The best restaurants in East Grinstead Town Mid Sussex South East

Use to order quite a bit from here and the food was always really nice. By far my favourite chips and cod. Recently not to sure what’s changed but ordered last week and the chips were cooked in old oil, thought maybe it was a one off so ordered again but this time 90% of the chips were cooked in old oil and the cod was just quite dry. Ordered a large cod and looked like it was a small. It’s a shame but think I’ll be looking for another chippy and maybe try one last time in a few months. The employees that deliver are very well mannered and friendly.

Brilliant! Loved this 'olde mouldy' pub. Dan was a great barkeep and made excellent suggestions based on my taste (DARK). Word the street is it is owned by the patrons like a club or something and I have to say I was treated like one of the family and had a most excellent time hanging out having a few and talking Shte with the other patrons. My only regret is finding this place on my second to last night in East Grinstead. Next time I'll be visiting multiple times.

Soup of the day was the M&S tomato and lentil soup. (I know as I use to eat it every week at one point) the avo and eggs was super plain, no flavour, Really basic. Prices were extortionate for how poor the food quality was. There was bizarrely 6 young serving staff for a very small cafe that perhaps needed 2.

Amy & Richard catered our daughter's 18th Birthday party in Oxfordshire. They were absolutely brilliant and the pizza's were delicious. Thoroughly recommend The Pizza Post.

Was practically empty so we asked to sit on the large benches, especially as there’s two of them, and the old lady was very rude and said “no they’re for bigger parties”. So we had to sit in a grungy dark cold corner even though no one came in the whole time to use the large benches.

Nice beers food and dog freindly

The restaurant does not look anything from the outside but when you get inside that changes. The owners and staff are so pleasant. The food is excellent. This is the second time of going and both times have been extremely good.

Love this place. Went for drinks one evening and felt like I had found an absolute gem. Great old school rock music, lovely Japanese lager and brilliant vibe.

Great attentive service as always! Every member of staff makes you feel like a member of their own family! The food was impeccable as usual!

Has a food hygiene rating of 1/5, disgusting. Before checking online I called the cafe to check and the barista refused to tell me the number. Response: yeah it’s only 5 as of now.l February. Ignoring that for years it was still 1.
