Great welcome and service by staff to this cosy family run restaurant. Enjoyed La familia and Estrella Galicia beer on draught whilst the mrs enjoyed Sangria. Had quite a nice selection of tapas- standouts were Chorizitos, Plato de pescado mixtas, Albondigas & arroz con vegetales. Prompt service & tasty food- warmly recommended!

Local run business. Well established in the town and very popular with a more mature clientele. Everything cooked from fresh by the owner and her friendly team. Very popular on Sunday for their roast lunches. Good portion sizes. Highly recommended.

Lovely welcoming shop and cafe. Great range of goods, food and drinks. It felt like dining at a friend’s house 🥰 Had some delicious gluten free lunch-sausage roll and Caramel Apple cake 😋 Polly also gave me some complimentary gf toast and hummus to try, which was very tasty too! Soup was my mum’s (that bread wasn’t gf, but apparently yummy too) As far as I know, everything in there is also Vegan! (If not all, then definitely most!)

Never eaten here before, ordered baaes on a recommendation from a friend. Can't commend on atmosphere as we did delivery. Food came within the time we were told, delivery driver was polite, food was hot. Had 1 pilau rice, 2 chicken korma, 2 mint sauce, 2 garlic naan and chicken pakora. The garlic naans are massive, we could have shared! And that's not a bad thing we love naans. Portions were good for the price.

We were celebrating a birthday with family! We sat in the bar area with a drink while waiting for our table. The staff are attentive and the service we recieved was exemplary. The food is absolutely delicious, plentiful and not over priced. It is all very fresh and good quality ingredients Having just moved into the area I am so happy we found it. Can’t wait to go back!

We ordered food at 7pm on Saturday night, 40 mins was the advised time, and we called after 1 hour to ask where the food was and we were told it would be 20 mins. We called again at 9pm as the food had still not arrived and we were sworn at and asked if they should start making my the food now, honestly shocked to be honest. We have been waiting 2 hours for our food and have just been told they haven’t even started cooking it yet!!!! It’s just not ok to swear at customers and lie to them.

Have had a takeaway twice since under new ownership. Really delicious curries on both occasions, lovely tender chicken, fresh flavours and generous portions. Highly recommend!

Have been here to eat in on several occasions. Today I had a takeaway. I expected it to be good, but it was in fact great! Quite honestly the nicest takeout curry I’ve ever had. I ordered: Lamb Korma (don’t judge me). Mushroom Fried Rice Garlic Naan Onion Baji Definitely the best Indian Restaurant in Burgess Hill. I would recommend eat in or take away.

Had take away a few weeks ago and was FANTASTIC! Had same tonight and BERY disappointed ☹️ chicken very very dry, ordered muta paneer (for a change) and was so dry and overcooked! Thought we had found a little gem but alas no 🤦‍♀️

Stopped for a sandwich and drink whilst on a shopping trip. Polite friendly staff clean and tidy. Very popular as very busy small cafe

The food was brought out quickly, it was hot and there are no complaints at all, the price for quality of food is really good. The staff were lovely, I wasn’t able to catch their names but they were friendly, easy to talk to and very welcoming ,both were woman, I believe one of them was younger with blonde hair, the other had brown hair and looked in her 30s - 40s, thank you for the good service :)!

Had a great breakfast from here at lunch time . Delivery driver from just eat in the pouring down rain was very friendly Definitely ordering from Thornes again quality of food fantastic

Fabulous little place was very busy today but managed to get a table, staff were very lovely and smiley. Food was great we had ham and cheese omelette. Very very well priced. Will return

My partner and I are always happy when we get a takeaway from Kings Garden. Great food, some really good veggie options, our go-to chinese.
