking!

4 of us had brunch at Turkuaz during the week. Quiet which is nice when you want to chat and not have a lot of background noise. Friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Food was amazing - recommend the Turkuaz breakfast and the Turkish bread is incredible. Shared the bread around and it was served with jam, honey and cream which also disappeared quickly. I am sure if you ask -the Turkuaz breakfast could be made vegetarian too if needed. The manager kindly gave us some baklava to try which was also scrummy and we want to go back for dinner to try some of the mezze options.

This was a very high priced kebab with fries, and there was a complete lack of flavour. The Chicken lacked flavour and the sources provided were terrible. The chilli one was horrendous with the garlic used, it made me physically ill just smelling it. The fries clearly weren't freshly cut and were frozen fried. No idea how this is getting such high ratings but perhaps its due to the Dorking greys and their absolute love for completely bland food. Who knows? But there is definitely a theme developing here with the popular high rated places in Dorking...

Decent food but waaay overpriced even for Surrey. We paid £45 for 2 adults and one child for light lunch meals and left still hungry. Service was great.

Pricey for basic kebab and rice. Portions are pretty small. Not proper authentic Turkish food that the Turks would eat, it's more catered for bland taste buds. Humus with no flavor, no oil or paprika on it, the chilli sauce has no flavour other than tomatoes. Disappointed seeing as there were so many positive reviews. Expensive for what you get (posh surroundings and disappointing food). Visitors obviously have more money than sense of what is good to eat.

We came for dinner with my daughters. Well…. The restaurant is spotless! So we immediately got very comfortable. The staff were amazing! ( my 3 yr old even got a free dinner AND dessert). The staff were polite and friendly. The portions are filling and very reasonably priced. Delicious and very well presented. We will be back!

I come to Turkuaz often and always leave happy. The staff are all amazing, happy and attentive and treat you as best as possible, regardless, if your only having drinks or eating. Highly recommend this place.

Visited with some friends, great food (we had the mixed grill & lamb chops), quick service, and lovely welcoming staff!! We ended up staying until the restaurant closed and didn’t feel at all like we were being pushed out, which makes a nice change! Will definitely return 😊

Visited Turkuaz with my partner for Valentine’s Day as it is her favourite cuisine (only due to me not having truly experienced it until today) and had a very enjoyable evening fuelled by very high quality food. The waitress was very knowledgeable on the allergens and the menu was very suitable for dairy free and gluten free requirements. We started with a range of cold and hot meze which were all outstanding including cacik and sucuk which were both incredible. I enjoyed a very flavourful lamb shank whereas my partner had what she described as “the best steak she’d ever had” which I also thought was considerably tender despite being on the rarer side than I’d usually aim for. We also decided to take away some baklava that we could enjoy when we returned home. We will most definitely be visiting this restaurant in the future.
