I ordered a linguine lobster from here as a takeaway. Oh my god it was divine, amazing sauce and well cooked. Can't wait till my next fix

Takeaway quality is poor. Food arrived late and cold. Pad Thai did not have flavour and the chicken massaman curry was incredibly oily and used bone-in, skin-on thigh - not pleasant. Disappointing!

Great service and the food is amazing. My daughter and I had the dumplings to share which were so so good. I had the slow cooked lamb massaman curry and my daughter had the duck. Both delicious. Made to feel very welcome. Ambiance good and acoustics also good. Will definitely visit again.

I have visited Somers a few times now and every time the service, food and drinks have been perfect! I will definitely be making more visits in the future.

Came here today with my mum and cousin for a catch up and lunch. Very good menu with plenty of choices and surely something for everyone. I was warned that there was a twenty minute wait for food when I ordered but that was ok as we weren't in a particular hurry. My mum and cousin both have small appetites so chose from the kids menu, larger portion, age 6+. Both meals looked really good and a big enough portion - the chicken breast and the sausages & mash (ask for gravy if you want it, not served as standard). The kids meal came with Berry Mess which was also declared delicious. I had the vegan Rainbow lasagne which was really tasty and filling - rich tomato sauce, lovely slices of butternut squash and delicious white sauce, topped with seeds. It came with an incredibly generous side salad and I had the garlic ciabatta which was good. The pot of tea was declared very good and excellent value. We also had a glass of wine & soda and a diet coke. The service was first class and very welcoming. And the pub looks good after its makeover. All in all, a very nice visit. I would certainly recommend.

We booked a table for early Saturday evening. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived. The service was very poor throughout the evening. They had plenty of waiting staff - at least 5 that I saw. But they were very disorganised, and we were overlooked for most of the evening. We were initially asked if we wanted drinks, but after this we were never asked again for the rest of the meal, and no one at any point asked if we were happy with any of the food. Our drinks and starters were served relatively quickly. I had the calamari but the coating was very crunchy and not very nice. We both had pizza for our mains - I think they must have gone to Italy to get the ingredients. It took aeons to arrive, and only after we managed to flag down a waitress to ask what on earth was going on. She said it was on its way and that she had spoken to the kitchen, but it was very apparent that they had simply forgotten our order, given that people on a table next to us who had arrived long after we did, got their pizza within 10 minutes. By the time we started our pizza, most of the other guests who had been there around the same time as us were on their desserts. There was no apology for the delay. I left over half of my pizza as the base was really chewy, and I was struggling to cut it, as was my partner. It seemed the more it cooled, the harder it was to cut through it. I am not exaggerating when I say that my wrists were aching in the end, which is why I gave up on eating it. I don't expect to get repetitive strain injury when coming out for a meal. We didn't bother with dessert after this. I also noted that an Italian sounding gentleman (I don't know if he is the owner) went from table to table throughout the course of the evening, chatting to guests, and making sure that everyone was happy with their food. Not once did he come over to us, or even look in our direction. They also had the cheek to add a 10% service charge to the meal which was not optional. I will not be returning after experiencing their shambolic and poor service, and the chewy pizza.

Treat their young staff poorly. Cancel staff shifts with half an hour's notice when they know young people need the work. All due to poor management planning. It's a shame they treat people like this.

Had a takeaway, friendly team. Didn't take long. Restaurant decor isn't particularly authentic and a bit flat with English pop music playing even though they have an unusual large floor tv screen playing Bollywood films. Reasonably priced, bit oily but tasted good. Didn't give it 5* as I've had better but would be happy to visit again. Thanks

Really welcoming good range of fresh Italian food and drinks .Much better offering than other Italians and pizza restaurants in area .Highly recommend

The pub has a great atmosphere. The food is delicious food - lots of variety on the menu and good value. Good beer and wine list. Lovely garden.
